How to I get my custom ringtones to play again?
Genius bar helped me restore photos and videos that didn't make it through last week's Icloud install on the new Iphone.
Only my default ringtone will play, It's an Itune purchased ringtone. All my other custom ringtones (some purchased, some that came with the Iphone) are still
loaded with the appropriate contacts, but all of those ring as the default.
I've tried resaving the tunes or changing the purchased ones to ones originated in the Iphone but anything marked custom rings as default.
Any suggestions?
Other weird things happened too since last night's erasing of the phone to restore to last week's backup...airplane mode was on when I woke up, and wi fi turned itself off overnight.

You should have copied the complete iTunes Library, including the iTunes Library.itl file, which, as far as I know, contains all the Play Counts from the existing (old) iTunes and pasted that into your new computer.
Again, as far as I understand it, the total Play Count is not held on the Classic. If it was, it would not include plays within the iTunes Library. All the iPod does is remember how many plays since the last sync and tell iTunes to increase the Play Count by that number.

Hi everyone! I got the Samsung Reality, and -sadly- the Data Package that is requiired to go with it. I don't have any texting plan, but I want to use a custom ringtone (from my computer). I know we can send a text message to ourselves using free websites such as Ventones, but that would mean i have to pay for the picture Text message because I have no texting plan.
Is there another way I can get custom ringtones onto my phone without sending a text message or downloading them from the APP? There are some korean ringtones I found online that I would like to use on my phone.
I was dissapointed that the songs I put onto my phone could not be used as my ringtone. Could I email myself with an attachment of the song file (usually 30~35 seconds long), and set it as my ringtone? Or is that virtually impossible (if its impossible to do it without texting, how much would a text message with a song attached to it cost me)? Any help would be appreciated!Picture messages without a texting plan are 25 cents each. Better than the $1.99 or $2.99 from the online store....
Attaching to an email would not work as mobile email does "do" attachments.
Sending to your online album will use text messages, I believe. Better to use a micro SD card, save to the card, and transfer them to your computer that way. -
How can I get my purchased music to play again?
I recently updated my iPod 4g to the newest version of software. everything has showed up EXCEPT my purchased music. It is shown in my music and in iTunes, but it won't play. Instead, it will skip to the next playable song. Any solutions?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

You must create the ringtones. google will find several free ways to do this.
It will then appear in the "Ringtones" section of your itunes "Library".
Then you select it to sync under the ringtones tab. -
My drive failed on my iMac and I had to get a new drive but now my iTunes music is gone including all the CD's I added to iTunes, and all of my custom Playlists. All of that stuff is still on my iPhone 4, but how do I get it all onto my iMac again? I have CD's on my phone that i no longer have the physical copies of so i can't just re-download them all, plus it would take forever! Can access limitations other than Administrator / non-Administrator be set on Workspaces
Is there a time limit on how long a document remains in storage

What is the pricing for a plan that would include everything we need; FormsCentral, SendNow, Workspaces, Adobe Pro etc.

Please understand that Workspaces is a free service; Adobe doesn't charge for it. As a result, it is not possible to provide 1:1 support. But I will try to answer your questions:

Interesting. Comes with? you didn't have either before? Paragon is commercial and is now v. 10.0, they were the only one keeping updated and was supporting 10.7.4. I would not enable more than one.
For writing to HFS Paragon has theirs but probably give the nod to MacDrive there.
I never do an upgrade to a new OS over the old system, I backup (clone) and format the drive with the new OS and do the install so whatever is there I know is clean and also to keep from carrying around leftovers from years and systems past.
I would assme Paragon is limited. Try their site and knowledge base?

I purchased 3 ringtones in Itunes. It put one under ringtones and the others listed under music icon as recently purchased. How do I get them under ringtones?
Tones is the new name for Ringtones. If the entry is missing in the left-hand column of iTunes then enable it from Edit > Preferences > General tab.
If your existing tones are not syncing properly to your iOS device then uncheck the option to Sync Tones from the Tones tab when the device is connected, sync the device, check the option and sync again.

Why can't I use my VTone I just purchased from Verizon Market as my phone ringer? It game me an option to mark it as my default ringer but when I go to 'settings' it only gives me the same generic ringtones, how do i get my new ringtone to use?

Did you purchase the ring tone on our website or on the phone?
If it was purchased online the ring tone is sent to you in a message and you need to save the ring tone first http://bit.ly/PKUfUg and it is saved as a ring tone you can go in and set it as your default ring tone http://bit.ly/R5Xa4o.
If the ring tone was purchased on the phone you just need to go into your ring tone to set it up http://bit.ly/R5Xa4o.

When iTunes was upgraded to the lastest (11.0), many of of songs/music/audiobooks were deleted! I tried syncing my phone to my computer to get them back, but many of those were deleted too! How do I get my purchases back to play them???
It shows on iTunes SOME of my past purchases, but not all (looks like around 30-40% of purchases). It shows on my apple id purchase history everything i have purchased; but in iTunes, some not all of these show up. What does show up is kind of "greyed out", so NOTHING will actually play. I have followed the steps in the iTunes support about how to redownload past purchases, but this dowsn't work, as the download button is also "greyed out".
I am extremly angry and upset about this issue. Could someone please help / advise re how to fix????I'm hoping that this may be just a misunderstanding somewhere.

How can I get my ES2 loops to play correctly? I keep getting the message that the audio is not found when I drag the loops from my audio browser even though they play fine in the preview.
It's exactly as I stated. Whenever I try to drag these kinds of loops (ESX24 / software instrument loops? the ones marked in green with the white music note next to them) from the loop browser into the timeline a message comes up saying Audio Not Found for that loop. And a new track is created automatically when loops are dragged into the timeline, so I'm not creating some other random / synth instrument track so I'm not sure what the deal is... But perhaps I'll try creating a software instrument track first and then drag the loop into that track and see what happens - maybe there's something with the default settings that automatically creates audio tracks whenever loops are imported?
