How to identify OSB or OSB Express i am currently running ?

I noticed both of them are installed by the same media (i am talking about v10.3.0.3.0 , at least in the same size) .
Actually i want to use Express version because it is free for one server attached with one tape drive , but after installation , there is no "Express" logo coming up in the web admin interface .
is there any way i can find which exact version i am using ?

The Mid-2007 model didn't come out until June 2007, so you must have bought an earlier model. It won't run Mountain Lion (OS X 10.8.x), but it might run Lion (10.7.x) if you can get hold of a copy, depending on which earlier model it is.
Lion requires at least a Intel Core 2 Duo processor. The first MacBook Pros came out in January 2006, but they had "Core Duo" processors (no "2"). The Core 2 Duo MacBook Pros came out in October 2006. You could have bought either in March 2007.

Leopard is only available from non-Apple sources that may still have copies in stock. It was discontinued in August 2009 and is no longer available from Apple. Try eBay. Make sure you get a boxed retail copy of Leopard, not a system restore version. It's easy to tell them apart - the system restore disks are grey and are labeled for a specific model Mac (iMac, MacBook, etc). If someone is selling the grey system restore disks, stay away from them even if they say they are for an iMac.
Note: If you have a PowerPC (PPC) Mac, Leopard is the final version of OS X that you can install on your Mac. 10.5.8 was the final update to Leopard. I always found it to be a very stable version of OS X.
Snow Leopard (10.6.x) and all later releases of OS X require an Intel Mac.
If you have an Intel Mac, I agree with Neil, skip directly to Snow Leopard (10.6). It is still available from Apple for $19.95. The final update to Snow Leopard was 10.6.8. Once you install it, run Software Update to make sure you get the 10.6.8 update. Again, a very stable release.

How to Identify the Network Topology being used for a running ForeFront TMG Stand Alone array?

Hello Experts,
My client has decided to move their datacenter from one location to other including the ForeFront TMG servers which are being used as Reverse Proxy and TMG Gateway in DMZ environment.
I need to know the network topology used for this configuration so that I could chose the same topology when creating new TMG environment at new datacenter. Here are some details :
1. There are 2 TMG servers configured in a DMZ Workgroup in Stand Alone array.
2. Both servers have 3 NIC attached to them. (one has all public IPs configured, another one has internal IP address and the third one has Management IP which is used to connect the server via RDP).
3. There are more than 50 websites published via this standalone array.
I am very new to Forefront TMG technology and need to know the Topology used to create such environment.

According to your description, you can use the 3-leg perimeter network template and choose which network adapter connects to the LAN, which network adapter connects to the external network and which network adapter connects to the DMZ.
Did you set up TCP/IP settings for the three NICs? If not, please refer to the link below:

How do I resolve the error "Another installer is currently running, which must be closed before updating" when updating CC on MacOS 10.9.4?

Creative Cloud keeps alerting me to an available update but whenever I try to install it it tells me there is another installer running which must be shut down first.
I've now shut down and restarted the Mac completely and nothing else is running but it still gives me the same error (Error code: 81). See screen shot below.
I'm running Mavericks (OSX 10.9.4). How do I resolve this?

Please try the mentioned steps:
1. Navigate to Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installer and look for CC desktop, if present run the uninstaller to uninstall it.
2. Navigate to Applications/Utilities and look for Adobe Application Manager folder and Creative cloud folder. If present move to trash and empty it.
3. Navigate to Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE and rename to OOBE.old
4. Download CC desktop from: https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud and try to install again.

Can I use a tape autoloader device with OSB Express?

Hi,
The Express version of OSB allows me to backup one server to one attached tape drive.
The DataSheet also mentions that OSB XE supports a maximum of one tape drive within a robotic library.
Does this allow me to use a tape autoloader (namely the SL24 LTO4) with OSB Express? The device is listed in the tape device compatibility matrix, but does not say of restrictions between the fully licensed and the Express version.

Yes, OSB-XE could be used with the tape autoloader listed on the device...as long as it has only one tape drive.

I'm planning to use Oracle Secure Backup Express (OSB-XE) , described as license free with some limitations.
i have some questions :
1./ Does this free version allow me to use a Single Drive tape library (SAS ) attached to a server?
2./ Would be possible to perform backup of all servers through the network from the central server that has the library attached?
Our configuration is based in 3 servers with linux and one of the servers will manage the attached single drive library (or autoloader) , but we would like to know if OSB Express will be enabled to perform backup of more servers than the one where the software and drive resides.
Also, has anyone experienced with this software and version? does anybody have any comments on functionality or usability?

