The header is "accept-language"
You can get it via
request.getHeader("accept-language");
You can use request.getHeaderNames() to give you an enumeration of all the headers sent by the browser, so you can see them and the values.
Here is an extract from a test page I use every once in a while that prints out useful information. This bit prints out request headers (using JSTL)
You can just drop it into a jsp page (don't forget to import the JSTL tag library) and it will show you all the request headers.

How to change the iPad interface language from Chinese to English?

On my iPad's 'Settngs' software I was selecting Chinese and Arabic keyboards to enable input in those languages which I am learning and went on to activate those languages in other settings also. This somehow changed the interface language to Chinese and now program names and menus in 'Settings' program are all in Chinese which I cannot understand and thus cannot go back to English. How to change to English language without having to restore or reset my iPad as I do not want to loose the data in it.

I have Mountain Lion OS Install CD downloaded onto my external hard drive, how do I use this to upgrade from Leopard

Current computer that I just bought used is operating on Leopard 10.5.8
I have Mountain Lion OS X CD installation files downloaded on my external hard drive from another Mac that I have owned.
How do I use my external HD to download and Install Mountain OS X wizard.
Is the only way to do this to buy a copy of snow leopard and then once upgrading to that, plug in my external HD and then access the Mtn install file as I would if I had the installation CD?
When I try to access the install file from my external HD, i get to the installation window and then when I am to select a hard drive to install it on I receuve a red exclamation mark error that says it can not be written to the HD. Why is this? Because I'm not on snow leopard but rather leopard?

As you have the installer on a DVD, you can do a trick that consists in formatting the hard drive, and then, install Mountain Lion.
First, make a backup of your files with Time Machine > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1427 I recommend Time Machine because it will be easier to restore your files later.
Then, insert the DVD with Mountain Lion and hold the C key while your Mac is starting, so you will see a window with different options. Open Disk Utility, choose Macintosh HD in the sidebar, go to Erase tab and erase the drive.
After erasing the drive, you can install Mountain Lion. Close Disk Utility and install it. During the initial setup, it will ask you to restore your files, so plug the external drive with the backup and follow its steps. Note that PowerPC apps aren't compatible

Install left problems HOW CAN I GET BACK TO TIGER FROM LEOPARD?

so i upgraded from tiger to leopard, then i had a few problems, i.e. itunes would quit everytime i tried to delete a podcast, or editing multiple song info would make it crash. My ms word continously crashes as well as ichat.
So since i really need this maching working for school, can anyone tell me how to get back to tiger?
i tried an archive install and that did not work, i also tried creating a user acount and i know the problem lies within my primary user account, not other newly created accounts, i also tried removing cache and some plists so it would rebuild but still same problem.
So, CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO GET BACK TO TIGER WITHOUT LOSING ANY OF MY DATA? PLEASE?

I'm a producer and I own a I mac that i bought last august 07, that came with tiger and I life 06 or 07 on it. I recently had it serviced due to a kernal panic and the guy installed leopard, leopard doesn't come with i life and i really need i movie hd 6 again, what can i do???!! I still have the mac osx re-installation cd's that came in the box and my brother has a mac book pro with tiger on it, is it possible to use a firewire connection to transfer i life/i movie hd 6 from his to mine...i just need to know what my options are? I've only been using mac for a year and i'm totally stressed. Please help.

Using your brother's Mac to copy programs violates the Software Agreement. You have iLife on the installer disks that came with your Mac. You may need a program like Pacifist to extract it from the disk.
As a footnote: the repair guy should not have installed Leopard. You have no Leopard disks in case you need to do a reinstall or run Repair Disk from Disk Utility.

How do i clean install and Downgrade from Lion to Snow Leopard?

Hello I want to sell my Mac Book. Lion already did not run well. Therefore I want to install snow leopard back on it and I want to wipe the computer. But it does not work. When I start the computer with the snow leopard and hold the c and apple button then there is only a white screen. I cannot delete the hard drive with the regular disc utilities program and apple r also does not work. What do I do wrong? Can someone help me here?

It's C on start, not cmd (apple) + C.
Is the Snow Leopard disc the original that shipped with the Mac?
The retail SL disc is only 10.6.3 so won't boot any Mac that shipped with 10.6.3 or later.
It is possible to install SL on an external HD and update it to 10.6.8, then boot to it by holding opt (alt or ⌥) on start up and selecting the external from the list. Erase the internal HDD from the external's Disk Utility (select the top line - the one with the manufacturer's name and the size of the drive).
Then use the restore function in DU to clone the SL installation from the external back to the internal.

HELP! HOW DO I KEEP LOGIC WHEN UPGRADING FROM TIGER TO SNOW LEOPARD!

So I use a later macbook but have another slightly older one (got it in 2007) that kinda kicked the bucket. I'm now able to use it again (with a new setup). I have Logic express (an older version) but the macbook is running that last version of tiger before leopard. I want to upgrade to snow leopard (which i've learned I can from tiger directly for the low price) but I don't want to lose logic since I payed for it and don't have the install discs anymore.
I don't mind getting rid of everything else but I want to keep the actual program on the comp and just run it in SL. What specifically do I have to do (as far as backing up and all that) to CLEANLY upgrade from tiger to SL but keep logic? I'll have an external HD by the time I'm ready so keep that in consideration.

I have never used Logic Express so I can't help you but if you to the Logic Express Forum and repost over there you might be able to find someone who knows about Logic Express to help you.

I believe the proper way is to use your Leopard DVD to erase the HD. I would perform a full erase (include freespace), then boot, holding down the "C" key and install Panther. However, at this point you should seriously consider Tiger. I am presuming your PowerBook is a PPC (non-Intel) OS. The commercial Tiger CDs will install on your system. I upgraded my G5 from Panther, which it came with, to Tiger when it came out. Tiger is far superior to Panther.
