I have accidentally closed a tab on safari and it is not in my recent history section in my ipod touch

All I can suggest is a reset
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

How do I get back my tabs after they were deleted during a recent update of Firefox?

I recently updated to Firefox 5, and in the process, Firefox has erased all the tabs I had open in Firefox 4, and I want to know how I can get them back. It was a routine update, and everything worked fine, except that when I opened Firefos 5, I just got the welcome message, nothing else. No tabs from my Firefox 4 browsing...

I can find them if I go back in the history, but they're from the last three four weeks, so it would take a long time, and I don't remember all of them. That's why I had them as tabs, but the tabs are gone, and I was kind of hoping that they could be restored...

After an update a few weeks ago, the tab feature that used to come up with boxes with my most used pages e.g. Facebook, Ebay, and many others just isn't there anymore. I can't find how to get this feature back. Please help.

Do you have the Test Pilot Addon? Test pilot was expirimenting with new tab pages recently, to determine which new tab page should make it into a later version of firefox (probably 9 or 10). I believe the study is over now, so they have removed the new tab page.

How do I get back info tab in itunes in Windows 8?

Just upgraded laptop ( now Windows 8) and tried 2 versions of itunes (the latest and an old 10.6.1.7 version) and on the music interface when click 'get info' for a track the 'info' 'video' and 'sorting' tabs are transparent and unable to click on them.
I use the info tab regularly to update personal stuff for tracks...and now it can't be used in Win 8????

Looks like the info tab has been returned. You still can't sync notes but maybe that is a work in progress. Hopefully another update and the ability to sync notes will be available.

Then the (App) tabs from that window are lost unless you can restore an older copy of the sessionstore.js file (Time Machine?) that has that lost window.

A new tab opens by default as a blank tab (about:blank).
If that isn't the case then an extension has changed that behavior.

I actually figured it out...I had to go to the iTunes Library Extras.itdb file and give myself permission to have full control. THEN, I could go and estore a previos version. Once I had done this, I got the same message for iTunes Library Genius.itdb . . . I did the same thing with it and Voila'!!

Set Yahoo as you home page, and set firefox to open the homepage when it starts. (Not to open previous pages).

The "Use custom settings for history" setting allows to see the current history and cookie settings, but selecting that setting doesn't make any changes to history and cookie settings. 
Firefox shows the "Use custom settings for history" setting as an indication that at least one of the history and cookie settings is not the default to make you aware that changes were made.

Am using Adobe RoboHelp, Version 10 and IE version being 10.
A hurdle :-
I have a application which has been developed in ASP .NET, Version 4.0. Help link has been created in this application wherein here the Start up page of index.htm has been linked to be read from the RoboHelp local project folder\!SSL!\Multiscreen_HTML5\desktop. All are working absolutely fine except when
I login into the above-said application -> click on the Help page -> the index.htm opens with Contents, Index, Glossary -> Am able to successfully perform any task by respective clickings
-> But I am not able to get back into my application when I click on the IE provided Back button (Alt+Left) -> Any amount of invoking Back button makes the system getting looped into this Start up page of index.htm only -> When I Close Tab (Ctrl + W) or Close ( X ) -> The window session gets closed and I have to repeat all by relogin once again.
How can I get back into my application aftermath invoking Start up page of index.htm ?
(I can always get back into the application easily by erasing those parts in the url which refers to this RoboHelp linkages – but this certainly looks non-polished work)

Hey Jeff, I used Internet Explorer 10.0.9200 and Google Chrome 26.0.1410. Alas - it is the same behavior.
(But Jeff : When I used Microsoft HTML Help as primary layout to generate chm file , My Help when launched from my Application opened in a new browser window and when I closed this Help browser window did not close my application. Looks like need to write few liner code to get this issue settled )

Opening in the side bar is the default for bookmarks that are created via a link or button on a website. 
You can check the Properties of a bookmark via the right-click context menu in the side bar (Ctrl+B; Cmd+B on Mac). 
In the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) you can click the More button in the Details pane at the bottom right. 
Make sure that "Load this bookmark in the side bar" is not selected.
