How to i get my one line email address from a form to dissapear from my monitor screen?

Hi,
I have a iMac running OS X Yosemite ver 10.10.1
my iMac is Mid 2011, running 16 BF Ram
I have seen an annoying floating email address from a form showing up on my monitor screen, even though the form was closed.
Even if I move any open windows, the email address is still showing on my screen.
Anyone have any idea on how I may delete this image or whatever it is?  Thanks.  Donna

Try relaunching the Finder,  ➙ Force Quit.
Otherwise reboot.

When I look up email addresses in Outlook 2010 on my pc, it only finds cell phones.numbers.    How do I get it to find email addresses automatically?

Addl question:  when I DO send an email from the address book, they are all coming back with the msg:
The following recipient(s) cannot be reached: & None of your e-mail accounts could send to this recipient.
But when I type in the exact same address manually, it goes thru just fine.

  • HT5312 how do i get to the rescue email address page?

My young son cannot remember his security answers and I do not understand how to get to the rescue email address page.  please help

You need to ask Apple to reset the security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

  • HT4436 how do i get a different iCloud email address or change my existing one?

my boyfriend set up my iCloud account with an iCloud email with my full name in it and mispelled my middle name.
how do i change it or get a new one?

Once you have created an iCloud account and chosen an @icloud.com address to go with it you can't change the address (short of creating an entirely new account).
However, all is not lost. You can add up to three 'email aliases' - these are additional addresses (not accounts) which deliver into the same inbox as the main account. (In fact it's a good idea to give out alias addresses, rather than the main address, because if they attract spam you can easily change them.) (New aliases can only be @icloud.com ones; @me.com addresses cannot now be created.)
You should be aware before you start that once you've created an alias you cannot turn that address into a full iCloud account, move it to another account, or reactivate it if you delete it.

  • HT5312 I changed my email address and apple is ok wih it but iCloud still has my old email address and is not recognising either my original password or my new password. How can I get my iCloud account email address corrected and also get my new password

    Hi
I changed email addresses but iCloud sill has my previous address registered. It also is not recognising either my original password or my new password. How can I get my new email address into the iCloud system, and also lodge a new password with them?
I'm using an ipad and all else is ok but not icloud.

Welcome to the Apple community Ross.
If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID and that ID is a previous version of your current ID, not an entirely different one.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details and some other circumstances.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device. It may take a short while to remove the account.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

  • How to I get rid of old email addresses connected to my Apple ID?

Apple is always serving up old email addresses and asking for passwords. How do I delete these old email references on my apple account?

Apple is always serving up old email addresses because you have downloaded apps with more than one Apple ID. All apps, all paid and free apps include DRM protection which is tied to the Apple ID that was used to download the apps. It is not possible to merge or transfer apps downloaded with one Apple ID to another.

  • How can I get my hp eprint email address from a remote location?

I am currently away from home and need to print something for my wife.  I have tested out eprint before but never tried it from a remote location.  I cannot recall the email address for my printer.  Is there any way to retrieve this without being at the printer?  I imagine that I had to sign in to the eprintcenter website to test this so alternatively, is there a way to retrieve the email address I used to set up my eprintcenter account?  I am offered a way to retrieve the password but that doesn't help much if I cannot recall my eprintcenter account's email.
    Thanks,
    Jeff

    Hi Epoclaen,
I see that you are trying to locate your ePrint email address.  The only way this can be done would be to log into your ePrint account so it would require you to remember your ePrint log on information.  The email address that's used to create an account is usually your personal email address.  I would try using your personal email address to log into the account.  Let me know how it goes.

  • How do i get a new rescue email address?

I forgot the answers to the security questions as well as the rescue email address associated with my account. I want to make a purchase but because it is my first time,I have to answer the security questions.

    Hey there,
Thanks for the question. You'll need to contact Apple Support if you no longer have access to your rescue email address:
If you forgot the answers to your Apple ID security questions
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6170
If you can't reset your security questions
Contact Apple Support in either of these circumstances:
              - You don't see the link to send a reset email, which means you don't have a rescue address.
              - You see the link to send a reset email, but you don't have access to email at the rescue address.
A temporary support PIN isn't usually required, but Apple may ask you to generate a PIN if your identity needs to be verified.
    Thanks,
    Matt M.

  • How do I get rid of old email addresses that pop up when I want to send an email?

When I try to send cerate an email and enter a contact, old email addresses pop up for the contact that are no longer current. I would like to delete them so only the most current address pops up but I can't find a way to delete them.

There is no facility for this in the Mail app.  Over time, they will move to the bottom of the list, so they sort of go away on their own, but there isn't a delete option.
