How to I get discontinued apps from device to device?

I have just purchased the 5s and can't get a couple apps to sync. The apps are legitimate apps downloaded from the app store that are no longer available on the app store. I still have them on my 4s, but they won't sync onto my computer so I can put them on my 5s.
Is there any way to get apps off one iphone to put them on another if they aren't available in the app store anymore??

The app was bought and paid for on the app store. I think it was a $1.99 app. It was removed from the app store within days of being put up there because apple found out it had a hidden Super Nintendo emulator in it. I didn't have a chance to back it up until it had already been removed from the app store. It seems that as soon as it's not available in the app store it isn't available to be backed up using iTunes.

After you sign in with your apple i-tunes account on all devices you have to
1.) Connect your I-phone, i-pad, i-pod to your computer
