How to import whole song in WaveBurner

Hi
When I import into WB it imports all the different tracks i have eg guitar, drums synth sepratly and not as one song
. How do I get it to condence all my tracks into one song.
cheers!

You're missing a step.
Once you've recorded all the parts of your song, you need to create a mix. This is where you adjust levels of instruments, apply effects, add reverb if you want, and mix the entire song down to a single stereo file.
This is then the file which you load in to WaveBurner to make further adjustments and burn Cds.
It sounds like you're just starting out. You might want to do some reading. You can get some helpful articles here:

  • Hard Drive Crash--How to import IPod Songs???

    If anyone can help...
My HD crashed and got replaced. All my music is on my IPod. I cannot figure out how to get the music from the IPod into my new ITunes...I can't save it as a file or CD since it's all gone from the dead HD.
    Please help!!! Thanks a ton!

For iTunes version 7 or later, then you can transfer purchased iTunes store music from the iPod to an authorized computer by using the "file/transfer purchases from iPod" menu. Note that the maximum of 5 authorized computers applies here.
Find out how to do that here.
How to copy iTunes purchases from an iPod to a computer.
For all other non purchased content (your own CDs etc) try this method which works on some Windows PCs.
Enable your iPod for disk use.
    See: iPod Disk Use.
Open iTunes and select edit/preferences/advanced/general. Put a check mark in the box marked "copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to library" and also "keep iTunes music folder organized", then click 'ok'.
Connect the iPod whilst holding down the shift/ctrl keys to prevent any auto sync, and if you see the dialogue window asking if you want to sync to this itunes library, click 'no'.
Then go to file/add folder, open 'my computer', select your iPod and click 'ok'.
The music files should transfer to your iTunes.
If this doesn't work (and it may not because officially it's not supposed to), check out the instructions/suggestions here.
Music from iPod to computer (using option 2). This a manual method using "hidden folders" and although it works, it is a little more involved than other methods.
Much easier ways are to use one of the many 3rd party programs that copy music from the iPod to the computer.
One of the most recommended is Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music from iPod back to the computer. However, it does not transfer playcounts/ratings etc.
Another free program is Pod Player.
    SharePod is also freeware.
If you want to recover just the structure of playlists from the iPod (and not the actual song files themselves), there's iRepo for Windows. which I understand has this feature along with all the standard features for these programs.
iPodRip also has the feature enabling you to reconstruct playlists.
There is also CopyTrans. This does preserve ratings/playcounts etc if those are important to you but this program is not free. It also supports video transfer.

  • How to import multiple songs into iTunes

    Hello there...
I am fairly new to iTunes and am becoming frustrated with this particular issue. Prior to using iTunes, I used Kazaa, where whenever a song was added to My Shared Folder, Kazaa would update the library instantly. I want to have the same sort of thing with iTunes. For example, one of my friends filled my USB drive with music today. When I came home and plugged it into my computer, I dragged and dropped all the songs into my iTunes Music folder. I expected them to appear in the library, but they're not there. I don't know how to add them all to iTunes without importing them one by one. I suppose in this case I could import my entire USB drive folder, but what if someone sends me a handful of songs as an email attachment or over MSN? How do I import those?
    Thank you!
    Melody

iTunes for windows doesn't "Watch" folders and files for changes like other programs. You need to goto File>add folder to library so it will "Piont" iTunes to where the music is located on the system.

  • How to import a song in GB 8 ?

I'm on an imac with Tiger and using GB 08. I recorded a song in GB and have a copy of it on an external hard drive. How can I import from the external HD back into GB but, in a NEW song location ?

Make a copy of your GB projet where you want it and double-click on it.
Or open the original and make a save as...
But that would make you a new and an old version if you make change to it.
Maybe it's not what you want.

  • How to import ONE song (non-copyright protected) from iPhone to iTunes

I'm a musician and I want to import individual (original) songs from my iPhone into my MacBookPro iTunes, but via a rather convoluted path...
I record my own material into a MacPro in my studio, upload to a shared website to share file with the rest of the band, then download the file to my home iMac/iTunes.  From iMac I sync to my iPhone.  Now I want to import/transfer the song(s) from iPhone into my MacBookPro.  All songs are NOT protected (my own material), all computers are authorized with iTunes.  I can't figure out how to transfer individual titles from my iPhone to my MacBookPro.  I must be missing something very simple here...?
Thanks in advance for your help.
    Ian

The music sync is ONE WAY - computer to iphone.  The ONLY exception is itunes purchases.
You would have to use a third party program, not supported by Apple, if you wanted to do this.

  • How to import first song on burned cd if iTunes won't import it

Often I find that iTunes won't import the first track of a burned cd. It'll just keep cycling and eventually move to the next track. I use Exact Audio Copy to import the first song and then import it into iTunes. EAC has worked EVERY time and I have a lot of burns, of which maybe 1/4 have this problem.
You can get Exact Audio Copy here:
    http://www.exactaudiocopy.org/
You will need the LAME encoder to create mp3s:
    http://www-users.york.ac.uk/~raa110/audacity/lame.html
Just create a LAME folder somewhere and unzip contents to it, then point EAC to lame.exe

  • How 2 import all songs already on ur comp.

