Most web based email services do not have table features in the composers, so I think you can paste the table in a text/document editor you like, save the file, and attach it to the email you're sending.
Pasting this in plain text also should work:

How do I attach a file to a Mail doc without the file being opened in the Mail document?

You will (often) see a preview of the attachment, depending upon the file type.  To get rid of the preview: control click on the attachment select "View as icon".
(What the recipient of your message sees is dictated by that person's email application.  If you want to make sure the person gets an attachement which is not previewed, you can zip it (control-click, "Compress...") and then attach the zipped file(s).  Or you can try something like Attachment Tamer.)

  • How do I attach emails in a new email?

By selecting/highlighting an email message, I can do "Message-->Forward as Attachment" and this will create a new email message with the selected/highlighted email attached.
If I create a new email message (or reply to existing message), how can I attach another email to it? I can not find any option and drag-drop doesn't work.
    Any ideas?

    Sorry about that.
I am able to reproduce the problem. Unfortunately, the Apple Bug Reporter is down right now. Here is how to reproduce it:
    1) Send yourself an email message with an image attachment.
    2) Check your mail.
    3) In your Inbox, select the message you just sent yourself.
    4) Compose a new message. Change both the to and from addresses to be different than the first message.
    5) Choose Append Selected Messages from the Edit menu.
    6) Send the new message.
    7) Check your email again.
    8) Observe that the image in the newly recieved message is displayed in both the Sent mailbox and Inbox.
    9) View the Raw source of the newly received message.
    10) Observe that there is no actual image data in the message.
    11) Check your email on a different machine.
    12) Observe that there is only a placeholder error indicator where the image should be.
It is quite common for people to have multiple email accounts. I would not recommend the Append Selected Messages feature due to this bug. The one-at-a-time drag and drop message attach method does not have this problem. If you see people complaining about missing attachments, this could be a possible reason.

  • How do I attach a file to a mail message with my new iPhone?

My daughter wants to know how to attach a file to a mail message and even send a file from iCloud to someone via iPhone mail.
    How do we do that?
    Thanks,
    Rookie

Firefox doesn't do email, it's a web browser.
If you are using Firefox to access web mail, you need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.
If your problem is with Thunderbird, see this forum for support.

  • How do I attach iCloud file to e-mail (Mac)?

    Hi all,
This is something I have failed to figure out, and may not be a feature, but I was wondering if the Mail app on Mac (Mountain Lion) can access icloud files, for example those created in Pages. When I click on the attachment icon in a new email window and brows files, there is no option for accessing iCloud files. At present each file I want to email, I have to share individually from the Pages app. This is frustrating as if I want to share two files I have to send two emails! Is there a way around this? Am I missing something?

I understand the principles of your argument, but I think it is misguided to confuse novelty with modernity.
I recognise the difficlty in navigating to files within nested structures, but Finder is just as able to locate the file several levels down in a nested file structure as it is if everything were to be on one level. It is no more or less easy to search by name, tag or content however the files are arranged, it is, however, vastly more troublesome to navigate to a project or contact group when you are faced with an interminable list of hundreds, if not thousands, of file names. To make matters worse, Apple separates files by application, so you if you are in Pages you can only access Pages documents (even though there might be Word documents from, say, a client, that could, potentially, be opened in Pages), or there might be something that you thought you had written in Pages but actually produced in Keynote, or even Numbers, which is simply not visible.
This rather naive approach is driven partly by a somewhat detatched perspective on real world business, a desire to be 'modern', while ignoring the fact that systems often evolve the way people want them to be, and, most importantly, a blind obsession with iOS which dictates that everything must be dumbed-down to work on an iPhone or iPad - even though few of us will ever want to produce spreadsheets or business presentations on our phone... but, in the utopian stratosphere of Cupertino, it is an 'awesome concept' which everyone will 'really love'. In fact iOS users will really love it so much they're going to start getting it free! (behavioural economics would suggest that they are even less likely to use it if it is perceived to have no monetary value).
While I appreciate you desire to be in step with the Apple vision, your observations about 'hierarchical filesystems' rather misses the point. If I had one vast cupboard into which I would throw all my written work, another cupboard into which I would throw anything with numbers and a third containing anything with pictures, even if I had a house elf for each who could magically produce a particular item from their respective cupboard, how could I find those items that didn't fit into a particular category? How could I review everything relating to a particular project or person or practice or client or region? Suddenly the filing cabinet looks like a revolutionary idea!