Based on your environment, you would need to license OSB. The OSB-XE version supports backup of ONE host to a single attached tape drive. The licensing guide describes the differences between OSB and OSB-XE:

OSB Express Driver Installation Issue

When I am installing OSB Express on a Windows 2000 Server, I receive the following error:
SetDiOpenDeviceInfo();
Error code e0000201
Then a window pops up stating that "Cannot Install Oracle Secure Backup Driver". When I originally installed this on the same machine, the driver installed properly. I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times, but still receive an error message. The tape drive is a Quantum DLT4000 drive, and is listed on the supported drive list from Oracle. Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks.

I performed the method as you suggested by uninstalling OSB Express, then rebooting, then disabling the tape device drive and then rebooting, and then reinstalled OSB Express. The same errors came back as a result.

OSB EXPRESS documentation needed and OSB install fails

For six days I have been trying to install OSB in the absence of ANY documentation on OSBE - Express - with a Service Request now 5 days old not updated by Oracle for 4 days.
ALL I am trying to do is implement OSBE on ONE Linux server with it's own tape drive.
There is NO documentation on this ANYWHERE. Neither at Oracle or ANYWHERE else in the Googlesphere, which is quite remarkable.

as I get as far as making the Linux Attach Points and ... can't.
The commands are irrelevant to OSBE configuration, they assume a tape library as well as a drive. I don't have a tape library. I couldn't define one if I wanted to.

I've not looked at the Express version, but the full OSB installation media has a doc folder which contains all the installation and configuration guides. This is also available from the webtool by clicking the "help" link at the top right corner. The documentation is also available for download from http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10317_01/welcome.html.
Anyway, have you got OSB installed and have access to the webtool? If so you can just go to Configure Hosts, make sure your client is listed with the mediaserver role, and then go to Configure Devices and add the tape device. For the device attachment you can just specify /dev/sg0, no need to put anything else in there.

Today i switched to Aperture 3. In the past i've used a "intelligent album" to identify photos that do not carry GPS information. This task was pretty easy because any photo with valid GPS coordinates got an additional tag also (using Maperture).
The places view of Aperture 3 does not - as far as i can see - provide additional information besides the GPS coordinates. How can i create a search expression to find photos without GPS?

You can add Rules to the Search Box.
In the Top Line you'll see 'Add Rule' on the Right Hand Side.
Click and Select 'Places'
Then you can create a 'Places -> Is -> Empty' rule.

During installation wizard asked you about password for SYS and SYSTEM user, you had to set it. If you forgot you can loggin to ORACLE via SQL plus without password:
c:\>SQLPLUS / sys as sysdba
after connect you can set new password for any user, for example (SYSTEM user):
ALTER USER SYSTEM identified by NEW_PASSWORD;
After this you can login to APEX (Internet enviroment)
Remember Oracle it's not only Internet frontend, it's huge tools with many functions. If you need study Oracle you need many time and zest but it is worth-while.
Yes Oracle XE is free (read licence agreement).

I'm trying to have report of employee(table emp) group by department(dept). I want to have 5 employees per page and per departement. A department can have 10 employees. So we'll have 2 pages for this department.For Each page a want to have sum of salary. Only at the last page of a department i want to have the sum of salary per page and also total of salary for the current department.
So i want to know how to identify the last page of departement in order put only on this page the sum of salary for the departement?

If you're not sure about the correct SOM expression you can use a small script for testing.
Put a textfield into the subform you want control.
Add this script into its calculate event.
this.rawValue = this.parent.somExpression;
If you preview the form in Designer you'll see the SOM expression of the text fields parent, which is the subform.
Copy it and put it into the script to hide the subform.

Even if you have explicitly deselected the additional feature of the Enterprise Edition, If you have installed Oracle Enterprise Edition, then you have an Oracel Enterprise Edition Installed, and you must have a license to support your installation. There are several kinds of Edition, you may choose the one that best fits your needs.
Oracle Enterprise Edition:
Enterprise Edition is the full (top of the range) version or the Oracle Database Server. Options like RAC, Partitioning, Spatial, etc. can be purchased separately to enhance the functionality of the database.
Oracle Standard Edition:
Standard Edition is designed for smaller businesses and enterprises. It offers a subset of the features/ functionality implemented in Enterprise Edition. Database options like Data Guard, Partitioning, Spatial, etc. is not available with Standard Edition (from 10g one can use RAC with Standard Edition). Standard Edition can only be licensed on servers with a maximum capacity of four processors.
Oracle Standard Edition One:
Standard Edition One is a low cost, entry-level version of the Oracle Standard Edition database server. Standard Edition One can only be licensed on small servers with a maximum capacity of two processors.
Oracle Personal Edition:
