How to implement it about String?

Question

Suppose that, there is a String text "The project manager defines [1][0.400][+goals] for iterations with the support of the management group and the date of the first status meeting."
What I need to do is as follow:
pick up the '1' from first[ ], and convert it to integer value;
pick up the '0.400' from the second [ ], and convert it to double value;
pick up the '+goals' from the third [ ], and convert it to substring value;

@Op. You can also use find if you have multiple groups:

          Pattern p = Pattern.compile("\\[([^]]+)\\]\\[([^]]+)\\]\\[([^]]+)\\]");
          Matcher m = p.matcher(text);
          while (m.find()) {
               System.out.println(m.group(1));