I had a bunch of songs, like 5000, on my comp.....w/ itunes....most of them were in AAC format. I dont know much about comps but i imported them from cds and itunes converted them to AAC format upon importing. My comp got messed up like a couple months ago and those songs were lost and i had 2 re-import them....I finally got done and my comp messed up again....and i opened itunes and the songs werent there. And the first time i opened itunes after the second mess up it offered 2 search for any songs stored on my comp.....and i clicked no....but now i realize that the songs are still on my comp....just not in itunes....and i could send them 2 itunes without a problem but i have 2 do it song by song which will take 4ever......is there any quick way 2 do this....I looked in itunes and couldnt find anything 2 click on that suggests doing what i want but maybe i missed it.....and help would be appreciated

In iTunes, go to the taskbar, click on File and Add Folder To Library. Find your music folders and so forth. It will put them back into iTunes.

  • How to import/copy songs from DVD storage to iTunes Library

My PB harddrive had a major failure resulting in total data loss. I have all my Itunes music copied to 5 DVDs (roughly 22g or 12 days of music). How do I get these back into my iTunes music library? I have tried:
    a) drag & drop copy from DVD (desktop folder) to harddrive/users/myid/music/iTunes/iTunes Music folder. This results in a transfer, but on opening iTunes, none of the music appears in the library. I tried "Advanced->Consolidate Library" but nothing happens; still no songs in the Library.
    b) drag & drop copy from DVD (desktop folder) to new desktop folder and then to consolidate library. Again nothing.
If I go to the folder and double click on any mp3 file, the song starts playing in iTunes, and is added to the library. BUT, it is impractical for me to click thru every song (>4000 songs).
    HELP

There are 2 ways to go:
#1 from itunes Menu - File choose "Add to library..." then select your DVD/tracks
#2 launch iTunes, drag+drop those tracks onto "Library" in iTunes' left column beneath "Source"

  • How to import .mp3 songs

How do I mport a .mp3 song into soundtrack so i can edit it and save for PowerPoint show?

Actually, I just figured it out... I found the .mp3 file listed under the bin tab in my lower pane. I then just dragged and dropped it into one of the tracks in the upper pane. I'm not the correct way to get the .mp3 file to appear under the bin tab. It showed up after I opened the file in final cut and then sent it to STP. I'm sure there is an easier way.

  • Please help:  iTunes won't import whole songs!

I have put my old hard drive (which contained all of my music) into my new computer, and added all the tracks into iTunes on the new computer. Unfortunately, some of the tracks cut off prematurely, even though the track shows the correct time (it just goes right to the next track instead of running completely through). Short of manually importing each CD back into iTunes, I'm not sure what to do. Can anyone please help? Thanks!

  • How to import whole OneNote notebook to Mac Growly Notes

I want to import PC OneNote files to Mac Growly Notes. Most threads recommend that we export as .doc, but this does not allow the export of entire notebooks. I have a lot of notes. Is there an easier way than exporting notes section by section? Would Growly take XPS (or some other format where I can export the whole notebook)?

Ask Microsoft or Growly support.  Your question is not related to anything Apple.

  • How to import a itunes libary

I have a very basic question that i cant figure out the answer to (i feel silly for asking). I just bought a mac and owuld like to import my itunes libray saved on a external library, how would i do that with out overiding the files saved on my itunes libary on my new mac? I tried file import and clicked the library file on the external hardrive but nothing happened. I know how to import individual songs, but how would i import the Libary with all the saved data (albums covers, ratings, and play count).

If i press option while launching itunes and launch the itunes library from my external hd, will it merge those files/info with the itunes library on my mac?
not automatically. first, you need to add whatever media files you have on your startup disk.
to do that, launch iTunes as suggested above and navigate to the library file on the external. next, go file > +add to library+ and navigate to the iTunes music folder on your startup disk. iTunes will move all media files found in the iTunes music folder on the startup disk to the external drive.
when that process is finished, check that all files have indeed been moved by right-clicking on random files you know where on the internal drive and choosing +get info+. go to the summary tab and look at the bottom of the +get info+ window. it will show you the path to the original file (which should be the external drive). if satisfied, you can delete the content of the iTunes music folder on your internal drive.

  • How to import songs from external drive to itunes in Leopard?

my computer had issues after installing leopard and i had to erase everything on my computer. since all of my music files from itunes are on my external hard drive, they are safe! but now that i'm starting from scratch on my iBook, how do i tell the computer to import all my music files to my itunes?
i mean, i know how to click one song at a time and import them one at a time but that would take a long time. is there any easier way?
    thanks much

Its very easy. I hope that you have all your music in one folder. Just drag that folder which contains every music you have to the iTunes icon in the dock. iTunes will open and copy every file on its own.
