    Hi,
Doule click on your Software Component in the Repository.
See if option Allow import of RFC and Idoc is enabled. If not sleect it and activate your software component.
Next, go to the option --> Imported Objects --> Right Click --> Give the system details from which IDoc is to be imported and then improt the idoc b y selecitng the idoc you want to be imported.
    ><i>Are there any predefined IDOCs ....</i>
yes, there are custom idocs available in every R3 system.
    ><i>
How? XI will directly get that particular IDOC</i>
The R3 system used a TRFC to post the Idoc to XI. It hits the integration engine of Xi directly and so no need for a sender idoc adapter.
    ><i>How to define the structure of IDOC in datatype..</i>
Idoc itselct acts as the message type and message interface. No need for a datatype. Just use the imported idoc as a message type and  message interface,

    Hi Moorthy,
I checked connection in SM59 all r working fine using test connection.
In XI I have created 2 different RFC's for R/3.
    1) "D11" with my personal login ID of R/3
    2) "D11-060" with some special login ID "XIRFCUSER" of R/3
In IDX1 if i am using D11 and when i am trying to import Idoc in IDX2 i am getting error "Communication error: 'User ROHILLAU has no RFC authorization for functio'"
But when i use D11-060 in IDX1 i am able to import Idoc in IDX2.
But in IR-> Import SAP Object, I am using my ID for import and getting error "JCO.Client not connected in repository call"
Is in IR i also need to use "XIRFCUSER".

  • How to import the IDOC into Seeburger BIC mapping designer

    Hi All,
Can u please tell me how to import the IDOC into Seeburger BIC mapping desginer.
I have scenario My scenario is SAP GTS 7.0.....>Seeburger BIS.....>Atlas customs system for Germany
Idoc coming from SAP GTS to Seeburger BIS and then convert to EDIFACT send
    to Atlas systeam.
    Regards,
    Ramesh.

    Hi Ramesh
BIC is a tool from Seeburger to transmit the XML data to EDI and EDI to XML.
Seeburger mapping programs for transferring the XML data to EDI data and EDI data to XML data, but not for the structure changing, in the IR your mapping program is same.
Receiver side you need AS2 Adapter for converting data to EDI target structure. we have many EDI versions are available, for converting the EDI to XML or vice versa AS2 gives some default mapping programs, xml to EDI or EDI to XML convertion done through this mapping programs.
Seeburger AS adapter provider provides some mapping programs(for example EDI4010 version or other), if you are using the same EDI version(4010) then you can use that mapping programs, if the version is different then we can manually generate the Seeburger X2E and E2X mappings for the corresponding version and signal(850 or 810 or ..), for this seeburger provides the mapping designer tool (BIC), there we can develope the X2E and E2X mapping programs and configure this in the Seeburger work bench.
    Regards
    Ramesh

  • How to import Custom idoc into  IR?

I have a custom idoc and i need to map it with the receiver format after importing into IR . Please let me know the sequence of steps to import custom idoc into  Integration repository?
I think I need to first import into IDX2 and then import into repository. Am I correct?

    Hi Prateek,
thanks for the information .The normal standard idocs we import by searching the idoc eg- for importing matmas we type mat and we search it, since it is a standard idoc it will be available in the list (after selecting the chek box "Import of idoc or rfc interfaces from sap system permitted").
But my question is how we import custom idoc as they wont be present in the list?

  • How to Transfer IDoc Type to Data Type in XI

    Dear All,
I am working on scenario to transfer data(IDoc) from SAP System to Non SAP system through XI.
While Defining "Data Type" in XI i want to create Data Type as of IDoc type(CREMAS05).There is any direct method to import IDoc type into "Data Type" in XI.
    thanks,
    RP

    Hi Rp,
External definitions enable you to import WSDL, XSD, and DTD documents to the Integration Repository so that you can access the message definitions they contain as external messages.
If a description of the message structure already exists in one of the above formats, you can use it in the Integration Repository by importing it as an external definition rather than re-entering it manually using the data type editor.
    Prerequisites
The document to be imported must conform to the WSDL, XSD, or DTD standard.

