How to How to restore a damaged itunes base (Windows XP)

An micro powercut during the connection of my iphone returned the following message "itunes base corrupted. New base created".
The new base was of course empty. That means I had therefore lost my vocal notes, musics, videos, etc.
The Applestore Assistance couldn't find solution because it doesn't know Windows well enough. But it gave me the itunes base name: Itunes Music Library. That's a .xml file.
I had therefore 2 itunes bases on my machine, with one precisely written: (damaged).
After a right click, I erased "(damaged)" and clicked on the base name to re-open it with no failure.

How I fixed broken Home Share under iTunes in Windows

Every once in a while my "Airplay" icon disapears under Windows iTunes. I have no clue why but it happens but it does. My guess is too many ios devices connecting and syncing at once somehow corrupts a config file.
Even after a reboot its still gone. I know my network is fine as all my other iOS devices such as my iphone and my kids can still select out 2 Apple Tvs to Airplay to,
Anyways, my fix is this:
close iTunes
DELETE ALL files and folders in this folder: C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\Apple Computer\iTunes\*.*
restart iTunes and your Airplay shoulb be back.
my library and playlists are all fine

How to save and restore Music from iTunes without using library ?

I use an 60 giga iPod I started to fill it with my CDs without using library, just directly in it, I delete the Music in the library after record to save place on may computer. I have nearly 7 megas of Music stored. To fill 60 Giga it wille takes at least 6 months on my rest time. At the end if i loose my iPod or if stolen or broken or if i want to buy a new iPod of 80 Giga for example to store more Music ? How can i save Music in my iPod on a Hard Disk or DVD and restore on it or on a new one ? Is it possible or not allowed by iTunes to avoid Music copie ?

Syncing music to the iPod is a one-way street, as discussed in this article:

If you are concerned about using up your computer's hard drive for music, and are using iTunes 7, you might consider creating your library on an external drive if one is available.

They are protected WMA from when you RIP'd them with WMP. iTunes will not read them.
Go to WMP Tools -> Rip Music.
Under Rip settings, it is set to *Windows Media Audio* and most likely *Copy protect music* is ticked. This is how it is protected.
You will need to reRIP them all from CD.

I just want to know how I can access the purchased section from iTunes 12 on Windows 8.1 PC. I just updated to iTunes 12 because every time when I plug-in my iOS devices running iOS 8.1, it would always prompt me for update. I noticed that Apple has redesigned and changed a lot with iTunes 12 unlike previous versions. I wanted to access my purchased section from App Store portion of iTunes Store. I know I can access them from iOS device but I wanted to cleanup my unwanted purchases, which means basically hide them.

How do i sync my iphone with itunes on windows 8?

I have Windows 8 and I cannot sync my iphone 5 to my itunes.
When I open Itunes, I go to File > Devices > but i cannot select the Sync options.
I don't know why.
I am thinking it is because i am using Windows 8. however I have checked my updates, and itunes says i'm currently upated with itunes (11.0.4)
Please help!!! it's really frustrating because i want the music on my itunes to go on my iphone!!

It sounds like you are not seeing the options to sync in the latest version of iTunes. I found an article that has steps for syncing with iTunes 11:

Please tell me how to install the new version of itunes on windows 7. Every time I attempt, I get an error at the very end of installation.

How can I restore my old iTunes Time Machine backup after upgrading to Mavericks?

I previously had Snow Leopard, and am wondering how I can simply restore ONLY my iTunes library from my Time Machine backup, last made only a few days ago when I had Snow Leopard. Your choice really. Either way will work. Retaining the older backups gives you a way to restore older files. When I upgrade from 10.8 to 10.9, the backups continued without errors. Depending on what you upgraded from, in 10.8/9 you have the option to backup to 2 separate drives thus giving you some protection in case one drive fails. You can either copy the old backup to a new drive (Disk Utility/Restore seems to work best) or start a new one.

You can't use the apps on your computer, they can only be used on iOS devices : iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches. Depending on which version of iOS you have on your iPod Touches (Settings > General > About > Version) then you should be able to sync most of the apps to them, especially the newer model - an app's requirements, including the minimum iOS version, are listed on the left-hand side of its description page in the store.
To sync the apps, connect and select the iPod on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, and then on the right-hand side on the Apps select which apps you want to sync, and then sync/apply that selection
