How to identify unanswered questions?

Hi all,
I always try to mark a question that I pose as answered when it is. I was looking at my profile and noticed the following:
Total Questions: xx (5 unresolved)
Given that I thought I had marked all questions as answered, how can I find out which ones are unanswered so I can mark them answered?
Also, it might be nice to have that be a link to a page that shows links to the unanswered questions.
Thanks,
JustMe

If you click on the "Your Control Panel" link on top-tight, then click "Your Questions" on the top-right on the resulting page, you should see your questions divided into two sections - unresolved and resolved.

  • How do I identify Presenter Questions in a LMS report?

    Hi,
    We've put together 25 questions in Presenter and set it up to report from our LMS (e2train).
    We need to know what users answer for each of the questions and can pull off a report that shows the results ok.
    The problem is that we have no identifier for the 25 questions.
    For each user the report shows the following columns:
    Description (blank for all 25 qs);
    Type (q type),
    Learner Response (What they selected);
    Result (correct or incorrect).
    How do I get Presenter to identify each question?

    Hi,
    Can you display what code you used for this? I followed note 172045.1 and everything compiles properly but when I run the report, I just get a box with a red X in it, like it is not finding the picture. I ran the procedure that downloads the image and it works fine from there. Thanks.

  • How to see my unanswered questions? Some forums missing?

    I miss the old format... Maybe I'm old and stubborn, but this new Apple forums format isn't growing on me - I'm finding it difficult to navigate. Is it possible to customize my view so that I see all of my unanswered questions, and perhaps some select forums?  If not, what's the easiest way to find my open questions - I can't seem to find the link. Also, are all of the forums here or have some been removed/consolidated? Either I'm not searching correctly or they're gone - it seems like some are missing; the old list was much clearer than this scroll-down thing.

  • How to get a mod. removed question out of my "Unanswered Questions screen"

    Hello All,
    I don't know where to ask this. So, I'll try here.
    I have a question still listed in my "My Questions" screen.
    It was removed by the moderators some time back, but remains in my "My Questions" screen.
    It was removed pretty quickly by the moderators, so there was no time to mark it as answered.
    So, now it appears as though I have a permanently unanswered question. So, my log-in will always show 1 unanswered question.
    Right now, I see on the left-hand side, a message that says:
    "You have 1 unresolved question(s)."
    So, I am wanting to find out if there is any way for me to have this question removed from my account. This way I won't have any unanswered questions listed that are not actually active.
    If you are a moderator with access to this, I'll grant you permission right here to remove this from my "My Questions" page.
    The question in question is:
    Mac Mini 1.5 CoreSolo really a CoreDuo???? - No Intel 1.5 CoreSolo Made
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=392125&tstart=0
    Under the link, it says: "Administration » * Posts Removed by Hosts"
    If there is a way that I can remove it from my "My Questions" page, I'd appreciate hearing about it.
    Otherwise, could a Administrator or Moderator help me to do this.
    Now, understand that if contacted for log-in information, I'm going to need some proof of the person being a moderator. I'm not going to give my account info to just anymore
    Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.
    I'll look forward to hearing from you

    Hello All,
    I just came back in, and noticed that they have removed the question from my "My Questions" screen.
    So, looks like it is all fixed now
    Thank you Moderators / Administrators.
    It is much appreciated

  • How to identify a type of consolidation in a system?

    Hi,
    I need to understand how to identify the type of consolidation we are doingion the system.
    Example like Step consolidation, Simultaneous consolidation or other method.
    This will be helpfull for me in doing my currest support issues.
    Thanks in advance,
    Richard..

    Not sure to understand your question.
    What is the precise context of your issue ? Is it a problem of SEM-BCS configuration or a general problem on how consolidation works ?

  • Calculated values: how to? Newbie question

    Hi,
    I have a view object with attributes X and Y (both numbers). How can I add a computed attribute (X*Y) ?
    I tried to
    - do "New" attribute in View Object wizard"
    - then set flag Queriable to false
    - remove that attribute from the SQL query
    - edit the code of the method getX*Y() to return getX().multiply(getY());
    but It doesn't work. I get an error (oracle.jbo.DMLException) JBO-26080: Error while selecting entity for Poste
    ----- LEVEL 1: DETAIL 0 -----
    (java.sql.SQLException) ORA-00904: "AMOUNT_TOTAL" : invalid identifier
    => My questions are
    1) How can I add a computed attribute on a view so it will work
    2) I have a master and a detail view object. I want the master to have an attribute getAverage() computed on the detail row set. If I override the get() method in the master view object, how can I get the detail rows so I can compute it ?
    The computing of these attributes are actually a little trickier than just a multiply operation. That's why I don't want to do it via a select sum().. or select avg(..).
    Help much appreciated.
    Rodolphe -

