How to identify Which function modules are used in the planning area?

Hi all,
there are couple of function module derviation is used to derive the calendar year, month, fiscal period etc.
But how to identify which function module is used in which planning area?
I cant find out from the where used list from function modules?

Hi Pooja,
Go to characteristic relationship tab,click on detail icon on extreme left of the derivation,there you will get the name and the details of function module used for derivation.

It is not so clear to me what your are looking for. If you take a look here (as an example)

you will find a "documentation" of this function module.
I have copied only thee most important part here of the docu on this link:
"This is the central function module for linking the R/3 component Product Safety (EHS-SAF) to the R/3 component Sales and Distribution (SD). The function module is used to generate report shipping orders using data from SD. An example of a report is a material safety data sheet. "
The "inbook" in some "sense" is EHS and there transaction CVD1 and only if you have performed a correct EHS set up.
What "workflow inbox" are you looking for?? Those of the SAP SD messages ??
Could you please explain a little bit there you are "struggeling"?

Hi,
Generally the function modules of the idoc types are having a naming convention as IDOC_INPUT for inbound processing and IDOC_OUTPUT for outbound processing followed by the idoc type name
for example : For IDOC type ORDERS
the inbound function module will be IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS and for outbound IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDERSP
In this way you can find the function module for a particular IDOC

SecurityInfo.getServerCertificate() only returns the certificate send from the https server.
But how could know the which local root certificate is used to verify the certificate send from the https server?

In PR05(Travel Expense Manager), there is a simulate button which will generate standard expense form with expense details.
I ran into scenario where one user group expenseform is little different from another group employees expense form. i am guessing that user group form is customized. how to identify what is behind scene form which is used.

I confirming that position 24 for other settlement under TRAVEL EXPENSES CONTROL (EXPERT VIEW )
Now we have issue identifying which underlying ABAP LIST Form used.

Function Module: CM_F_INFO used in the transaction COR2

Dear All,
I found a function module 'CM_F_INFO', that is used in the transaction COR2.
Can you tell me what is the purpose of this function module?
I found that only the parameter 'APLID' is passed to it(value PICR) and it is returning A_MSG_COUNTER_PRO, EMSG_COUNTER_PRO, W_MSG_COUNTER_PRO, I_MSG_COUNTER_PRO. I think these are all the message count (I'm not sure).
When I executed this function manually; it is not returning any value.
Can you help me; I need this to fix a bug!!

The subroutine calls the function CM_F_MESSAGE to display message.
you can declare one internal table in your program and populate the message details in this internal table.
At the end while displaying data, display the content of this internal table as messages populated during the process.

i use FM job_open, job_summit to create batchjob, but now i want to schedule by time accroding to user's prefer, not release it by default setting. i don't know which FM can meet this requirement, can anybody do me a favor.

Use transaction SM36 to schedule a job.
give job name and class as C and click step button at the top.
there u give ur prgm name and variant.and save.
then click START condition at the top and click date and time button. there u give date and time.
and then check periodc job check box.
or u can try with
Job_schdule

If you are in Oracle 10g you can use ORA_ROWSCN.Note that unless the table was created with ROWDEPENDENCIES enabled, though, ORA_ROWSCN is tracked at the block level rather than the row level. So a block with one new row and many old rows could appear as having all been entered today.

How to find a Function module is used for how many times since it is created.. we went through the Tcode STAT , ST03, STAD, STATTRACE but in ST03 we can find it for Program but we could not find it for Function module , So can any one please suggest us . we are using ECC 6.0 version.

ABAP Function Module where-used in BI-Transformations

Hi,
we have developed some ABAP-Z-Function-Modules. These are used in several BI-Data-Transformations and work fine and performant.
The problem we have now is to find out in which transformation a Function-Module is used.
The where-used-list in SE37 doesn't report any BI-Transformations althought I check all categories.
Got anyone a solution for our problem?

WHICH function module is used to change the bp role????

I have another doubt also,when i add a role (example prospect) for a bp using the function module it works fine.but if i see the classification tab in bp transaction for that particular partner,the prospect check box is not checked.
how to check that checkbox in classification tab automatically while we create a role????
