How to Highlight the selected row of table

Hi All,
I have a result table. I want the selected row to be highlighted in orange color.
The properties of the table are as follows :
rowSelectable : true
selectionChangeBehaviour : auto
selectionMode : auto
Please let me know what am I missing.

We too encountered this problem in EP 6.0. The code is correct. Actually
int index=wdContext.nodeSales_Orders1().getLeadSelection();
is enough.
But this is not the problem. It is the problem with either browser or Portal Runtime.
Is your version EP 6.0? Is this a problem for all tables or only this table? Check with other browsers like Mozilla..(or different IE versions).

Any ideas on what would cause this NOT to work? I added this row right after the table is created and populated and it is still not highlighted when I enter the form. The snippet of code that does this is:

How to Fix the 1st row in Table
In EP, one of the page we are getting out put in the table format. It's working fine, but as per the new requirement we have to fix (freeze) the first row of the table. (.i.e. whenever I click the page down button first row should be visible in the table). Can you help regarding the above issue?
For Example: in Table having 6 rows. In 1st row display Year Month and 2,3,4---etc Rows will display Quantity. Click on Page down Button in Table we are able to staring 2row. First was a movie up. So End user canu2019t find which year/moth under the Quantity is available.
So I have to fix in 1st row. Click on page down button table 1st row is fixed but comes to another Quantity Records.
It is Possible in Table? If possible please tell me.

I don't think there is direct availabe method available to fix the row. However, there are two ways using which you can achieve the requirement:
To go ahead with the custom table. This way you can set your own properties for the table. However, this may impact performance handling large data.
Second option is to use other features of NW04s (Not available in NW04) like Table Popins using which you can achieve something similar.

You can fill selected values of the table by writing to it or the corresponding property using a property node - the table is just a 2D array of strings. I think for your "disable" question you are referring to the shortcut menu (when you right click). If you are using LabVIEW 8.x, you can edit or disable that shortcut menu - just right click on your table at edit time and choose Advanced >> Run-Time Shortcut Menu.

How to get the ids of all the selected rows. On Page load a query is executed that shows the data in a table with a checkbox in the first column to select the rows and delete. Now if a user select multiple rows how do I get the ids of selected rows in the backend code.

I have list of roles in a table like admin,dba...etc.
i will select the current selected role using
Stgin role =wdCotext.currentElement().getRole();
After getting the role i bind this value in context.
now my requiremnet is i will navigate to other table view containing all roles like admin,dba,networkadmin .
I have to highlight the selected role in previous table to new table containing the all the roles.
means selected role should be highlight in a next table view list of roles.
please help.

Hi mohammad,
To achieve this functionality, use another integer variable to store the index of the currently selected element in the first view. Pass this variable's value to the next view (either as plug parameter or throgh mapping) and set the Lead selection for the table as this index in the second view.
In the first View ....
int n = wdContext.current<your_node>Element().index()
pass this value from first view to second view.
In the second view
wdContext.node<your_node>().setLeadSelection(n)

Hi Suresh,
Your scenario is simple. Just follow the ex as shown below
(Assuming you want default selection view provided by table itself.)
1>Create 2 views (Ex:A and B)
2>Create a Context with a node and attributes(For Ex:Person as node and Fname and Last Name as attributes
2>In A view create a table with F name and L Name(map to context as well) and a action button to navigate to B view when you selected a particualr row o.k
3>In B view, create a TextView with mapping to LastName(or all the data if you want from input selection) from the context
If you want you can add back action button from B view to A view for easy navigation.
4>Execute the application and select any row in the table appeared, press next action button,you can see that the selected row details will be shown in second(B) view.
If you do the above example, I think you can easily find the solution for navigation issue.. try it out.
In case if you are not able to ...let me know..I have that example.

I am using multi select af:Table and it is based on a programmatically populated view. When the table is single select I can use the getCurrentRow at the view implementation. I wonder whether there is a way to get list of selected rows within the view implementation for the multi-select scenario.
I saw some ways of doing it in the page's backing bean but it will be more appropriate if I could do it at the model project.

But looks like these two different things.
Anyway I am doing it by passing the values through the backing bean.

The ‘G_F01’ is an array of values, so apex_application.g_f01(1) will always bring you the first element of this array. If you want to retrieve other values from this array, which will include the values of the radiogroup value of the other lines, you need to use a loop. Something like that should work:
for i in 1.. apex_application.g_f01.count loop
… apex_application.g_f01(i) …
end loop;

That means that the value of your radiogroup item should include some indication to the line you are on. If, like in Andy’s example, you can retrieve your record from a table, based on a PK, your radiogroup can return this kind of information. However, if the data on the other columns of the select raw, were just entered/updated by the user (like in a tabular form), the radiogroup item should include information about the row you are in, in order for you to be able to access the corresponding array elements – other G-Fxx arrays – of the other columns in the row. In this case, I believe using checkboxes is preferable.