    When you build a view link, you have an option to generate accessor (see the 'View Link Properties' panel on the View Link wizard).
    You can also set the accessor name. The default is to generate an accessor to traverse from the master to detail.
    When you call this accessor, it will return an oracle.jbo.RowIterator. Using that, you can traverse through rows in the detail. For example:
    // This is on DeptView
    public BigDecimal getAverageSal()
       // Get Emp's that belong to this Dept.
       // 'EmpView' is the view link accessor name.
       oracle.jbo.RowIterator iter = (oracle.jbo.RowIterator) getAttribute("EmpView");
       oracle.jbo.Row rowDetail;
       float salTot = 0.0;
       int count = 0;
       while ((rowDetail = iter.next()) != null)
          int sal = ((Integer) rowDetail.getAttribute("Salary")).intValue();
          salTot += sal;
          count++;
       if (count == 0) return new BigDecimal((double) 0.0);
       return new BigDecimal((double) (salTot / count));
    }Thanks.

  • How can identify the default currency for a customer?

    How can identify the default currency for a customer?
    I know that this is being determined when you create a sales order for a particular customer, for example, so I could break this process open and find out what it uses. But I thought it worth asking in this forum first.

    Hi Gary,
    As per my understanding of your question I am replying , If you are looking some thing else then I request you to please elaborate your query.
    If you see the BP sales area data in transaction BP, In billing tab you maintain the currency for a customer which is default currency when you create a sales order.
    <b>Reward points if it helps!!</b>

  • Bad Stats on threads for unanswered questions

    There seems to be a bug in the thread view for unanswered questions that says
    This question is not answered. Helpful answers available: 5. Correct answers available: 1.
    for any unanswered questions. The 5 and 1 numbers are fixed text and never change, like they are placeholders for some calculation that was going to be implemented to count posts flagged as helpful / correct that was never implemented.
    Also, it would be nice when replying to a post if the new page displayed contained the original post being replied to at the top for reference and copy/paste whlie composing the replies. This is pretty standard functionality on public message boards.

    It's amazing how many newbies to the forum come on and complain about the way it works before even getting any proper knowledge of it. Did you really think that something as basic as those things would not have been considered before?

  • Cycle back to unanswered questions

    I am using Captivate 4. I have created a quiz consisting of a few random question slides that take questions out of the same pool of even more questions. I have allowed users to skip questions till the end of the quiz. When they reach the end, I would like the quiz to cycle back to the first unanswered question without the result slide appearing, of course. Then, again, at the end of the quiz, cycle back again until all question are answered, then we can see the results page. I tried using advanced actions and particularly the cpQuizInfoTotalUnansweredQuestions system variable which I added to a "On slide enter" function of a blank slide before the results page so it can check if all questions have been answered, then proceed to the next slide which is the results page, a thing that for some reason it doesn't do. On the other side, if not all questions have been answered how can I track the first unanswered question in the quiz so I can send the playback there? Someone should have come across this scenario, I hope.
    Also, I would like to ask of there is a way to customize the review questions proccess and instead of showing each question one at a time,  to list all questions at once with the correct answer and the answer the user chose.
    Thanks in advance.

    This is why I put the bank slides set at a half-second each between each question slide. You can set an advanced action upon entrance of these slides. So my advanced action looks at the variable for the next slide and checks to see if the value is > 0. If it is, it jumps to the following slide (which is another blank slide and that one executes another version of the same command. In terms of the Submit button, what I meant to say is that I set the same (separate) advanced action no matter if the user gets the question right or wrong. This one changes the value of the variable associated with the slide from 0 to 1 and then advances to the next slide.
    So in a 3-question quiz, it would look like this...
    Blank -> Slide 1 -> Blank -> Slide 2 ->
    Slide 2 as the second-to-last question would have it own advanced action upon exit that looks to see if either slide has a value  > 0. If both are > 0, it jumps to the final question. If either has a value of 0, it jumps to slide that tells the user he or she has unanswered questions and gives them the opportunity to go back.
    Once the user goes back, the blank slides SHOULD cycle past all completed slides (since they have a value > 0) and stop only on the uncompleted slides.
    I am still working out the final details. And once I get them working this way, I would like to see if I could do it with a more elegant plan, using fewer variables and actions. But the basics are working for me right now.

  • How to identify the installed Weblogic Server and JDK are 32bit or 64bit?

