But i am not able to import this project into my flex.

The NB File Menu has an "import" entry that imports Eclipse stuff. If that won't do what you want, ask followup questions at the NB site, not here. These forums are for Java language questions.

Though it's not clear in that link, I believe those instructions to be for JDev 11.1.2.1.0, not 11.1.1.4.0. However somebody may correct me.

How to Import Garageband projects and files into Cubase for Windows?

I've recently started using Garageband to record my ideas and compositions. I had 2 main questions:
1. How do I transfer the audio files created in Garageband in a format which will allow me to edit them in Music Software for a Windows based Operating system? Tranferring them to iTunes and then converting them to MP3 doesn't help because then my friends can't edit my guitar parts and other backing tracks.
Mainly I need to know how to save and import Garageband projects and individual tracks into Cubase/ Cakewalk for Windows so that my band guys can edit the tracks and send me their ideas.
I'm the only one out of my friends who has an Apple Macbook and most of my band guys still use Windows based Operating systems.
2. I record my guitars and other instruments using the Digitech GNX4 guitar effects processor as the sound source through USB. While I can record clean guitar without any problem, the moment I switch on the distortions on the GNX 4, there is a loud and constant hum from the speakers. I am therefore not being able to record distorted guitar sounds.
Please help on this.

Could be a ground loop problem. Test it using the MacBook on battery power only.

How to import existing projects into JDeveloper 11g

I am trying to work with JDeveloper for my application and want to know whether it is possible to import existing projects into the work space in JDeveloper. I am currently working with eclipse IDE and this feature is available in it. How can I connect to clear case from JDeveloper? In eclipse it is very easy to connect to clear case with a plugin installed and check out, check in files from the source control. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The basic way to import code is to use the "New->Projects->Project from existing code" or "project from WAR" dialogs to create your project.
You then need to do some tweaking in the project properties->Content (and sub nodes such as resources and Web content).
And also set the correct JARs/Libraries in the project properties.
You can use the help->check for update to download the extension to JDeveloper that will let you integrate with Clearcase to do version management.

How to import WD project

I imported a wd project .IIt gives error that library is missing.I configured by right clicking project and going to external jar in lib.
But the version in the Error and which is there in my system is diff (its given as 2.0 to all the lib folders).How do I configure it .Where to change it so that now thw Project refers to new class and when i send it back wont that create conflict and more over there is JCO jar and when I unzip JCO there is no folder but in the project it refers to sap.mw.jco .... So on .How can i create this automatically or should it reate by itself?

Let us assume that the name of the WebDynpro project that you want to import is <i>WD1</i>.
Instead of importing the project as a whole simply create a new project in your IDE with the name WD2 and then copy and paste the "src" folder of WD1 to the "src" folder of WD2. Thatz it. All the problems related to the plug-ins of your IDE will get resolved.

I have a few maven projects that I would like to work on in jDeveloper (11.1.1.5.0). How do I go about converting them into it?
First I created a generic project and tried to import my maven projects into it but when I did the import, jDeveloper didn't give the maven proejct option.

You will have to download the maven integration extensions. Set the correct proxy from Tools->Preferences->Web Browser & Proxy and then Visit Help->Check for updates. You will find two maven extensions to download.

How to Import PPro project into Current PPro Timeline?

I can import a prproj file into my current project. If I just DRAG it to the timeline it becomes nested without any individual files or transitions. If I double click the sequence, a new sequence opens up with all the files and transitions. But I simply want the entire sequence to appear on my current timeline with all the files and transitions in tact. How?

I fear that something is being lost somewhere. All of the suggestions work as I would want them to. If they are not, either we're all not clear on exactly what the OP wants, or there is something in the OP's workflow, that is getting in the way.
As I edit my "chapters" AS individual Sequences, the first method works perfectly. If I have a special need to get that material into an existing Sequence, the second method, Copy/Paste, works perfectly too. If there are extenuating circumstances, then Jeff's Track-by-Track works a treat.
Got to be something that we're all missing, or that the OP is missing. More more details might help.

How to import a Project from iMovie 09 to FCPx

im having a bit of trouble imprting my project with all the edits and sounds and titles to Final cut pro x and i wondering what is the correct order to import it. and the project is on a diffrent computer than FCPx, does that matter?

All the media can be seen with iMovie and Quick Time. If I import individual clips (Import>Files) from the iMovie Event folders into FCE they can be opened and played. It seems the process of the XML Translation of an iMovie Project and importation into FCE is the central problem. I revisited the FCE Video tutorial on importing from iMovie and I believe I am following the correct procedure.
I do have the video clips on an external disk and the imovie projects have to be on the internal disk - could this be an issue.
Also I don't know anything about "scratch disk"s - I saw on one post that there could be a problem there....

I have several Premier cs3 projects using the Matrox system which I want to import into Premier CC. Howeer the CC will not accept the avi files that were used in the cs3 software. Do I need a special codec for matrox avi files? Where can I get that? Adobe obviously has it as I use it in the cs3 version?

Please download and install the Matrox VFW codecs from here: http://www.matrox.com/video/en/support/windows/vfw_software_codecs/downloads/softwares/ver sion2.0/
Note that while the CS3 project should open and the edits and Adobe effects will be intact, any of the special Matrox GPU effects (from RT.X2) will NOT be present.
If you should connect a Matrox MXO2 device, then you could keep the following effects from older RT.X2 projects when imported into newer CS6 or CC projects -
* Matrox Color Correction (Primary and Secondary)
* Matrox Keying (Chroma and Luma Key)
* Matrox Wipes Transitions

I just got a java project which has jsp, java, struts and the .settings folder has

org.eclipse.jdt.ui.prefs
org.eclipse.ltk.core.refactoring.prefs
org.eclipse.wst.validation.prefs
.Project file has <name>org.eclipse.jdt.core.javabuilder</name>
<nature>org.eclipse.jdt.core.javanature</nature>
The jsp and java files are under src folder.
Since it is my first time to use eclipse platform, I do not know where should I put all those source files?
Is it a dynamic web application to have those *.prefs in .settings folder?

Why have you posted this in the JSF forum? This has nothing to do with JSF.
To import an existing project in Eclipse, just rightclick somewhere at Project Explorer and choose Import.

OSB 11g How to import existing project to Configuration project ?

Environment: latest OSB 11g + WLS + OOPE , Win 7
When an exiisting OSB Eclipse project is imported to Configuration project comes a message
"Path for project must have only one segment"
What is the solutiion to this problem ?

How to import one project file into another project file

In previous versions I could take an 8 track project file and drag it into another project. This doesn't work in version 10. I am playing multi track stems for worship. I create each song as it's own file then drag them together to create a set. I don't mix down since I want to be able to add or subtract an instrument based on who may or may not be avaiable that day. Has this feature been taken out of Version 10? Can you do this in either Logic or Mainstage?

Excellent information from John, to which it may be worth adding that you can of course continue to run iMovie 6 alongside iMovie 11 on your Mac:
Happily this is easily achieved, but it has to be done backwards.
Delete iMovie 11 (just drag it to the trash). Now install iMovie 6 from the iLife 6 install disks. Update it to iMovie 6.0.3.
Now re-install iMovie 11. This automatically moves iMovie 6 into a folder it creates in your Applications folder called iMovie Previous Version.
Then reinstall iMovie 11.
iMovie 6 works great with iDVD 7.
Now you have them both, and you can have both in the Dock as well.
