How to i increase font size on 5510 printer using Windows 7

HP 5510 printer prints microscopically small. Using Microsoft Windows 7. No matter what I try to copy off the Internet.
Copying received e-mails and such I get a half-ways decent legible font. Copying things like travel airfare and cruise information and such is a pain. I normally have a magic touch. Looks like this problem requires more than that. For all practical purposes this printer, for print-outs at least, is not worth having despite its quality ratings and raves.
 Heeeelp!

Hi,
If you are mainly printing from teh internet, you could try downloading the HP Smart Print software - this should make the printing experience from the web much better.
You'll find a link to a free download of the software here.

    Preferences/Compsing/set to Rich Text (only then you can use bold etc).
    Then Rightclick the toolbar in Mail, and clcik Customize the toolbar.
    Put the icons (with or without text) that you want on your toolbar.

  • How do you increase font size in Bridge using windows 7 and a 4k monitor?  It appears as though this issue has come up previously but there is no answer.

    How do you increase font size in Bridge using windows 7 and a 4k monitor?  It appears as though this issue has come up previously but there is no answer.

    Unfortunately this will require some new programming by Adobe and there's no way to know when that will happen. In the meantime, the only option I think you have available to you is to change your resolution so that your monitor is using fewer pixels per inch.
    Kinda blows the whole value of the newer monitor but I suppose you can switch back and forth from low res when you are working in Bridge to high res when you are working in PS.
    Sorry, but for the time being, that's about it.

  • The font size in the menu bar is too small (unreadable). How can I increase font size. I have a new Samsung PC with high resolution screen.

    Hi the fnt size in the menu bar is too small (unreadable). How can I increase the font size. I have a new Samsung PC with high resolution screen.

    You must mean Photoshop Elements 11, not Photoshop.
    There is no ability to change the size of the menu font in PSE 11.
    note to mod:
    Please move to the Photoshop Elements forum.

  • How can I increase font size on LR windows?

    I would estimate the font size in my LR (and all Adobe windows) is a five. It's the same on all three of my computers, all of which are operating on Windows 8.
    The last time I raised this issue, I was told to change the screen resolution -- pretty poor workaround considering all my other apps operate at the recommended screen resolution for the three computer and one additional monitors I use.
    How can I increase the font size to make Adobe applications  usable on my computers?

    Hi,
    I also use Win 8.1 and I have a high DPI 13" screen that is at 1920x1080 resolution and it is satisfactory although small.
    LR (5.7 current) will not support screens with greater resolution unless you have razor sharp eyes.
    We just need to hope that the next release (6) whenever it comes has native support for high DPI screens.

  • How do I increase font size on the Home Page and E-Mail messages screens?

    I just downloaded Firefox and made it my default browser as I am having so many problems with IE 9. I am old and gray-headed and not techy. I would like to view my home page (Yahoo.com) and my E-mail correspondence in at least a size 12 Font. I went through all the option lists I could find with font size and think I saved, but nothing has happened to help me increase the font. I replied to an e-mail and set the font size at 12 but it is still as tiny as this message.
    I have tired, dry eyes. Can you help me, please?

    It isn't an issue. It's been that way since they came out with the first notebook computer. If this was so critical to your decision then why did you not check it out at an Apple Store first? When you buy sight unseen, then any problems you encounter not due to factory defects are your problems.
    You can try zooming the higher resolution scheme or look at what's available to you in Accessibility preferences.

  • Increase font size of a print out

    Hi,
    We neet to print one ABAP report in landscape. The font is very small to be visible. So, we need to increase the font.
    Currently while printing on a local computer, the format its using is X_65_255.
    Please suggest me what has to be done to increase the font size to get the report clearly visible.
    Thanks,
    Sailesh K

    Right!!  This will happen, this is why I suggest to shorten the size of the report,  get rid of gaps in the columns, get rid of un-needed columns, etc.  This is the only way to get the font size to increase, because the system wants to show all the data in the report, so it shrinks the font to accomodate the  255.  A 132 format looks very good on an 8 1/2 X 11 sheet in landscape.  The font is a very good size, as you increase the columms, the font will decrease.  Do you understand why it is this way?  Think of it this way, if you need to put 500 characters across the page, what do you do?  Shrink the font, right?  This is what the system is doing when going with larger number of character columns.  If you want to get the report to a nice readable font size, you must bring the format down to 132 characters across.

