How to import Vendor Hierarchy

Hello,
In R/3 a new Vendor Hierarchy Category has been created using transaction MKH1. How can this hierarchy be imported into BW to be used as a hierarchy for vendor in reports.
I've tried importing this hierarchy with the standard datasource 0VENDOR_LKLS_HIER but it is not included in the list of available hierarchies. Is there anything to activate in R/3 to add it to the list or is there another datasource to import such a hierarchy?
Thank you in advance.
Emmanuel

Hi....
Go to RSA5 in your R/3 system and Install this datasource
SAP-R/3 -> LO -> LO-IO -> 0MATERIAL_LKLS_HIER
Goto BW Install this Object and its Datasource from the Business Content.
In RSA1 goto Source systems and select your source system and replicate it by right clicking on it. Then you will find this datasource.
create the Infosource in the Infosources tab and Assign this datasource and activate it.
Create the Infopackage for this Datasource and select the Hierarchy datasource and schedule them.
In this way you can load the vendor Hierarchy from R/3.
Hope this helps you........
Thanks==Points as per SDN........;)

  • How to use Vendor Hierarchy in Vendor Rebate Agreements

    Hi Friends,
I need to use vendor hierarchy in vendor rebates agreements.
Here are some inputs from my end so far I have done:
Customizing Settings for vendor hierarchy and rebate agreement (agreement type 3000 and condition types A003/ A004) have been done.
While creating the PO after creating rebate agreement (MEB1) I am able to see all higher partner functions (2A,2B,2C,2D) at header level in PO under partners.
    I have (say ) 3 vendors V1, V2, V3 (V1 being highest) set up in vendor hierarchy (MKH1).
My requirement is; if my company make any rebate agreement with vendor at any node below the highest in the vendor hierarchy then that business volume should be taken in consideration for rebate purpose with the vendor at higher level while making any agreement with him.
I request you to please let me know how to set up this.

    Hi lvshaolong,
Thanks a lot for your reply.
I believe I have not misunderstood the business scenario.
But may I request you to tell me the process steps for the senario you told which is "Normally , you define condition with highest node in hierachy and then you can refer to it when you do biz with the lower nodes". How vendor rebate process takes place this scenarion (I mean process flow).
This might help me to find some solution further.
    More input from my end:
When I am creating the PO against a vendor included in the vendor hierarchy(after agreement), rabate condiion A003  or A004 is not appearing in pricing and hence during BV comparison, system does not find any data to update.

  • How to import Hierarchy Data in MDM 7.1

    Hi All,
I am trying to import the hierarchy data to SAP MDM 7.1
I have the data in the Excel sheet in the following structure
Parent Code   Parent Name   Child Code   Child Name
    A1                  Printer              P1               Inkjet
    A1                  Printer              P2               Canon
    P1                   inkjet                Q1               Model - XXX
    P2                   Canon              Q2              Model - YYY
In MDM i have 2 fields in the hierarchy table Code and Name as display fields.
I tried to do partition of fields, combine fields as per the Import documentation. But i was not able to import the hierarchy.
I have also seen some papers on SDN for Hierarchy import, but none of them talk about 2 display fields in the hierarchy table.
Can anyone help me to import the data to MDM.
    Thanks,
    Priya.

    Hi Priya.
You have three level hierarchy in your example
        A1    !     Printer
             P1   !    inkjet
                Q1   !    Model - XXX
Parent Code ! Parent Name  ! Child Code ! Child Name
    in your import manager
    select "Partition Field/value" Tab
In source partition window select  your "Parent code" filed
    press add
    select  your "Parent name" filed
    press add
in window "Partition by:" select "Parent name" and "Parent code"  fields  and press "Combine" button
for next fields you sould repeat previous steps
    then  select "Map Fields/values"
find  in Field mapping Source field:  "Parent code [Partition]"
    map it to "Code"
    in "Values conversion mapping" window
select all walues and press "Add" button then Add as Child

