We currently do not offer batch downloading.
so, if you don't like to manually ctrl-click 'Download picture', I would give the sharer a call to send you the folder of pics to you by mail ...............
btw: question is little related to iMovie/video editing, isn't it

  • How to import pictures from folder to Bridge

My problem is that I don't know how to import photos from my external hard drive to Adobe Bridge. No problem importing from camera, but I cannot find a way to import from anywhere else. Does anyone know how?

All you need to do is open Bridge and then in the Folders Panel click on the external drive and drill down to the folder you want.
And if you want the files on your main drive just drag and drop the files from one disk to another and they will be copied to that new location. For other options you are used to have in Photodownloader:
Adobe has a free DNG converter for download and renaming and adding metadata template can be done also in Bridge with batch rename or select the files for same metadata together and fill in once.

How to import photo from album in Iphone into computer?

You can't. You can import from the Camera Roll only.
Photos transferred from your computer to your iPhone via the iTunes sync/transfer process should remain on your computer. Photos transferred from your computer are optimized for viewing on your iPhone via the iTunes sync/transfer process - the original resolution of these photos is reduced, which is why transferring these photos in the opposite direction is not supported. These photos should remain on your computer and be included with your computer's backup.
There are some 3rd party paid utilities that provide for transferring these photos in the opposite direction but such utilities are not supported by Apple and the original resolution of these photos will be lost.
    Here is one such utility.

  • How to save photos from an external memory

How do I save photos to my new MacBook Air from an external memory (StoreEdge)? And how do I know where the photos that I can view in Iphoto are stored? I thought I had copied a whole Iphoto library from StoreEdge to my MacBook, but when I try to remove the StoreEdge it says that it's not possible because it's being used.

You can import the photos into iPhoto by using the iPhoto File menu "Import to Library."
The default location for the iPhoto Library is username/Pictures/iPhoto Library
You should only work with the library using iPhoto (i.e., don't attempt to open the library and work with the files inside directly from Finder).

  • Duplicated photos when importing pictures from an external hard drive

I've just bought a Macbook Air and am trying to import all of my photos from an external hard drive (I was previously using Windows 7).
I started off by importing them to iPhoto but lost all of my folders and found it hard to organise the pictures so then stopped doing that, deleted all the pictures and started again. My next attempt was to open 'Pictures' in the Finder window and I then dragged and dropped the folders of photos from my external drive into this window. The pictures all copied inside the folders but as well as the original photo it's also created another folder for each picture with the same name as the photo but ending in .files. Inside the file is two additional copies of each folder starting with the name 'vcm_s_'. One photo seems to be a high res version and the lower a low res version. See an example of this below:
Anyone have any idea why it's created these folders and how I stop it happening?
    Thank you!

    Thomas
Drag them to the iPhoto Window or use the File -> Import command.

  • I installed Snow Leopard and now I can't import pictures from iphone or memory chip.

I installed Snow Leopard to my Mac Book Pro and when I went to import pictures from my Iphone 4 to the Mac I received a message that it could not read the files.  I also tried importing pictures from my camera's memory card and got the same error.  This hadn't happened before the installation of Snow Leopard, what could it be?

update SnowLeopard to its latest version, v 10.6.8, and alongside that also your iTunes to v10.5
Use disk utility to repair the OS permissions after all updates are in place.

  • How to import movies from iMovies to memory card

How to import movies from imovies to a memory card.

Well, if you mean transfer movies from the iMovie events folder, go to that folder as in Finder-movies-imovie events, and drag a copy to your card.
Or, you could finish making the movie, and drag the .mov file from your desktop or wherever you have it.

How do i import pictures from my computer to my I phone.

You just use iTunes, like you would for music, videos, podcasts, and books. Connect your iPhone to your computer, click the iPhone, click the Photos tab across the top of iTunes and choose where you want photos synced from.
You can get aditional information here -> iOS: Syncing with iTunes
And, when you're ready to import photos from your iPhone into your computer, take a look at this -> iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer

  • How to import pictures from Filesystem directly into subcatagory

Until now I import pictures via the File Menue into the "big pot". Then I try to find the files in this "big pot" and draw it by drag/drop into the desired catagory/sub - sub - sub ..... catagory. It is not easy to find such imported files among several 1000 pictures especially if they have different dates. So is it possible to import selected files directly from the filesystem into a subcategory.

  • How can I put a folder of backed up pictures from my iOS device into iPhoto so iPhoto automatically puts them in events (organized by date)?

I have an album of a bunch of pictures collected over the course of two years.  They are from my old iPhone, and I didn't have a mac at the time.  So on my pc, I just backed all my pictures from my old iPhone into a folder.  Now I have a mac, and just like when you plug your iPhone in it allows you to upload them in organized events, how can I do that with folder of images?  They all still have the date, so I don't know why it doesn't automatically sort it by date.  Anyhow, thank you so much for your feedback!

When you import photos that is what happens - not by months but by the setting you have in your iPhoto preferences

  • How do i import movies from my sony camera into iphoto?

When I imported my photos from my sony cybershot into iphoto my videos did not come along with them. I've been using a canon with canon image browser until now and never had this problem. HELP!

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Launch Image Capture, located in the Applications folder, connect the camera and manually upload the movie files to a folder on the desktop. Then import into iPhoto.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
