how do i put my itunes accont on all my devices?

Right-click any song, locate it, navigate up until you come to the iTunes folder, and move that. This will not transfer iTunes Store authorization or rented movies.

Install iTunes 9.2.1 on your computer. If the device's requirements specify iTunes 10 or newer, you need to purchase Mac OS X 10.5 on DVD.

  • HT2291 I installed Itunes on mu laptop.I down;oaded some music. The hard drive on that computer crashed. How do i get my Itunes library from the other computer to put on my new computer?

How do i get my Itunes library from my crashed hard drive to put on my new computer? The old computer had Windows Vista and the new computer has Windows 8.

It will only be where you put it.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion.  Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to backup ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod.  File>Transfer Purchases.

  • How can I put my itunes library on my Airport Time Capsule 3TB and still play thru Apple TV?

I am trying to free up space on my 1TB iMac and would like to put iTunes/burned movies/music to Airport Time Capsule 3tb. At the same time I would like tobe able to play said media through my Apple TV.

Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings:  Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive.  Open iTunes and immediately hold down the option (alt) key (shift on Windows) so you get a prompt to select a library, then guide it to the 'iTunes Library.itl' file in the moved iTunes folder.

  • How do I put my iTunes library on to a flash drive?

I am about to get a laptop (Dell, not sure which kind, Windows 7) and want to transfer my iTunes library from my old piece of **** desktop (XP) to said laptop. I don't feel like doing it with 10 or 11 cd's (my library takes up about 7.41 GB) and want to know how I can get my library (actual audio files AND song info!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) on to a, say 8 GB flash drive to transfer it to the laptop. Thanks.

  • How do I put my iTunes library onto an external hard drive and accessible?

I am thinking of investing in external hard drives to hold my itunes library and then streaming this using a streamer. Does anyone else do this. I am not sure how this would wirelessly or over ethernet. Ideally wireless since I don't have many ethernet ports in the house

IMHO, a NAS connected to your router would fit the bill perfectly.
    Ideally wireless
if your network is wireless-n capable, it should work fine. however, i have all my gear hardwired to my network and thus have no hands-on experience using wireless.
I don't have many ethernet ports in the house
    there are ethernet switches.

  • How do I make my iTunes library available to other users on the same pc?

Thank you Joe - I tried this but it's only showing a teensy amount of music - the stuff on the second users account as opposed to the giagntic library on the 'main' account. I actually went to a Genius Bar and they said that apple doesn't really want you to share music between accounts - parents don't want to hear their kids music etc. Which seemed strange, but it might be the case sadly   Thanks anyway!

  • I had to put my computer back to when I got it how do I get my itunes library back

I had to recover my computer back to when I bought it.   I  need to put my ITunes library of all the music I had back into my ITunes.
I downloaded ITunes again into my computer but I need what I had in it back.
    How is this done?

Restore the songs from a backup, or reload them from the original source; for iTunes Store music, use these instructions to redownload them through the iCloud if doing so is free in your country.

  • I just purchased a Macbook, iPad, and iPhone and I am trying to sync my iTunes library from my Windows laptop.  How can I sync my iTunes library to all devices?

I just recently purchased a MacBook Pro (13 inch with Retina display), an iPad Air 2, and an iPhone 6 plus.  Before these purchases, I was using a Windows 7 laptop to manage my iTunes library and iTunes purchases.  I am in need of syncing my iTunes library on my iPod classic (160 GB) with all of my new Apple devices.  How can I sync my iTunes library with all of my new devices?

Devices can only sync to one library at a time. You can, however, have multiple copies of libraries on different computers though it can be tricky making sure they are always synchronized.  You can put your Windows iTunes on your Mac.
Moving a library: Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings:  Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its sub-folders and files) intact to the other drive.  Hold down the option (alt) key (shift on Windows) and open iTunes.  At the prompt to create or choose a library choose the copied iTunes folder.
When this is to a new computer put the copied iTunes folder in the default location of Macintosh HD > Users > *User Name* > Music  then you don't even need to start with the option key held down, iTunes will automatically look for it there.  (Make sure there isn't anything already in the iTunes folder there that you want to keep since you will be replacing it with the one you are moving.)

  • How do I create an iTunes library on an external hard drive?

I have a MacBook Pro running OS10.6.8 and iTunes 10.3.1.
I have simply run out of hard drive space on my laptop.
I want to create a secondary iTune library on an external hard drive.
(I know how to create a new iTune Library - it ends up in my Music folder on my laptop hard drive).
    So how do I:
    a) create or move this folder to an external hard drive, and
    b) once done, how do I move my video files (television programs and movies) from my laptop iTune folder to the external hard drive?
    Thank you for any assistance.

no need to create a secondary library - too troublesome, IMHO. you can spread your library over as many drives you can connect to your Mac (wired or wirelessly):
    iTunes > preferences > advanced.
point iTunes media folder location to the external
on the same tab, ensure the copy files ... when adding option is checkmarked
    okay out of preferences
highlight the content to be moved in iTunes and right-click
select consolidate files from the pop-up menu
wait for the process to finish
when done, you may delete the original files from your boot drive.
alternatively, you could move the whole shabang to the external HD:
copy the entire iTunes folder (not just the iTunes music or media folder) from <MacintoshHD>/users/<yourname>/music to the external, launch iTunes while holding the option(⌥) key, click on choose library when prompted, and select the iTunes folder you copied to the external.
when done, be sure to point iTunes media folder location to the external so that new additions to your library will be put there. also, you need to make sure the external is mounted on your desktop before you fire up iTunes.
