How to I get my video from my Ipad to my Mac?
I have some videoes on my Ipad witch I want to put on my Mac, how do I do this?
While I don't use a Mac, I belive you connect the device to the computer via USB and then import the file using a file utility similar to what you do when you import digital pictures. I'm guessing that the Mac has something like this?

I learned that my ipad's images are recognized only if I plug my ipad DIRECTLY into the tower of the desktop. My images are NOT recognized if the ipad is plugged into a hub. That's unfortunate considering how few ports are on the tower.

In finder, locate the video, then drag & drop it on iMovie's icon. -

Did you not have a Time Machine backup of your Macbook Pro or a clone backup on an external HD?
To copy music from the iPhone to your Mac -- except purchases from the Apple Store -- you need third-party software.

Did you backup your device after you took the video but before you deleted it? If so, restore your device with that backup. If not, then there's no way to retrieve that video.

Pretty much what the quetions states - "How can I get imported pictures from my ipad 3 to my laptop?"
I've imported a load of pics from my Nikon D40 to my iPad 3 (ios 6.1) using the iPad camera connector.
So far so good.
However I cannot sync the pictures to my laptop (win 7). I would like to be able to keep the albums I have created, and get them to the laptop too.
If a restore was required I might lose thee pics.
Any advice or apps recommended to help me?

Steve PotterTo copy photos to your computer that were copied to it via the camera connection kit (or taken with it or saved from emails/websites) then see this page (as far as I know you can't copy their albums) - on a PC you can use the windows camera wizard
