How to improve performance of attached query -
How to improve performance of the program
I have this program which loops 3 times and in each loop it creates differents variants and calls the program passing these variants. Now the pple who run this program say that the performance of the program decreased. They say that if this run it takes 3times more time than running individual program 3 times seperately. Any ideas on how i should go about this. Seems like with in the loop the all the information about the second program which is being called is stored.Any ideas on how to clear the program memory with in the loop.
Let me explain in little more detail. The program which i wrote create variants in a loop and passes them to the report which is also called inside the loop like.
do 3 times.

Now what this report does is it just retrieves like 500,000 records and updates them to another table. -

Thanks,80% is just a relation and must not be problematic, what about the absolute runtime, is that acceptable?
Also, your range S_KUNNR could contain anything from a single value (super fast) to nothing (probably slow, depends on number of entries in KNA1VV), so what do you expect here?

I am using Oracle 10g. My problem is when i am Execute & fetch the records from the database it is taking so much time. I have created Statistics also but no use. Now what i have to do to improve the Performance of the SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE Statements.
Is it make any differents because i am using WindowsXP, 1 GB RAM in Server Machine, and WindowsXP, 512 GB RAM in Client Machine.

How to improve performance in the following PL/SQL
I'm running this PL/SQL in a Job step inside a UNIX job, is taking too long to finish and is a simple process to do but definetely there is something that I need to do.
I have to find records that are not included in my T_XREF table from my temporary table T_TEMP, identify those records and insert a new record with values located in the T_TEMP table into the T_XREF table.
T_TEMP has 2 millions records and T_XREF has 12,000 records, I have a Unique IDX in T_TEMP (claim,num_dtl) and a NON UNIQUE IDX by (7 fields).
on the T_XREF table I have 1 UNIQUE IDX (comp_key).

in my Cursor's query I'm forcing to do a IDX (range scan) and the result of that query is only 1300 rec after doing the DISTINCT of those fields. When starts analyzing record by record this simple script takes more than 10 hrs to run!!!

Even if there were a valid reason for PL/SQL the row-by-row cursor fetch construct has been obsolete for 6 years.
Do what Chris is suggesting here and then put away the cursor loops and learn how to write this code:

How to improve or get the right colours for my printer
Hey guys, I have just used an EyeOne to configurate the right colours of my screen. Just that when I use Photoshop or I watch at the pictures, I want to see them as they really are. I've done it, but now I have the second problem. It works for sending pictures, for sending them to print... But my printer(an Epson) prints them too dark and too redish.... But my screen is just perfect.
Do you know how can I manage to configurate the way to change the colours of my printer with some app or some configurator??

First, without a printer profile, you will get the most accurate print by using the printer manufacturers, in you case Epson, inks and papers.
You can use alternative, but quality inks, and alternative quality papers. Wether using these or Epsons, you will need a print profile.
The print profile will usually make a much larger difference than just calibrating your display.You will need a different profile for each paper and ink combination you use. Some paper manufacturers supply downloadable profiles, but these will only be accurate if all of the Epson printers of your model have identical characteristics, this is rare, hence the need for custom profiles. Some paper manufacturers will supply you with a custom profile free, or you simply download the target image, print following their instructions precisley and post the printed target to them for a custom profile. They then email the profile back to you. There are also commercial companies that do this to. Another option is to purchase a calibrator that profiles your display and printer, but that tends to be expensive. Please give me some suggestions as to how to improve the performance of adobe form?
Right now when I' am doing user events it is working fine for first 6 or 7 user events. From the next
one it is hanging.
I read about Wizard form design approach, how to use the same here.

The form is created using HCM forms and processes. I' am performing user events in the form.
User events will doa round trip, in which form data will be sent to backend SAP system. Processing will
happen on the ABAP side and result will appear on the form. First 6 or 7 user events works correctly,
the result is appearing on the form. Around 8 or 9th one, the wait symbol appears and the form is not
re-rendered. The form is of size 6 pages. The issue is not coming with form of size 1 page.
I was reading ways to improve performance during re-rendering given below.

It talks about wizard form design approach. But in SFP transaction, I am not seeing any kind of wizard.

You check in SM50 by executing the programing, You will come to know which select is taking more time and accordingly you modify that select.
You can do SQL trace and Run time analysis and analyse and see.
check this and use
1) Dont use nested select statements
2) If possible use for all entries in addition
3) In the where addition make sure you give all the primary key
4) Use Index for the selection criteria.
5) You can also use inner joins
6) You can try to put the data from the first select statement into an Itab and then in order to select the data from the second table use for all entries in.
7) Use the runtime analysis SE30 and SQL Trace (ST05) to identify the performance and also to identify where the load is heavy, so that you can change the code accordingly

Run Any program using SE30 (performance analys) to improve performance refer to tips and trics section of SE30, Always remember that ABAP perfirmance is improved when there is least load on Database.