  • How to send IDOC as IDOC XML with out touching IR

    Hi Guru's,
I have a scenario, where i need to transfer IDOC into Just IDOC XML..
    No Mapping is done...
I know v can do without touching repository objects..
As Per Bhavesh said in one of the blog.....no need to import idoc into repository..
I am just wondering how will it possible?
    My Understanding is as follows.........
    First Go to ID.
    Step 1)
As sender is IDOC we will not create sender agreement & sender communication channel..
    Step 2)
    Goto Receiver Determination
    Sender:
Service   : Business System for SAP R/3
    Interface : IDOC
    NameSpace: urn:sap-com:document:sap:idoc:messages
    Receiver:
    Service : Receiver Business system.
    Interface Determination
    Configured Inbound Interfaces:
    InboundInterface : IDOC
    Interface Mapping : NIL
    ReceiverAgreement :
Sender Service : SAP R/3 Business system Name.
ReceiverService: will give receiver Business system.
    ReceiverInterface : IDOC
    Receiver Namespace:urn:sap-com:document:sap:idoc:messages
As Bhavesh said there is no need to import IDOC into Repository.
main intention is no need to touch Repository..
we are giving IDOC name in Receiver Interface and sender Interface.
Here my doubt is from where this IDOC will come as u are not importing IDOC into Repository.
    Please need clarification..
    Thanks in Advance..........
    Regards,
    Reehan.

    Reehan,
First of all thanks for following everything I had mentioned. I remember the thread quite well.
    Asnwering your question,
    ><i>Here my doubt is from where this IDOC will come as u are not importing IDOC into Repository.
    Please need clarification..</i>
When the Idoc is triggered from the SAP system , the first thing that happens is that it tries to locate the Business System registered in the SLD for it. It uses the logical system name to be able to do this.
After it locates the bsuiness system, this is used as the sender service and the idoc name and the idoc namespace are used as the Sender interface and interface namespace.
Next, using these details, the runtime integration engine of XI is now able to fill the SOAP header for these details and these details are used in the pipeline steps of XI ( Receiver determination ) to determine the receiver and so on.
The idoc imported in the IR is used just to allow us to have the Idoc metadata for mapping in the IR . The actual runtime metadata is not dependent on the Idoc improted in the IR.
    Regards
    Bhavesh
PS : Did this scenario work?

  • IMPORT IDOC  from r/3 to xi

    hi all ,
i have one customize idoc in r/3 .how i import that into xi,
    please help me.
    thanks and regards.

1     Expand the subnodes for the software component version for which you want to import interfaces.
    2.       Call the context menu for the Imported Objects subnode of this software component version and choose Import of SAP Objects.
    3.       The first step of the import wizard is Logon. Enter the user that you want to use to import the interfaces from the SAP system. To display the connection data for the SAP system, choose Display Connection Data (). You can also overwrite the connection data temporarily in the expanded area.
    4.       The second step of the import wizard is Choose Objects. Select the RFCs and IDocs that you want to import. After approximately one minute, the import wizard displays the objects on the Objects tab page (sorted alphabetically) and on the Component Hierarchy tab page (sorted by application components).
    5.       In the third step, Execute Import, you can delete RFCs or IDocs from the list of selected objects. To execute the import, choose Finish.

  • How to import Adapter's in Integration directory

    Hi,
How to import Adapter's in Integration Directory which we can use in communication channel.
    Thanks
    Hari

    Hi,
The 3rd party adapters must be installed via Deploy Tool or JSPM. But u should have a sda file with the adpater content.
see here for more details on JSPM
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/5006901f-925c-2910-5f98-9ae26cc07eca
Usually all these third-party developed adapters also developed pre-defined business content with mappings, but this does not mean that all the interfaces you have can use it. If you do not have any custom work, then you can automate it, but if there is custom work then you have to enhance or develop new maps.
For example, Seeburger has over 20 maps to convert EDI X12 to standard IDoc maps and vice-versa (INVOIC Idoc to 4010 etc).

Please reward points if it helps.

  • Can We Add Some More Fileds To the Imported IDOC ??