  • How can I modify font size in selected text, using CS6 of Dreamweaver please?

    For some unknown reason, I see that coding on some of my pages has the unwelcome <SMALL> or </SMALL> tags present in some places.   Here's an example of what I'm talking about:
    </SMALL></B></FONT><B><SMALL>para nuestros foros</SMALL></B></FONT></TD>
    I sometimes manually delete each such presence that I see, but it's tedious to do so.   Nevertheless I don't see a feature on Dreamweaver CS6 that enables me to change selections', as opposed to entire pages', fonts and their corresponding sizes.    Perhaps Dreamweaver's Modify feature has the desired option tucked away in there somewhere, but I haven't seen it.   Any thoughts, please?

    The code you are showing is all old deprecated stuff. DWCS6 would not write that. Is this old code that you are trying to update?
    </SMALL></B></FONT><B><SMALL>para nuestros foros</SMALL></B></FONT></TD>
    The <font></font>, <small></small> tags have been replaced by styling with css.
    So your code might look like:
    <td>para nuestros foros</td>
    and the css (which goes in the <head></head> section of your page OR a linked css stylesheet) looks like:
    <style>
    td {
    font-size: 12px;
    font-weight: bold;
    color: #ccc;
    </style>
    If you just want to target a specific piece of text in a <td> table cell you can do this:
    <td><span>para nuestros foros</span></td>
    <style>
    td span {
    font-size: 16px;
    font-weight: bold;
    color: #000;
    </style>
    Sounds to me like you need to read up on styling elements with css.

  • Apple Mail (Mavericks), Viewing size of list is too small.how do you increase the size of the email message list.  The font is too small, I can hardly read them.

    In Apple Mail, using Mavericks, how do you increase the size of the email message list that displays on the left side of the screen?
    The font size is so small.
    Thanks.

    Thank you for responding.  After investigating and checking further, it was clear that only one of your suggestions changes the font size of the list of emails, also called the In-box.  And that is the display resolution.
    However, changing the display resolution affects the dots per inch of everything, everywhere and makes it larger.
    Given the high end fee Apple charges for their products, and the generally well developed software they provide, it is hard to imagine they have not corrected this obvious slight of effort on the inbox text. At times Apple's "one-size-fits-all" and "it's our way or no way" mentality astounds me and makes me want to run back to Microsoft.
    Evidently this is a well known mistake, which has yet to receive any attention.
    Again, thank you for your effort and assistance on my behalf.

  • I WIH TO KNOW HOW TO INCREASE FONT SIZE

    I have CS4 Extended version of photoshop and due to eyesight problem I am now having trouble reading headings such as file, edit etc on the menu bars and also headings noting details of the thumbnail prints. Can someone explain to me in detail how I can increase the size of the font in these sections.
    Any help appeciated
    Regards Stack

    Adobe is still "working on the problem in cooperation with Microsoft, and no time line is available".
    There is no satisfactory solution at the moment. One method is to reduce the resolution of your screen - but that leaves you with a fuzzy looking display and reduces your workspace a lot.
    Another is a hack that will scale the entire thing up, but it's not ideal either.
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/6004501
    Photoshop users have been asking for this very basic GUI feature for at least a decade now, and it is still unresolved - hopefully this will be solved sooner rather than later.
    And when it is solved you can be assured only CC and perhaps CS6 will get patched - no luck for older versions.
    A third solution is to purchase a large sized television (42" or so) and use that. Or use the built-in magnifier function in Windows.
    Yes, a bit of a silly situation, really.
