How to I change an email back to one that was previously used.

I had an iTunes account that was hacked several years ago. How do I change my iTunes ID back to that email since that is my primary email and I just got an iPhone?

Just make her a new AppleID - https://appleid.apple.com
On her device, log out of iMessage with your AppleID, then log back in with her new AppleID. For iCloud, first go into the iCloud account settings and disable find my iPhone, then delete the iCloud account. Now add a new iCloud account using her new AppleID.
You both can continue to use the same AppleID in the iTunes and App stores if you wish to share purchases. If not, just scroll to the bottom of the feature page in the store, log out with your AppleID and log back in with her AppleID (she will need your AppleID and password to update anything purchased with your AppleID though).

I'm moving away from my former ISP and is trying to change my primary login e-mail (supplied from the ISP in question) for my Apple ID to a Gmail address.
The problem is that I have registered the Gmail address as one of my recovery e-mail addresses and now the system prohibits me from using it as primary login address, even though I have removed the Gmail address from the list of recovery addresses.
So, how should I do to change my primary login to the Gmail address? How do I remove the Gmail adress from my recovery addresses?

If you want to change your email, this is something that can be done from the eprint center website. Once you get to the website follow these steps:
Log into your eprint center account
Click change next to your email in the box that says eprint
Enter a new customized email in the box that pops up (the end automatically defaults to @hpeprint.com)
Click save
Don't forget after changing your email address to write it down so you will have a copy of it.

I called your support, the gentleman that helped me talked so fast I couldn't understand him. I asked him to repeat it he said it the same speed, couldn't understand him. Anyways, he went on to tell me that anything to do with iTunes gift cards are all automated online, but said he couldn't direct me because he didn't have the website up infront of him at that time. Poor customer support.
I love apple, but that was disappointing.

How do I change the default map to one that works. Apple maps nearly killed me today in Leicester as it tried to take me down 2 pedestrian areas, 1 no entry and told me to do a u turn about 6 times at no u turn junctions.

Need to change default map on iphone. The default maps app is dangerous - it wanted to take me down pedestrian areas and through no entries whilst trying to navigate in Leicester. It needs to be removed from my phone as it is a hazard. I clicked on a link in an email and the maps app was opened and so I used it to navigate. Big mistake. This app is a serious hazard!

I don't really want to get into a long debate here, but just to put in some background info. I travel a lot in the uk and have done for many years. For the last couple of years I have used either Nav free or waze as sat nav maps on my iphone. Whilst there has been some errors, they have been useable - and of course you have to use your common sense whilst using them.
On this occasion someone emailed an address to me in Leicester. I wanted to drive from on point in Leicester to this address that has been emailed to me. I clicked on the address in the email and it defaulted to the apple maps and plotted a route. It was about 1 mile away and told me it would take about 8 mins.
This was the worse journey I have experienced with a 'sat nav' - it tried to take me through 2 pedestrian areas and 1 no entry in that short journey. Clearly I didn't go I. The pedestrian areas or turn into the one way. However, the apple. Aps persisted to try and make me take these route, and I. The process kept urging me to take a u turn where it was clearly sign posted that it was illegal to do so.
In the end, I pulled over and switched to Waze - it directed me straight to my destination without any errors.
The point is, I am not talking about a mistake in the middle of no where. This is a major city in the UK - and fairly central ie near the city centre.
Generally I love Apple products and don't knock them as a company.
The original question was genuine- can I change the default mapping app so that I don't end up using the apple maps app again. It was a disaster like nothing I have seen before.
I now know that the answer is no.
Apple clearly need to sort this out.

Apps using an email for apple id that was never used.

I have apps on my phone that were downloaded using my current apple id. Often, too often, when these apps have updates, the want a password for an apple id based on an email address that I have never used for an apple id. This old email address is years old and predates my owning any apple product. Because of this I have no idea what password it might want. Secondly, why are these apps, some purchased on a valid apple id, change what account they are associated with?

If you scroll to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store on your phone you should see your currently logged in id - tapping on that should give you a popup so that you can sign out.
On your computer's iTunes, if you select the Apps part of your library where all your apps (not the phone's Apps tab that you use to select which apps to sync, update, remove from the phone)
(The icons that show will depend upon what you've selected via the '...' icon)
And select/highlight one of the apps that was asking for the old id on your phone, go 'get-info' (command-I on a Mac ; control-I on a PC) and select the File tab on the popup, that should show the account id that the app is tied to. Does that show the old account or current account ?

Numbers: how do I turn on the feature that fills the cell with typing that was previously used? The previous version had this feature. I could type the first letters of a name in a cell and the entire name would automatically appear.

I could choose the name/word to enter into the cell. This saved many strokes. If I was typing a word with only one like it previously entered, that word would appear, grayed, and I could simply tab to the next cell, automatically entering that word in that cell. Is this feature in this version of Numbers? The autofill tab 1)I can't turn it on and 2) it doesn't seem to do the same thing.

The developers failed to propagate that feature from version 2 to version 3. I believe it is on the short list of things to be restored in May 2014 or so.

Again, I'd like to export a photo album from my iphone to my mac. What is unique here is that the album was originally imported from another mac to my iphone. When I open iphoto on my mac it will import everything else but this particular album. It's from my old iphone that crashed but I was lucky enough to export the pics from my old phone to another mac and then import them to my new iphone. How do I change the email account for icloud on my iphone6 only. I don't want to change my ipad or my husband's iphone6. Currently all 3 devices have the same gmail account associated with them. I have created a new & separate apple id and I want that on my phone but I can't figure out how to delete his email from my phone.

To change iCloud accounts you have to go to Settings>iCloud, sign out, then sign back in with your other ID to create your new account. If you want to migrate a copy of the iCloud data to the new account, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save Image. If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out, choose Keep on My iPhone and provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone when prompted. Then sign back in with your new Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload the data to your new account. Once you are on a separate account you can go to iCloud.com and delete your husband's data from your account (and he can do the same with yours).
Just be aware that the current @icloud.com email address cannot be moved to the new account, nor can the current my photo stream album (which is why you need to save any my photo stream photos you want to keep to your iPhone before signing out of the existing account).
