How to Import Music/Playlist with program on one Hard Drive and Music on a different Hard Drive
So today I installed an SSD onto my PC and installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 on it and put my old hard drive as the slave so that I can just use that for storage and the SSD for the OS and the programs I use. The only program tossing me for a loop on how to configure it to pull its data from the HDD is iTunes. I have the latest version of it installed as of 3/11/15 and I thought it'd be as simple as changing where it looks for the music to my HDD. Unfortunately not, it imported some of my music before I even had a chance to do that but not all of it and it didn't import the playlist. Hopefully someone else has done something similar to me and can help me out.
Assuming that your complete iTunes library (database, media folders, artwork, ...) is on the older drive, just hold down SHIFT while you start iTunes; when you get this prompt:
click on Choose Library..., navigate to the iTunes library folder on the old drive, select the iTunes Library.itl file you'll find there, and click Open.

It took me over 3 hours to make my playlists on my other computer. Is there some way to have the songs appear in the new computer's playlists?

It is created ONLY for other applications to use the iTunes library. -

No need to "import". Just find the photo in iPhoto (i.e. within the application), click it once so it's highlighted with a blue outline, then select Edit menu > Copy (or just ⌘-C). Go to Address Book, select the contact, click the Edit button at the bottom, click once on the blank photo icon so it's highlighted with a blue outline, then select Edit menu > Paste (or just ⌘-V).
FYI, the original iPhoto images are stored as individual files, in ~/Pictures/iPhoto Library/Originals/subfolders.

when you transfer print forms from one sap system to another, logos are not transfered automatically. these are actually .bmp files which need to be existing in every client. then only when you run your print program logo can be seen in your print output. hence logos need to be created explicitly in every client where you want to run your print program.

When I import a cd with more than one artist itunes shows each artist's song separately and won't group the album as a whole - this is incredibly frustrating something that Windows media player doesn't do. Does anyone have a simple cure for this annoyance?

Only iTunes purchased music can hava a cloud icon and then only if the music was purchased with the account listed in Settings>iTunes and App Store on the iPod.
Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?

If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

Thanks anyone!Just reinstall. Unless something's seriously wrong with your computer, you won't lose any content or settings. Of course it's always wise to have a backup before you make any changes to your computer.
Might I ask what problem you're experiencing that you think will be corrected by reinstalling iTunes?

I just received an email receipt from Paypal showing a $12.99 purchase from iTunes. I almost NEVER purchase anything over around five dollars in the app or music store. Since PayPal does not show what this purchase was for, I have not received the receipt from Apple yet, and I cannot find anyway to look up online what this purchase was for....I need help to find out ASAP what this purchase was. If my account has been compromised or if I have been incorrectly charged for something, I would like to get the issue handled immediately. I do not want to install iTunes on my PC (nor should I have to for Pete's sake), but I cannot see anything recent at all in my app or music history on my iPad (not that I would ever purchase anything for $12.99 anyway...I just don't). Not quite sure exactly what you want to do, but you cannot do it on a PowerBook. iCloud requires Lion and Lion requires an Intel MacBook or MacBook Pro.