    Hi All,
Can We Add Some More Fileds To the Imported IDOC ??
If I Imported IDOC to IR. But I Want to Add Some More Fields To IDOC.
Then Can I Go For this Process ??? Is This is Correct ???
Please Correct Me If Iam Going Wrong
    1) Open the Imported IDOC in IR
    2) Export it as XSD File in to your Local Machine
    3) Add Necessary Fields & Save it
    4) Come to IR And Import it into external definition
Is this is the Correct way of Doing ???
If Not What is the Problem in Doing This ??
    Regards
    Vamsi

    Hello Vamsi,
That is NOT the correct way to play around with IDOCs.
the correct way is to create an enhancement to an exiting IDOC (this is done on the SAP R/3 side) after you craeted an enhancment you reimport the IDOC in XI from the R/3 and then you have a new structure with the new fields you need.
worst case scenario you can define a new IDOC type just with the fields you need.
you can check out the SAP library at http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005/helpdata/en/0b/2a60bb507d11d18ee90000e8366fc2/frameset.htm

  • How to import the data to Data manager

    Hi All,
I am new to MDM and need your help in handling the following issue
In our setup we are sending the Customer master data from R/3->XI->MDM (R/3-> XI IDOCs,  XI->MDM XML files).
with the help of extraction job in R/3 IDOCs r generated and XI has onverted these IDOCs to XML Files and created at MDM Server. Now my Question is how to import the Data from these XML files to Data Manager !!!!
Note : Import Map settings are done already in the system.
Can any one help me the steps requeired to get this data to Data manager .
and am I need to do some activity in MDM to import the data to Data manager each and every time or is there any automatic way of doing this .
    Please guide me.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi MDM User,
Generally there are 2 cases while importing the data,
    1) Initial Load
    2) Delta Load
Initial Load means importing the data into MDM at first time. This is usually done by manual importing
    without using import server.
Delta Load means importing the data into MDM when we have changes to existing data or added new data
to existing data. This is usually done by automatically using import server.
To manually import the data, just create a remote system and port in console and login into import manager
using remote system.Create ,save the map and execute the map. There is no other configurations needed.
To automatically import the data without manual intervention,we go for import server.
To let this happen we need to set some configuarations in mdis.ini file of import server.
Give the repository name, username and password which are set in console for that repository and also
give schedule time based on which import server picks the file from ready folder.
Go to the import manager , change the map and import action depends on your requriment and save that
    map.
and also you need to set port type as inbound and automatic and select the map which you saved earlier in
    MDM console.
As soon as we start the import server, it picks the file from ready folder of MDM server based on
configurations which we set in mdis.ini file and executes the map.
Here i am giving complete path of ready folder.
    SAP MDM 5.5> Server>Distributions>bp1bocap080.bp.co_MSQL> BP3_PoC_Customer> Inbound>Siebel> SIEBEL_OB_CUS_SIEBELCUS01> Ready)
This path has to be given in target directory of receiver communication channel of XI so that it puts XML
    file in the above path.
For better understanding,go through below blogs.

  • About Importing IDOC.

    Hi Guy's,
When we are Importing IDOC from SAP side after adding a extra field to IDOC, Its not visible at XI side aftr Import. How we  wil  find that Field ?

    Hi kumar chaluvadi
if you want to add more fields in your idoc then you have to go for the idoc enhancement.
    steps for the iodc enhancement
    1. create the segment using the transactionwe31
    2. create the enhanced idoc type using the transaction we30
    3. link the msg type and the idoc type using the transaction we82.
if you still need clarification please reply me back.
    Thanks

  • Way to change the  Message based on Imported IDoc

    Hi,
I just want to know if there is way to change the message based on Imported IDoc?
Basically I imported an IDoc from R/3, this Imported Object would display just one of the Segment for where there are  max allowable limit is n segment (the same segment), now during message mapping I need to have more than one Segment of same type...Wasn't sure how to add more segments?
    Thanking in advance

    Hi Rajan,
If I have understood you correctly you,you mean that you have imported an Idoc with a segment with cardinality 0..unbounded(n) and you want to reproduce the segment n times in the target structure.
you need not change the cardinality. This needs to be done in the mapping itself.just map the source structure to the target segment, handling the context properly such that for every occurence of the source structure the corresponding segment is produced in the target.