  • Error while Importing Vendor Master records

I get the following error when importing vendor Master records into the MDM repositorry
Cannot import qualifiers because the qualified lookup field is not mapped.
I noticed that the file I'm importing contains 1000 vendors. However the qualified lookup table "PHONE" for the vendors contain only 388 records.
After I imported the records I found that there was only 389 records in the repository.
I'm using standard map provided by SAP.
I ran the import again but this time I unmapped all fields for the qualified update.
Now the Import Manager uploaded the remaining 613 records.
I would like to know whether how I can load 1000 records in one load rather than having to go through the file twice.
This is important since I want to use the import manager server for my loads.
    Thanks
    manoj

    Hi Manoj,
    Try the following options.
    1. In the Import Manager, Select Configuration->Options
set <b>"Merge qualified links using matching qualifiers value to Off"</b>
    2. In the Map Fields/Values tab in Import manager, select the qualified field in which you are trying to import, right clik on the field->select Set Qualified Update -> Update -> Select All available qualifiers into Matching qualifiers->
    New Links- Create
Existing Links -> Update (All Mapped Qualifiers).
Hope this should solve your problem.
    Thanks and Regards

  • Vendor Hierarchy in MDG

    Hello experts,

Also some inputs from MDG BP perspective, why is it different

  • Pricing and vendor hierarchy

    Hi Gurus,
Can you pls explain that how pricing workings with vendor hierarchy.  I set up a vendor hierarchy and would like to have an outline agreement with the parent and the children should be able to inherit the agreement price.  Can this work?  Or Vendor Hierarchy for reporting purpose only?  thank you so much!!!

    Hi,
Use following condition tables for pricing; (M/05)
    107 Vendor Hierarchy
    108 Vendor Hierarchy / Material
    109 Vendor hierarchy: vendor sub-range
    Access Sequences used are; (M/07)
    0011     Vendor hierarchy
    0012     Vendor Hierarchy Material
M/06 - Create Condition Types for Discount on Vendor hierarchy basis and assign Access Sequences 0011 or 0012 as per requirement
M/08 - Insert these condition types in MM Pricing

  • Vendor Hierarchy  and purchase orders

    Hi,
We have activated the vendor hierarchy and it's working in purchase order, but we want to control the same.  for Example, we have assigned  X  and Y as goods suppliers in Vendor Master of A in partner function.
and system shows the same when we create purchase order but we can skip it or change the name of goods supplier in purchase order which we don't want to do,
So pls help us how can we control the same,  we want in purchase order,  we can assign only a goods supplier which will be either X or Y not beyond that.
    Pls advice.
    Thanks
    Sandeep

Go to IMG - Material management - Purchasing - Partner determination - Partner setting in Purchasing document - Define Partner schema..
Here make a partner schema with GS (Goods supplier) as No Change...
Then go to the next step i.e. Assign partner schema to Document type..
Here assign the schema created it the previous step to the document type u want (for eg. NB - standard PO... Assign the schema created)
This will not allow you to change supplier field in standard PO.

  • Workflow notification on importing to hierarchy table

    Hi!
I came on the following problem:
I use MDM Import Server to load some records from XML-files to flat and hierarchy tables. And I also want to receive e-mail notification with the list of imported records when import is finished.
So for each of the table (flat and hierarchy) I created a workflow, an import map and a port. Every workflow consists of the following steps:
    Start-> Notify->Stop.
In the Body property of the Notify step I used variable %Records% to display the list of imported records in the text of e-mail notification.
But when I imported to flat table everything worked fine and I got e-mail notification with the list of records, but when I tried to import to the hierarchy table, the records from the file were imported to the table, the workflow was triggered, but I didn't receive any notification.
But when I used in the Body property of the Notify step simple text without variable %Records%, the notification came. But I need to receive the list of imported records.
How to solve this problem? Can MDM send notifications with the list of records imported to hierarchy table?
    Thanks,
    Vika

  • FM to import a hierarchy selection...?

    Gurus,
I need to advice the BW team with a FM.I have to write a routine to call a function module that imports a hierarchy selection and uses that selection as a criteria to filter on transactional data from an BW infocube.  That data will then be converted to a flat file.
Is there a standard SAP function module we can call to use as a selection criteria for a hierarchy.
    Please suggest...Kindly help...