    Hi everyone,
    I have a question ~
    Both Weblogic Server and JAVA JDK are installed on the server already, but I only know the Weblogic Server is 10.3.4.0 and JAVA JDK version is 1.6.0_25.
    I know the 64bit Weblogic Server installation file is a wlsXXXX_generic.jar package and 64bit JAVA JDK needed also.
    But, since the Weblogic installed already, there are no such installation files on the Linux Server now.
    I have tried the "java -version" for java version and check the Weblogic version from Weblogic console.
    How to identify the installed Weblogic Server and JDK are 32bit or 64bit with Linux command? Or is there any way to check it?

    What you can try to do is use WLST (or an MBean browser, such as JConsole or JRockit Mission Control) and connect to the adminserver.
    For example when using WLST:
    # set the environment by using setWLSEnv.sh (located in the ${WL_HOME}/server/bin directory).
    # start WLST by using: java weblogic.WLST
    # connect to the adminserver
    connect('adminusername','adminpassword');
    # change to the serverruntime environment
    serverRuntime();
    # show the attributes
    ls();
    # Here an attribute is shown called WebLogicVersion that shows the version of WebLogic
    -r--   WeblogicVersion                              WebLogic Server 10.3.5.0  Fri Apr 1 20:20:06 PDT 2011 1398638
    # Note that this does not show if is 32 bits or 64 bits to retrieve this information you have obtain the JVM version
    # change the directory
    cd('JVMRuntime/AdminServer');
    # show the attributes
    ls();
    -r--   Version                                      R28.0.1-21-133393-1.6.0_20-20100512-2126-linux-x86_64
    # when you have something like x86 at the you are running a 32 bit version, if you have something like x86_64 you are running a 64 bits versionAs mentioned above you can also retrieve this information by using a MBean browser.

  • How to identify which record(s) the user hasbeen checked

    i have a internal table in which first field is represented as check box in the output .
    like bellow
      loop at g_it_final into g_wa_final.
            write : 5 sy-tabix ,
                   20 g_wa_final-g_v_check as checkbox,
                   25 g_wa_final-TRKORR,
                   40 g_wa_final-AS4TEXT.
      endloop.
    now the user will select some records from the output checking the check box
    NOW the QUESTION is
    how to identify which record(s) the user hasbeen checked(selected) ?
    so that i can disply only the selected records in the secondary list.

    Hi,
    You will have to use the 'READ LINE' command within a loop to retrieve the data back into your program.
    You may want to use the HIDE command to ease the retrieval of the checkbox value.
    Check out the online help for both of these.

  • How to identify version of Adobe creative Suite

    I am working on packaging for Adobe Creative Suite. After installing Adobe Creative Suite Premium\Installer 1\Adobe Creative Suite\Setup.exe, I am not able to identify the version (like CS1 or CS2 or CS3  so on.........)of this product even in ARP entry its showing "Adobe creative Suite" only . I am also not getting how to do silent installation of this product because its not extracting any Install.xml OR deploy.xml,Uninstall.xml OR remove.xml,setup.xml,Application.xml.override files. Also no folder is there like Payloads and deployment.
    So my question is how to identify version and how to do silent installation?

    You don't.  Registration is a one time thing that you do the first time you install an application.  Once registered it does not need to be done again.
    You should see if yoiu can have the activations reset before you try installing on a new machine so that you still have the two activations that are available to you.  If not, you should still have an activation available for use with the new installation.
    To reset activations contact Adobe Support and ask them to reset your activations....  For the link below click the Still Need Help? option in the blue area at the bottom and choose the chat option...
    Serial number and activation chat support (non-CC)
    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service1.html ( http://adobe.ly/1aYjbSC )
    To get it working on the new machine you just install and activate using the serial number you should already have.

  • Easier way to find unanswered questions?

    How about some features to make it easier to find unanswered questions in a forum?
    Like a button that says "show only unanswered questions"?
    Another option like "show unanswered questions with 0 replies"

    Some, but not enough.
    Sometimes a question is answered but the post-er never marks it as such. That's why I'd like a filter called "Open Questions with 0 replies"
    That's why I asked if it satisfied the first part of your request. I was aware it didn't satisfy the other details you mentioned.
    You aren't the first to ask for more sophisticated filters. I have as well. I think we'll probably eventually see some of these things. The Hosts are aware of all of these requests and continue to add them to the big list of features people would like to see. Of course, for some time now they have had to concentrate on forum stability before even beginning to add more features. But I they've said in the past that they have hopes to work on these details once everything else is under control.
