I have setup wireless at home, but when I travel, how do I find another wireless network?
Depends on where you are. Most all hotels/motels have wireless. There are Internet cafes, libraries, Starbucks, and many other places providing WiFi service.
In your iPad's Network settings you will usually find displayed all detected wireless systems. Not all of them may be usable unless they provide free access or you have a paid access membership. You should find this discussed in the user manual:

How do i find the wifi network and password for iphone 4s
how do i find the wifi network name and passwordfor iphone 4s?
Well Netgear will not know your password. The factory default user name for netgear is usually admin and the factory default is password is password. Go to an internet browser and in the url windo type in 192.168.0.1 and if I am right a login window will appear. Try the factory defaults.

How can I delete a wireless network from my MacBoork Ai
How can I delete a wireless network from my MacBoork Air.
I had set up a WEP Network but I need to set up a WPA (personal) network now and i cant seem to change the WEP network to a WPA2 network.
Thank you for any help you can provide me.
LShapsThe MacBook Air will autodetect WEP and WPA security changes and should allow you to reconnect again. If the password stored in the Mac is wrong, it will ask you to enter it again.
With that said, to forget a network do the following:
- Go to the Apple Menu and select System Preferences
- Click on the Network icon
- Highlight the Airport / WiFi entry (sepending on 10.6 vs 10.7)
- Click the Advanced button at the bottom
- Make sue the Airport / WiFi tab is selected
- Click on the network name you want to forget
- Press the minus button at the bottom of the list.
You may also want to consider restarting if you are having this issue. -

The Airport Express is not finding my wireless network. I do not have any of the devices listed below. I have a Belkin wireless router. Can I still use Airport Express ( without plugging an ethernet cable into it) ? Any ideas for how to make it find my network ? It is sitting next to the wireless router-so is in range.
If you already have a wireless network in your home and want to extend its range, AirPort Express can help. Just place it in range of your primary base station — an AirPort Extreme, Time Capsule, or another AirPort Express — and near the area where you want your wireless connection. Launch the easy-to-use AirPort Utility app on your iOS device or Mac, and you’re mere minutes away from long-range Wi-Fi enjoyment.Hi - you can do what you want to do with AirPlay from your iPhone - but unfortunately it is not as easy as the people in the Apple store told you - your first problem is that you have a non Apple router - you cannot extend a non Apple router wirelessly with the Express - you can only join the network and connect an ethernet device to it - you can however connect via ethernet and have it create a wireless network of its' own - you can set this up from your iPhone or the XP - but this is a complicated setup and would involve many different discussion areas of this forum - therefore I would suggest that you use your 90 days of support and consult directly with Apple to do this - go to this link - http://www.apple.com/support/contact/

How can i access my wireless network?
how can i access my wireless network at home?
Does your iPad see your WiFi network - Settings>WiFi>Tap your network name, enter your password and tap join.
If the iPad isn't seeing the network, try rebooting the router - unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again. -
I have an ipad first generation. I am trying to connect to a linksys router and the ipad is not finding the wireless network. What do I need to do? Thanks for your help.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

I am in an internet cafe and my macbook pro can't find the wireless network available at the cafe. I have used this network before. I have restarted my machine several times too. help please
Change your router channel. Sometimes this is all you will have to do.
Power cycling the router. Read the router's user manual or contact their tech support for instructions.
System Preferences/Internet & Network/Network
Unlock the padlock
Locations: Automatic
Highlight Airport
Click the Assist Me button
In the popup window click the Diagnostic button.
System Preferences/Network- Unlock padlock. Highlight Airport. Network Name-select your name. Click on the Advanced button. Airport/Preferred Networks-delete all that is not your network.
Place a check mark next to "Remember networks this computer has joined." Click the OK button and lock the padlock. Restart your computer.

No internet connection (wireless)
Check to see if an extra entry is present in the DNS Tab for your wireless connection (System Preferences/Network/Airport/Advanced/DNS).
Delete all extra entries that you find.
Place a check mark next to "Remember networks this computer has joined."

Can't find *some* wireless networks
Hi
Have seen vaguely similar posts but couldn't quite follow. I've used my G4 powerbook to connect to a whole range of wireless networks using Airport and have never had a problem. However I was trying to connect to a wireless network at my local pub and couldn't do it. Airport couldn't find it, when I manually entered all relevant info (including password), it still wouldn't connect. Other laptop users, including others with Apples, don't seem to have a problem and they can't get my laptop to co-operate either. It can still find other wireless networks elsewhere with no trouble. Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks
Powerbook G4 Mac OS X (10.3.9)Have the other apple users connected to the "hotspot" in the past? If so, their mac's may "remember" the settings of the network.
The network hotspot, as a security measure, may not broadcast the SSID and you may need to enter it manually, provided the hotspot "posts" it or gives it to your when you make a purchase. (I've seen a number of hot spots either post it near the register of give it to you after making a purchase to prevent users just accessing it without being a consumer of their products)
The hotspot may also encrypt the network, which they will usually provide as well.
I hope this helps!
P.S. There are several "Widgets" available for download that will identify if a network is available, but may not be broadcasting their SSID, this will help confirm that you are getting the signal, but just not the details in order to log in, one can be found here: http://www.apple.com/downloads/dashboard/networking_security/airtrafficcontrol.h tml -

My new Canon Pixma 7250 wireless printercan no longer find my wireless network. (It worked fine until recently) I have a Yosemite 10.10.2. I've run diagnostics and the Canon LAN printer setup routine many times. Is there a solution? Can anyone help?
Turn of the MG and unplug the power cord. Leave it off for about a minute and then reconnect the power cord and turn the power back on. Wait while the device attempts to reconnect to your wireless network - the blue wifi symbol on the MG will flash and then stay on once it has connected. If it keeps flashing then you will have to reconnect the MG to your wireless access point via the control panel on the MG.
