How to import an .exp file in Essbase 7.1 version

Guys, Please help me.. I'm working on Essbase 7.1 version and I have to finish this asap..
We are working on migrating the Legacy system to Strategic and moving the apps from Unix platform to Windows.
I asked the Legacy team to exp the data load and all the essbase objects.
I received all the essabase objects and I created cubes accordingly and time to load data.
I tried loading the data using right click on Database and load data ,and used the option load from file with no rul file..
I'm getting error, I think I uses Maxl script earlier to do some of the cubes for testing and I lost the script, I'm not currently working on Essbase from last 3 years and Lost my mind in Essbase.. .
Please help me in this.. I have to finish these loads and give access to users to finish the historical backups.. .

I created a cube, copied the OTL from backup file and loaded the data.

1) In the Package explorer right-click the project you want to import the jar files into.
2) Click import
3) Select Archive file in the Import dialog box and click next
4) Browse to the jar file and select it

How to import an .otl file in essbase

Hi all,
i have a problem. I have an .otl file and i need to import it in essbase administration services console. So i've created a directory in C:\Hyperion\AnalyticServices\app called with the same name of the .otl file. When i connect to Administration Services Console (9.3.1) under Applications on my Essbase Server, I 'can't find the outline.
Anyone can help me?
Do I need to perform some others operations?

Sorry, but my knowledge in Essbase is very small.
1. Copy the .otl file, where? I copied it in the C:\Hyperion\AnalyticServices\app directory. Is this the correct place or do i have to copy the .otl file somewhere else?
2. Open that .otl file via EAS, EAS is the essbase administration service console? How can i open the otl file?
- At eas menu, File/Open, select File System, look up file and select, it´s done.

Can somebody tell how to import the .exp file that are developed in ALBPM Studio 6.0/Oracle BPM 10g r3 into ALBPM 5.7. I have tried but can not able to import the project as the file suported by ALBPM 5.7 is <.fpr.exp>. I have also tried to import the XPDL/XSDL file developed in 6.0 to 5.7 but can not able to do so. It is importing the file but the only the automatic activities are showing in workspace (All the other activities like Interactive, Grab etc are not displayed). The code inside that automatic activities are also not there.

Hi Bibhu,
I expect importing a project to an older version of BPM isn't going to work or be supported.
Most products are built to be backwards compatabile, not forwards compatible.
I recommend you go to one version of the product anyway - trying to maintain two adds to your maintenance and support overheads.
In which case migrating your processes from 5.7 to 6.0 (or even 10g) would be supportable and the best way to go.

Hey I am facing a similar problem:
I have this jar file lbswebservice.jar that I have to use for my application.
I added it to the classpath, I copied it in my WEB-INF/lib folder, but when I try to access classes in this package, it doesnt work.
For example the jar contains the package com.blipsystems.lbs.ws.messages.* ; that contains different classes, like the Campaign class.
I tried to use this class (just to create an object) in different context (through jsp, or just through java test classes), but it never works, i get the error: com.blipsystems.lbs.ws.messages.Campaign cannot be resolved to a type
I am a bit desperate here...

What do you mean by "adjust"? Editing of Photoshop images should be done in Photoshop.
Sure, it's possible to save individual layers from an image in Photoshop as inidvidual files in a variety of formats, but what's the point? You could just as easily import the layered file, then copy/paste it into a new layer for each layer in the image and use layer visibility to control which ones show. I don't think that will do you a lot of good, though, if you use adjustment layers or opacity controls on the layer in Photoshop.

You need to specify the classpath when you execute it outside of Eclipse.

There's no import needed. You just open it using the AIR SQL APIs. If this database file was created outside AIR, it's not necessarily compatible, though. There are SQLite features and extensions that aren't supported in AIR.

I recently upgraded to cc from cs2 and now need to know how to import my type font library from my older version. All of my current artwork is not being displayed correctly because the fonts aren't recognized.

There are a some fonts that gets installed with the Adobe app, and only get loaded when Ilustrator is booted.

I have made a LabVIEW program where I have possibility to read a PDF document. When I made this LabVIEW program it was Acrobat Reader 5.0.5 that was installed on the PC. Lather when the Acrobat Reader was upgraded to version 6.0, there was an error when VI tries to launch the LabVIEW program. And Later again when we upgraded to Acrobat Reader 7.0.5 I must again do some changes and rebuild the EXE files again
It isn't so very big job to do the changes in one single LabVIEW program, but we have built a lot of LabVIEW programs so this take time to due changes every time vi update Acrobat Reader. (We have build EXE files.)
The job is to right click the ActiveX container and Click "Insert ActiveX Object", then I can brows the computer for the new version of acrobat Reader. After this I must rebuild all the "methods" in the Activex call to make the VI executable again.
Is there a way to build LabVIEW program so I don't have to do this job every time we update Acrobat Reader?
This LabVIEW program is written in LabVIEW 6.1, but I se the problem is the same in LabVIEW 8.2.
