How to I remove the extra page in pages?

I created a custom template in pages on my iPad2 and pages threw in an extra page at the bottom. I'm using this to send as an email newsletter, I don't want there to be an extra blank page. Anyone know how to fix this? I've tried everything I can think of.

If using Clay's suggestion changes the formatting of the document in some way - you can try this as well.
Sometimes word processing apps want to throw in an extra page at the end of a document because you have hit the absolute limit on the document size. I see this in Word and Pages files.
Try increasing the document depth/length just a little bit in the file and see if that helps. But first create a duplicate file that you can mess up and not have to worry about.
Launch Pages. Tap on the Edit button in the upper right corner and all of the thumbnails will start to wiggle. Tap on the document that you want to duplicate and then tap on the + sign in the upper left corner to duplicate the file.
Open the copied file. Tap on the wrench icon in the upper right and select Document Setup. In the setup window - Drag the header section up a little bit and/or the footer section down a little bit and then tap Done. See if the copied document dumps the unused second page now.
If that didn't work the first time - keep extending the margins until the second page is gone.
