That should definitely NOT be the case. A higher res, external, camera should only be required if you have unusual requirements with special needs.
Video chat quality should surely be "decent" with the built-in camera. If not, both you and your chat connection partners should try increasing your room light levels significantly. If lots more light does not resolve the problem, both ends of the connection should check broadband speed using something like http://speedtest.net/
Insufficient light and broadband speed lower than 500kbps both up and down at either end are the most likely causes of lowered video chat quality. If light is good and speeds at both ends of the connection is better than minimum but your video quality is unacceptable, test other Apple video capable apps, too, (examples: QuickTime, Photo Booth, iMovie.)
If the problem continues after these factors have been checked, ask your retailer to check whether your new MBA may need service or exchange.

Make sure when you add the printer it shows the printer's name and not Airprint.
(you might have to click the dropdown to select the printer's name)

You need to connect it to the computer using either USB or Thunderbolt. Setup is simply prepping the SSD:
Drive Partition and Format
1. Open Disk Utility in your Utilities folder.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Apply button and wait until the process has completed. -

iCloud can only create backups from iOS devices, not macs.
Also, you cannot copy a backup of an iOS device in icloud down to a mac. -

Hey daninz23, I know that device has a great camera and we want to make sure that you are familiar with all the settings, so you can make the most of the device. You would be able to change the camera resolution by opening the application and pressing the gear icon. That will open the Camera settings and from here you can change many of the camera settings, but for better quality you can change the Picture Size or resolution. I accidentally synced my mum's brand new iPad to my mac book air. A few days later I realised that my iTune library on my mac is completely gone. So is my iPhone 4s after I synced it with my mac. How do I get my old iTunes library back? I tried using icloud on my iphone but it stated that I have never back up my phone before. So I guess my iCloud data is gone too? But I have back up my mac in my harddrive using time machine. So how do I get my old itune library back? Please help! Thanks!
1) ensure iTunes is authorized for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it.

Use your computer's backup to transfer your iTunes library from your old computer to your new computer per the instructions included with this link, or do the same with both computers networked in some fashion, which shouldn't be hard to do if both computers are connected to the same wireless network.

Along with your OS and applications installation DVDs, you should have gotten an LE8 installation DVD along with its manual and serial numbers when you bought your iMac.
Your license allows you to install LE8 on two computers as long as they are your computers, you are the sole user, and you do not run Logic on both simultaneously. So dig out your installation DVD, install it on your MacBook Pro and enter your serial number and you will be good to go.