    Hi Srinivas,
It is not just one hierarchy...there are number of hierarchy sets that have to be read and included in the selection criteria for the infocube...I will try an explain more....In infocube we can use filter to filter the data...now in that filter there is an option of an routine...I have to write that routine that reads the corresponding hierarchy set and include it in the selection criteria...
Example: Profit center will have a routine that will read the profit center hierarchy set amd include it in the range of the selction criteria...
am i able to explain...I have no knowledge in BW so its hard for me to explain....
How can i read the sets...IS there a FM that i can use...please guide me....

  • Vendor Hierarchy and Contract Hierarchy

    Hi SRM friends,
Have anyone worked on Vendor Hierarchy and Contract Hierarchy scenario in SRM?
We want to implement GOA (Global outlline agreement)with main vendor and operations supplies from local dealers of the main vendor.
How to implement this process in SRM 5.0 and how to create procurement contract from GOA.
    Thanks for your help.
    Best Regards
    Tushar

    Hi,
Hierarchal Contracts can be accessed through Catalog. So when you create hierarchal contracts transfer it to catalog & then you can use those.

  • Creating Vendor Hierarchy?

    Dear BWers,
I need to create a Hierarchy in BW for Vendor that is based on table LFMH. Can anybody please guide me through the steps of creating the datasource in R/3 for a hierarchy. Also is 0VENDOR_LKLS_HIER based on LFMH? How do i find that? Thanks for all the help.

    Dinesh,
The second link seems to be right for me for creating a custom datasource for a hierarchy in R/3 for 0VENDOR. Can you please describe this procedure for doing this in R/3? Also can i customize the available datasource 0VENDOR_LKLS_HIER so that it takes data from table LFMH which is the vendor hierarchy table in R/3.
The procedure suggested in the second link by you:
Sice you do not have any hierarchies available you would need to build the hierarchy using a function module extractor. In the extractor you need to populate the parent nodes, child nodes, intervals, etc from any table/view. You would use the Type Group "RSAP" for creating the hierarchy.
    Thanks

  • Import of hierarchy through XML

    Hi ..
In one of my scenarios,i need to import the hierarchy through XML structure. Can anybody guide me how to do that..
    Regards
    Biswanath

    Hi Biswanath,
    I could not make out your querry; There can be two questions from it;
    1) Structure of XML for importing into hirearchy :
    A)  This is going to normal structure where in you have a single parent and there on some childs with there heirearchy as you would write an normal xml hirearchy
    2) How to use an XML hirearchy in import manager
    A) If you are calling the hairearchy table in main table where in you have a look up feild. then you can map that look up feild of hirearcy table to the xml feild and then go the bottom pane of value mapping; in case you have this hirearchy already there then just map it. or else you have a option to add this hirearchy to the existing hirearchy. there in you will be asked wether it should be added as sibling or child; select any one of the options and its done..
    Cheers,
    Cherry.

  • Import vendor/PO

    Hi sap guru's
can any one give me step by step solutions of following
A]  How to Creating Import vendor
         B] Creating customs vendor
C] Imports defining pricing procedure order
         D] creating import purchase order
    thanks

    HI,
A] How to Creating Import vendor
    B] Creating customs vendor
These two steps can be performed via tcode XK01.
Make sure that you assign the schema group vendor in the purchasing screen while you create vendor so that when you select this vendor in the PO, import pricing procedure gets picked up.
I would like to give u some conditions types which should be helpful in imorts procedure
    Freight
    Insure
    CIF CHARGES= Freight + insurance
    Customs % BCD
    IN CVD CVD
    ECS on CVD CESS
2 nd Edu. Cess % ECESS
    Additional Duty ADC
    Landing Charges
    Port Charges
    Clearing agent charg
    Local Transport
These are some of the things which come into picture in imports
    Procedure in imports
    1. create import PO with all the duties. But here there are some duties which are supposed to be paid to the customs. so we select the condition type and click on conditiondetail icon and here we enter the Customs vendor number and save the PO.
    2. if release of PO is there release
    3. then invoice is made with customs vendor by selecting planned delivery costs in the options on the right of the screen
    4.Then capture excise invoice J1IEX_C
    5. Then do a GR with PO
    6. Then post excise invoice J1IEX_P
    Thanks & Regards,
    kiran
    7. Then again do a envoice with the same PO number but select Goods/Service Items on the right.
This is the procedure to be followed for import cycle in CIN
    thanks & Regards,
    Kiran