  • How to send attachment as html file in mail in workflow

    Hi Experts,
I want to know how i can send an attachment as .html file by mail in sap workflow.
By default it is being sent as .txt file.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Kapil Kumar

    Hello,
In your decision step you can put this binding (if you haven't already):
    Workflow                  Step
    &DECISIONCOMMENTS&   <-   &_ATTACH_OBJECTS&
where DECISIONCOMMENTS is a BOR of type SOFM.
In the next step you can use fm SO_DOCUMENT_READ_API1
to get the actual text lines.
Once you have that you can convert it to HTML (not
sure how) or you could use fm SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1
to send it as a HTML attachment.
    regards
    Rick

  • How to change colour of mailbox containing new mail

I have Thunderbird sort my incoming mail into various mailboxes based on various criteria.
Until recently, when new mail arrived in any box, the title of that box (in the list, left hand pane) turned red - thus making it easy for me to identify which boxes needed my attention. For some reason this has stopped. The incremental number showing the number of unread messages still changes, but the title colour remains black.
Anyone know how to change the behaviour to highlight mailboxes containing new mail please?
    Thanks..

My point is that until recently the behaviour was automatic - it changed the colour of box names as amatter of course. This has now changed, wth all box names being in black whether or not there is new mail in the box.
I receive a lot of mail and being able to quickly distinguish which box had received new mail would make life easier..
I suspect there is a setting within Thunderbird to enable this but I'm damned if I can find it..

  • I have an iPod G2 with a firewire 400 lead. how can I attach it to my new 13 inch Mac book Pro, is there a 400 to 800 firewire converter. USB lead wont work with the Macbook Pro. iPod used as an external drive to archive memory cards on the go.

My G2 iPod that I use as an external drive to archive memory cards on the go cannot link with my new 13" Macbook Pro cause it uses a firewire 400 lead. It will not work with a USB lead. Is there a firewire 800 ipod lead or converter available? Can any one shed some light on this please?

As far as I know, if a harddrive works with a Macpro, it should work with the Macbook: if your Macbook is low on power, plug in the AC adapter
If your Macbook has a firewire port, then it should be fine. BUt i would do somemore research first.

  • How do I attach file to the reply mail

    Hello!
I'm using iPad 3rd generation (ver. 5.1.1) and it's native mail client.
I've read how to attach file to the email. But it might work only if I create new email.
My problem is attaching a file to a reply email.
Is there any solution for this?

    Thanks for help!
From my experience I can notice that Apple has an excellent support team, but it doesn't listen it's consumers. This is 3rd generation iPad, but this feature still doesn't exist. I've had a better opinion about this company.
IMHO this feature is a basic function of any other mail program. About 7 years ago I had a simple mobile phone with mail client which supported this function, but costed about 100$. Now I hold in my hands device with price ten times higher but it's native mail client doesn't have this feature.
Different Android, Windows devices allow to do this, but iPad doesn't.

  • How do I attach photos to an e-mail as an attachment

I am trying to attach a photo to an e-mail from my Yahoo Account, when I click on attachment it does not allow to access the iphotos folder.
I have looked at sending photos direct from iphotos by e-mail and it seems to only allow you to inclue the photographs in the body of the e-mail and not as an attachment??

    Hello timbri,
Open iPhoto; select the photo you want to attach, then simply drag it onto the e-mail screen.  NOTE: You may have to move your iPhoto window a little in order to expose a portion of your mail screen, but as long as there's a llittle screen showing, you can drop your photo there.  You should also see a drop-down menu allowing you to choose the size of the photo frame being sent.  I've sent as many as four pix this way. I have os x 10.6.8, so I hope this works for you.

  • How to pull up contact when sending new mail

Is there anyway to show contacts when sending a new e mail.  Example on windows it will sow all contacts and then click on the ones you want to send to.  Is there anyway to do this using Macbook Pro with Lion 10,7.4

NOT to detract from what Carolyn said, which is correct, but if you wanted to see everyone you ever sent to, in menu at top of page  mail>window> previous recipients (you can see in vews by date,by name and you can search someone)
Also you can put folks into your address book easily if from mail>view>customize toolbar and then add to the top of an email page "add sender"
