How to I get my already existing iCloud account to work on my Mac?

I have already created an icloud account on my iphone and ipad but just updated my Mac to now have icloud. I tried to set up the account on my Mac but when i put in the email i already created it says it is being used already. Do I have to create a new one or can I still used my old one? I want all three devices to be on the same page.

It sounds like you are trying to create a new icloud account, not just logging into an existing account. When you type in your Apple ID and get that error, it's because you are trying to create an account using the same ID that is already being used in another account.
Go to Settings>iCloud and scroll to the bottom of the screen. If you are logged in, press the Delete button, then try logging in with the existing ID.
As for pics, the most secure way is to connect ipod to PC with USB and look at the Photos tab for your device in iTunes. Using Photo Stream is another way, but it doesn't always work, depending on conditions.

So if i want to add her in the family sharing, she's considered as an adult...
and if i want to create a "child" account from my iPhone, with an iCloud mail it's not possible because her iCloud's account already existe...

I just got a Samsung Galaxy mega and I used to have an iPhone 4 so now how do i transfer my pictures from my iCloud account onto my samsung? Is there an app for the iCloud that I can use or is there some other way that I can retrieve them? I have little knowledge of iPhone and Samsung so if there's something I'm not doing right please let me know! The easiest way to get them into your phone is to use Google Drive. I would assume that this is on the phone, and if you have a Google email account you have access to the drive. If you don't, it's free and will also get you sign-in to the Google Play Store for apps.
There is a application for Macs for the Drive, but I would recommend avoiding it as it's been known to cause trouble. Just go to the Drive from your GMail webpage and upload the photos. Then on your phone open the Drive and download the photos.

I deleted the other two notes. I check all notes and found that the three notes were deleted on both accounts. The only notes on this device are under On My iPad.
I went into system settings and tried to delete the Icloud account. The warning comes up: This will delete all IMAP notes on your device. Will this also delete the notes in On My iPad?

As far as I am concerned ICloud is a a pain in the *** and I want to get rid of it asap.

Your computer will automatically connect and disconnect from iCloud as it needs to, while it remains logged in to the account.
You should not log-out of iCloud in System Preferences on your Mac when shutting your computer down, or at any other time, as this will prompt you to remove the iCloud data from your computer (which you don't want).
Just leave iCloud signed in in System Preferences and forget about it.
If you need to change any of your preferences you'd need to be logged in anyway.
The only reasons to ever log out of iCloud are for troubleshooting purposes, or if you ever decide you never want to use iCloud again.

my daughters ipod was stolen a while back. i just found the log in. i have pictures of our family vacation on it and would really like to have them back.

Whichever folder(s) you have pictures in that update to the iPod, take them out of the folder. Next time you udate iPod, they will be taken off. The easiest thing to do is to use one folder just for iPod, and select just that folder in iPod options menu under the photos tab. That way it'll only update the pics you want.

You can however choose to install Windows either through Bootcamp, or using a virtual Machine package , and then run the Photo Explosion Deluxe Application inside the windows Environment.

How can I transfer "notes" from one icloud account to another, and other account questions

I currently have 2 icloud accounts. (In total I have 4 seperate apple ids somehow, 1 @me.com, 1 @icloud.com, 1 @gmail.com, and 1 apple id. But that's a problem I'll talk about later).
Right now, all of my notes got deleted from my iphone, but they are on the icloud account A: (@me.com account's icloud.) When I reconnect this account to my iphone, the notes are there. However, when I turn off note syncing in my iphone's icloud settings, I'm not prompted to "keep data on iphone" (like I am prompted with contacts). Instead, they are just deleted from the iphone. So there's no way to connect the icloud account A, download the data, and reconnect icloud account B.
How can I get these notes from icloud account A to icloud account B (or just getting it from icloud account A to my iphone.)
And while I'm at it, how can I get the @icloud account that was linked with the @me.com account to get linked to the @gmail.com account.

Let me rephrase my comment... I used Windows to sync my data without icloud, we decided to switch to mac and purchased a $2000 osx driven machine only to find out apple has "secretly" disabled mobile sync services and replaced it with icloud syncing. There was NO documentation stating this fact before my purchase, it was only realized when users started running into syncing issues that apple disclosed mavericks no longers uses mobile syncing services and "requires you to use icloud to sync device information" on this forum.
They removed a integral part of my privacy without telling me, or warning me, before i spent money on non-refundable merchandice.
These are not mindless, I was forced into mavericks when i purchased a new mac... All other versions of OSX provide modile syncing services.
And I was not threatening lawsuit, i was stating a thought that this leavs apple open to a lawsuit for people who want their data kept private, they are FORCING the use of icloud now.

If you didn't create an iCloud account on an iOS device or Mac, you don't have one. You can't create an account on a PC. If you were charged for an iCloud storage upgrade without having an account, contact the Apple online store at the bottom of this page for a refund.

Settings>icloud, scroll to bottom of screen and tap Delete Account (this disconnects the device from icloud but doesn't delete any data on icloud or on other devices).
If you then want to sign back in using a different ID, do so on the same screen.
I also strongly suggest that you and your wife use different icloud accounts, otherwise all your devices will have the same data on them, same emails, reminders, etc. Most likely not what you want.

If you want to be able to access your entire music library from iCloud, you'll have to subscribe to iTunes Match (http://www.apple.com/itunes/itunes-match/). Music purchased from the iTunes store is already in iCloud as it can be redownloaded at any time (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519).

This usually happens because iCloud only keeps photo stream photos for 30 days (even though your last 1000 photos will remain on your phone until deleted). When you enabled photo stream on your Mac you only received photo stream photos from the last 30 days.
To get older photos to your Mac, create a shared photo stream containing them and invite yourself as a subscriber (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmc0cd7e99). The be sure you check Shared Photo Streams in iPhoto>Preferences>Photo Stream. You can then import them to your iPhoto library by opening the shared photo stream album in iPhoto, then going to Edit>Select All, Control-clicking on any of the selected photos and selecting Import.
