How to i allow applications to use push notifications?

I just got my first iphone. Excitedly, i downloaded a ton of apps. I didn't know what push notifications were, so i didn't allow any of these new apps to use push. how do i go back and allow push in apps?

Thanks. I think I have a handle on pushes now. Originally, I totally missunderstood what "push" meant in this context. I thought it meant aps would send me more notifications than normal. Not that it referred to the technology of how the notifications got to my phone.
I have also downloaded the manual... which is way more helpful than the tiny pamphlet that came with the phone!!

Hi,
One of my ex-colleagues has installed a NI-DAQ 6.5 in our system. [And I do not see any other naitional instruments card in the CPU of the computer, may be he removed it] I deleted the account and all his files in the system. When I am trying to install version8.0, its not getting installed and giving me a message that I should uninstall the previous version by going to Add/Remove programs in the control panel.
I tried doing that, but the "Change/Remove" button does not seem to work...[There is no response and so unable to install the new version...]
Any idea how can this problem be solved?
It is a windowsXP operating system with SP2 installed on a machine with P4 processor.

Yes - I connected my phone to my computer / Itunes and went into the apps section, but from there I have no idea how to manage the push notifications. I even tryied going into itunes that is installed on my phone. I still cannot find anyplace to manage these popups. How to get web application to use Tuscany without conflicting with SAP SDO

We are attempting to run a web application on SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1 SP1 which uses Tuscany SDO. As it now stands We must use Tuscany because the web application will not run with the SAP SDO implementation provided by Netweaver. To ensure that Tuscany is loaded with priority, we have packaged the Tuscany JAR files and their dependencies as a heavy resource, as described here:

The final check showed that Tuscany was correctly deployed as a heavy resource and included the following JAR files:

tuscany-sdo-lib-1.1.1.jar

We also verified that the web application using Tuscany has a hard reference to the Tuscany heavy resource.
However, when we try to run the web application, the following error is logged: java.lang.LinkageError: Class commonj/sdo/DataGraph violates loader constraints
The issue is definitely due to some kind of classloading conflict with the SAP SDO library, as the application runs normally when SAP SDO is manually removed from the classpath. Doing this on a production system is unfortunately not an option, though.
So the question is: how to get web application to use Tuscany without conflicting with SAP SDO?

I took a look at the "printerReady" example. Looks like I may be able to use the InetPing (...) function to ping through a range of IP addresses looking for a response.
Any ideas on how to find the MAC address associated with the IP addresses that respond?
We may have multiple units responding and the MAC address will allow the operator to determing which unit to connect to.
I'll try the InetPing to see how it works,

This definitely works and only takes a couple of minutes. There is no need for backing up or resetting your phone.

HT3576 How can I get rid of "Connect to itunes to use push notifications" pop-ups. I just had to replace my iPhone 5 and when I did a restore from backup, most of my apps will not let me in becuase I cannot get past the"connect to itunes..." message.

My iPhone 5 was distroyed so I replaced it with a new iPhone 5 yesterday. I did a restore from a backup that i had performed a week ago. When I tried to use the phone several of my apps would not let me in becuase they continually gave me a popup message "Connect to Itunes to use push notifications". I click ok and the popup comes back. I have shut my phone off several times. I have complete closed the apps several times. I have even deleted the apps from my phone and reinstalled. I have exactly the same problem.
I'm a little peed-off with Microsoft on this. The original wireless controller I have doesn't work either since the cable I'm using is 'just' the charge and play cable, so a direct connection to my Mac won't work with this cable. It's a cable for god's sake. Why on EARTH put any limitations on this!?!?
Next I learn I need an additional USB wireless receiver from Microsoft to get my original 360 controller to talk to my Mac. As I certainly don't want to fork any more microsoft dollars on this, this is not an option.
Next I think, yes! I have a MadCatz 360 wired USB controller. This should surely do the trick just plugging it in and the way I go. But oh no, for some reason I plug my MadCatz Xbox360 controller in, it flashes a few times then switches off and can't be turned on again.
The System Profiles recognizes it as a MadCatz 360 device controller but that is about it, but the ontroller software I download for the System Prefs (360Controller, USBOverdrive etc) don't even recognize the controller as being plugged in.
What the **** Is The Microsoft Deal with all of this!?!?
PS: Oh, and I forgot to mention, there are No drivers for device 4716 that I can find on the MadCatz website, or am I going blind?

Problem with constant "Allow application to use ne...

I just bought this phone today (first Nokia phone) and I'm having a pretty irritating issue with the error message: "Allow application to use network and send or receive data?" This seems to only happen with my Gmail, fring, and eBuddy applications. My other applications (like Opera Mini for instance) will ask only once when the app first starts or not at all.
After a bit of Googling and searching the forum I found out that I can go to Settings>Application Manager>Installed Apps, then click the program and change settings for Access Point and Network Access. Only problem is that for the affected programs the only options under Network access are Ask every time and Not allowed. I've tried closing the open program and trying this, as well as with it open. I've also tried restarting the phone and uninstalling and reinstalling the phone but neither helped. I'm a little stumped and this is a big issue for me since I am planning on using those applications pretty heavily so having to constantly select Yes everytime the program accesses the Internet will be annoying.

No, unfortunately. I did a little more research and apparently the problem is caused by something AT&T did that doesn't allow unsigned apps to change permissions besides the Ask Everytime and Never Allow. And it looks unlikely that the phone will be able to be unlocked or unbranded to change this since it uses different software or something.
Which makes this phone worthless to me (well that, plus some other niggling issues). I'm keeping it until my next paycheck, then taking it back and exchanging for another phone that will do what I want. I'm a little upset at AT&T for crippling this phone like this, and I'm also upset at Nokia for allowing AT&T to cripple the phone so badly.
And scooby, what do you mean by Maps? I use the Google Maps app as well as the Telenav GPS app and neither one has a problem with receiving data. I never get prompts from either program.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

I have had this same issue but thankfully fixed it. Follow he steps below:
Sync your iPhone with you iTunes therefore your info is backed up. Unplug your phone.
Go to Settings > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings
Once your phone has reset and come back on answer the question until it asks if you want to back up from itunes Click this then plug your phone in.
After everything has sync'd back to your phone everything should work fine.

I followed the instructions and connected my iphone to iTunes for a sync. I even turned off my phone completely and started again.
But I get the same error messages.
