How to hide text in a book?

I have to do a collection of several book in InDesign CS6 where there are numerous variables usually text shortcuts content headers , all have them identified with a style of paragraph and a tag in the xml but this content need only be visible in the headwaters of the book and not in the body why I put a transparent color and a very small body so that you make me white unwanted , even and all have a problem in that it coincides with the front page no way that is not noticeable and I is the " fall" page.
Is there another way to hide this text without losing information for seactualice the header?
Can you think of any solution occurs ?

The text is inside the body of the book I have a xml file as I pass "automatically" to a nonprinting layer that paragraph style.

I have the following problem:
1. I'd like to include additional Information in my table of contents which I don't want to appear in the text I refer to.
Example: I do have a picture with a caption saying:
picture 1: Blablabla.
And I want to have the source of the picture as additional information in the table of contents:
picture 1........Blablabla (source: thisandthat)........23
Still I don't want this additional content to disappear, as soon as I update the table of contents!
How can I achieve that?
2. And how can I have this the other way round?
Let's say I want the source in the caption, but not in the table of contents.
So the caption says:
picture1: Blablabla (source: thisandthat)
but the table of content says:
picture 1........Blablabla.....................23
I was trying to achieve this by two different praograph styles in the caption. One which would be listed, and one which wouldn't be listed, but this of course resulted in always having two paragraphs in the caption, which I'd like to avoid:
picture1: Blablabla
(source: thisandthat)
Any solution to this?

Sorry, missed the second part of the question. I think the only way to do that is to use invisible "dummy" text of some sort, and if you're going to do it for some entries, you might as will do it for all.
One of the easiest ways is to put the text you want inthe TOC into an anchored frame attached to the actual heading in the text (so it moves along with it). Use a unique paragraph style for this text, and include this style, not the one applied to the headings inthe text, to make the TOC. I usually use a character color of red to make it satnd oout so I don't forget it's there, and the position on the page isn't really critical. Select the anchored frame, open the Attributes panel and make it non-printing. You'll see it in editing mode, the TOC will pick it up (as will variables, if required) but it will disappear on output.

How to hide Text Variable in the Query title

Hi guys,
here again in a very easy pratical issue.
I need to insert a text variable in a report title.
The variable is updated with an exit and the text is get once the query is executed. This works fine.
My problem is that in report selection (so opening the query and between queries available for an Infoprovider) I see the tech variable name of the query. Do you know if there is a method to hide the variable or if it is possible to valorize it when the report title in the report selection is displayed?

I have a set of text Field items in oracle apex:
Order Number
Revision Number
When we open the report, revision should be hidden.
Only when the user enters unique order number (non-duplicate order numbers), revision number should be visible.
If he enters duplicate order number, revision number should be hidden.
Please help.

I want to hide a column in BEx Query Designer when it is not authorization to see it.
I am using 0TCAKYFNM to filer the authorization by key figures. The key figure appers in red with "NA". I want to hide this column in BEx Analyzer and BEx Web.
Is there any way to do that?

Contact form, how to hide text and show hints?

I want to create a contact form, using Dreamweaver. In the preview it looks allright. But when uploading, I get the following problems:
The "hints" inside the boxes are missing, nomatter what browser I use.
The text "A value is required" (for example) is visible all the time. It should only be visible if people enter and leave the box blank.
And I just saw that it doesn't respect my font either, only in the preview mode.

   I would like to have your suggestion how to hide row in planning book using BADI USER_EXIT_MACRO
   the requirement is when I drill down the object by region, the first line will be "total" and the second and third line
   will be region like "north" and "south".
   I want to show only "total" line and hide region detail.
   Would it be possible to do this using the badi USER_EXIT_MACRO?

Hi,
In the Interactive Planning, you see a Cap-like icon on the top-left...... click on it and choose the characteristic (say, region) and say ok. You will then be able to see the Region just on top of the planning table. When you load the data, by default, it will have "Total" as option, and with your wish, you can choose to see the data for a particular region (North, South etc).

Detail: I am having a HTML from, having text box, displayed using UIWebView. If user types in text box it shows the keyboard. Now If user tap and hold on text box it shows a popup menu. Now while keyboard and pop up are being displayed user scrolls the view. At this time it shows pop up over the keyboard which I need to hide.
I tried setMenuVisible of UIMenuController when popup rect and keyboard rect intersects each other on viewDidScroll but it didn't help me.
Any clues will help a lot.

There are different templates for iPhoto books and they differ from version of iPhoto to iPhoto, so explore the other options.

But creates problem in printed stationary, specially in Cheque-printing.

Is these reports are developed on 11g or migrated from earlier version.
Anyhow, to test it, - create a report from scratch on 11g and run it, Also check the Footer for any Lines on it.
I hope you can identify the issue by redoing the thing for testing

Yes you are miss understanding the problem. To clarify. The problem is not how to delete the book from a device, it is how to delete the puchase (i.e. the history). You can hide it in your account settings, but you cannot delete it. So if you buy something on a shared account (i.e. a family account like mine), your children can see and download any of your puchases - forever.
Some will say it's for your protection. A bit like the shop looking after your receipt, so that you cannot lose it.
However, I thought that as part of the data protection act, you could ask for this information kept about you to be deleted, but this doesn't apply to Apple purchases. Believe me I've tried.

Hi,
First you need to figure out where the button is being dynamically generated. Then you can use the enhancement framework to hide the button (Change the visibility of the button) once it is generated. The enhancement framework allows you to add code at certain positions within the application. You will have to find a point after the button is generated.

Authorize your new computer's iTunes first - Store>Authorize this computer.
1) Without connecting your iPad to your laptop, start iTunes. Click on Edit. Click on Preferences. Click on Devices. Check the box next to "Prevent your iPod etc. from automatically syncing." Click OK.
2) Now connect your iPad to your laptop and start iTunes.
3) When iTunes starts, right click on your iPad under Devices in the left column. Select Transfer purchases etc.
4) After it finishes transferring all your apps to your new laptop, right click on your iPad and select Backup your iPad.
5) After it finishes backing up your iPad, right click on your iPad and select Restore etc.
6) After it finishes restoring, left click on your iPad , then click on the Apps tab on top, and check the box next to Sync Apps, then click on Apply below.
If everything on your iPad looks good after the sync, go back and click on Edit / Preferences / Devices and UN-check the box next to Prevent your iPod etc. The only other thing you may want to check is if your contacts, bookmarks, etc. are syncing correctly now. If not, go to the Info tab after connecting and make sure you indicate which features you want to sync with what sources.
