How to import modified files back into Muse

Maybe this is an easy sync issue....hopefully.
I've exported my html files from Muse (after publishing to Biz Catalyst) and want to modify the html, such as ad href's to divs in the slideshow, etc. How can I import these modified html files back into Muse so I can publish back to Business Catalyst?
I realize it's an easy solution to host the exported files on another server, but I'd really like to stay within the Muse/Biz Catalyst environment with updated html's.

There isn't a way at this time to import HTML files into Muse and expect it to load in Design mode for a subsequent re-publish. The only kind of editing that Muse supports today (outside of Muse) is through Business Catalyst's In-Browser editing feature but that is limited to editing only text (without any formatting or styles) and foreground images <http://www.adobekb.com/working-with-in-browser-editing_pt01.html>. Feel free to submit your feature request over at our Ideas section.

Importing data file back into blank PDF - some data fields don't populate

I have created a writable PDF in Adobe LiveCycle 8. Once the form is completed the person filling out the form submits by email. The email is successfully received and the data file is complete (opening it in a browser verifies this). However, when I use try to import the data back into the PDF file (by opening Adobe Pro | blank form | managage form data | import data - only some of the fields are populated. I need this data to repopulate the form so I can print it and I also need to export it to Excel for other purposes. What am I doing wrong?

Check the binding on the fields that don't populate and see that it is set to something other than None.

How to import from iPod back into iTunes?

Old computer (with iTunes synched to iPod) crashed and died suddenly, with effectively no recovery ability for iTunes Library.
'No problem', I thought, because the music's all still there in the iPod...right?
Yes, but I know see iTunes 'synch' function wants to delete the iPod music because it doesn't match the music now in the (newly downloaded onto the new computer) iTunes Library.
Any ideas on how to sync music backwards, i.e. from the iPod back to iTunes???

I can't speak for other people or other systems, but after a puter crash (and recovery) here's how I got all my iPod songs back into iTunes using Windows XP:
1) While holding Ctrl+Shift, plug in iPod to computer (via USB cable).
2) Still holding Ctrl+Shift, if iTunes opens, close it.
3) Open My Computer (on Desktop) and click on iPod.
4) Find file called "iPod Control" and copy it.
5) Create new folder (anywhere) and paste "iPod Control" there. It will take several minutes to load.
6) Right click on new copy of "iPod Control", choose "Properties" and uncheck attributes "Read Only" and "Hidden".
7) Disconnect iPod from computer and open iTunes.
8) Click "File" at upper left then click "Add File to Library".
9) Browse for your new folder, open it to find "Music", open "Music" to find "F00, F01, F02, etc.
10) Open "F00" and hit Ctrl+A to select all files in "F00", then choose "Open" from popup menu. Files will copy to iTunes.
11) Repeat procedure for "F01", "F02", etc. until all files are copied.
12) Do not delete new folder.

Can't import mbox file back into Mail

Hi,
I archived my "sent messages" folder two months ago, and it became a mbox file of 5GB.
Now I as trying to import it back to mail, but it doesn't work.
I went to "Import Mailboxes", and selected "mbox files" in the Import window. Then I clicked "continue",
and chose the "sent messages" mbox file (user library > Mail > Archive mail).
Smaller mbox file appear in the next window, but this large one doesn't.
Does anyone know if there is a way to get access to this data?
I would be very grateful to get some hints...

If this was archived from Mac OS X Mail, then choose "Mail for Mac OS X", not "mbox files".

ERROR message! importing Motion files back into FCP. please help.

ok...so i started my project, everything worked seamless from fcp to motion and back...and then bam! error: 1 file recognized, 0 access denied, 1 unknown. ive done everything that i know, ive reinstalled, fcp studio and operating system...ive been over every setting...ive deleted preference files, repaired permissions... now my old motion files that were created before the error message still import just fine...can anyone help? i hate to outsource something i can do myself...

Have you tried changing the extension on the motion file? You can label it .mov and see if FCP recognizes it then.

Importing .emlx files back into mail....please help

Hi, I am running the most current version of Tiger and Mail.
A few months ago, I accidentally deleted an account on mail.
This deleted all my emails from the inbox having to do with that account.
The other day, I bought File Salvage and salvaged a bunch of .emlx files that were old emails having to do with that account I deleted.
I would double click on one, and it would open just like a window in mail.
So I tried to drag and drop them into the fold were my other .emlx files were, hoping that when I relaunched mail, they would appear in the inbox I already have. But they never did. I am wondering if there is some way I can import them into mail again.
Any help would be appreciated greatly.

After selecting Mail for OS X for the type of data to import from, the text below reads:
"You will not be asked for the location of a folder containing mailboxes created by another copy of Mail for OS X."
The "location" of a folder containing mailboxes is not within the Recover.mbox folder. This is the actual location of the Recover.mbox folder.
Where is the Recover.mbox folder located? If on the Desktop, you select the Desktop for the location and then OK.

Is it possible to import the website I completed in Muse from the ftp server back into Muse?

I have lost the Muse files for my site (due to a stolen laptop). Is it possible to download the site files from my ftp server and import the files back into Muse (without having to rebuild the entire site)? My site is hosted by GoDaddy cPanel, and I am running Windows 7 on my (new) laptop. Bumming out here and could use some help. Thanks!

Yes, go to your GoDaddy control panel and somewhere there will be a download your HTML button.

How can I import an ibook file back into iBook Author?

I exported an ebook from iBook Author thinking it is the equivalent of saving the file.
I did not save the file, I only exported it and than exited the program.
My active file is vannished.
I need to make some adjustments to the ebook, but can not bring it back up.
Is there a way that I can re-import the iBook file back into iBook Author?
When I open iBook Author and try to open the exported file the program does not recognise the ibook file...

Check for previous versions of that book in iBA....even if not saved.
You can dig into the .ibooks file by changing the suffix to zip, but you'll have to manually extract what you can from assets you find. Please only do this with your own books.

What version of iPhoto?
Select one and rotate it. Then rotate it back. Does that make it appear?
A much better work flow is the keep the photos after importing. Check the success the import, wait for at least one successful backup cycle then use you camera's format command to reformat the card

The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Can a Muse file be animated and brought back into Muse intact?

Hey guys,
Basically what I'm trying to do is create a navigation bar in Muse, then bring it into Edge Animate, animate each link, then bring that back into Muse intact (rollovers, active states, etc.). Now, I've kind of got it doing what I want, but the problem is I can't resize the stage in Edge, meaning that the animation comes back as HUGE when I import back into Muse
Do I need to manually edit some divs inside of Edge? Is that even possible? I'm still pretty new to both programs so of course I'm trying to get them to do something they probably weren't inteded to.
If I have to I'll just create the menu in Muse and be done with it, but I really want it to animate in.

The problem is the size of the div and the fact it has a white background blocking the rest of the site. Otherwise it basically works but covers up my BG image which is kind of an important part of the site...

A bit late in reply here, but you can publish a CP lesson to a Word document, which I'd imagine the translator could then use...
(Publish > Print > then pick a 'Type' that works best)
And if PPT is really needed, then you can import the Word document into PPT, though how effective...I don't know:

Or send the file from your computer to your ipod by emailing yourself the pdf. Then if you open the Mail client and you open the pdf there is an option to select open in ibooks. It will save it to your device for remote viewing.
