How to include animation files into muse test site on business catalyst?

Hi there
I am trying to publish a site created in muse to the business catalyst test website service for a client to review
in the website i created an animation that i have inserted as an HTML snippet (ie copied relevant code into "INSERT HTML"
The question is how do include the folder with all the files required to run the animation when i click "PUBLISH" to business catalyst?

Hello,
You can make the changes in .muse file and then publish it to the existing site.
It will automatically detect your old site when you click on File>Publish ONLY if you are using the same Adobe Id to upload the site which you used earlier to upload.
You can check which Adobe Id you are using by going into Edit>Preferences option and under Publish with Account youwill find the Adobe Id which is being used to upload the site.
you can change the Id (if required) by clicking on the dropdown and click on Switch accounts.

Enabling Client-Side Validations
In addition to providing a framework for simplifying server-side form data validations, Validator provides an easy-to-use mechanism for performing client-side validations. Each validation routine defined in the validator-rules.xml file optionally specifies JavaScript code that can be run in the browser (client side) to perform the same validations that take place on the server side. When run on the client side, the validations will not allow the form to be submitted until they have all passed.
To enable client-side validation, you have to place the HTML Tag Library's javascript tag in each JSP for which you want validation performed, as shown here:

The javascript tag requires that you use the formName attribute to specify the name of a <form> definition from the validation.xml file, as shown here, for which you want validations performed:

All the validations that you have specified for the <form> definition to run on the server side will be run on the client side.

My muse-built site on business catalyst isn't loading on all browsers and devices e.g. the full-screen video widget doesn't load or play, the scrolling doesn't work. Any advice? The site is gulch.businesscatalyst.com

Once you add the domain to Business Catalyst and finish all the DNS delegation steps listed in the article for launching a site on BC, your old site will no longer load and users will go to the new BC site. Your old hosting then could be discontinued with whichever vender you used. Be aware that DNS can sometimes take 24 hours to fully propogate so you should wait to make sure that things are all loading properly. -j

i want to create an applet where by selecting a particular radiobutton i get an animated object i saw a lot of gif files on internet and wanted to include them but when i save them on my PC they dont animate rather they are still pictures how do i include moving pictures into my applet

i know only basic java not yet done swing i just need to write a simple applet (not a sophisticated one without swing and all that advanced stuff) where we just include a few animated clips from web like a dancing boy , kitty etc etc and just include in the applet code .and i also want 2 know how do we save those animated files coz when i save them and open it they are still images and not moving ones

How to update my muse-made site on business catalyst

I was wondering if i want to make major changes to my site currently on business catalyst, do first need to delete the current version being hosted there and then push the newer version live in its place. and if so, will this mess up the url from godaddy currently associated with my bc site? thanks.

How to include .js files into JSPDynPage

I have created a startArcWebExplorer.js and saved it into the dist/scripts/ folder of my portal project. In my .jsp file I added the line
<script src="/irj/portalapps/PAFDPortal/scripts/startArcWebExplorer.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
What is the correct way to include a .js file in a JSPDynPage? Is there an easy way to use a relative path like ../../scripts/startArcWebExplorer.js or something similar?
When I preview the page in a portal iView, if the code is inline it works, however if I move it to the .js file it is does not work.

the path described sounds good and should work. If it doesn't, please check the file system (did you deploy you PAR as "PAFDPortal.par"?!).
Anyhow, the hardcoded name of course isn't that nice, you should use the generic method getWebResourcePath() on the PortalComponentRequest, see http://www.szif.cz/irj/portalapps/javadocs/runtime/com/sapportals/portal/prt/component/iportalcomponentrequest.html#getwebresourcepath() for details.

How to include .css file into jsp file in portal application

I have included a .css file in a .jsp file using following tag :
<link rel="<%=componentRequest.getWebResourcePath()%>/css/ts.css">.
I have kept .css file under /dist/css folder.
Preview of jsp file is fine but when I upload the jsp file and .css file to server, Look and feel of the screen is changing. When I paste the style code in jsp file, look and feel is fine.
Can some body suggest me that why the look and feel is changing when I put the style code in css file and include it in jsp.

I just tried adding the files as attachments; however I didn't like doing that because it increased the file size of my PDF document quite a bit.
I'm not sure if you're familiar with the "Insert Object" command in MS Word, but I want to do the same thing in my PDF document...but the key is, anyone must to be able to open the embedded file from any location.
I created an MS Word document with several embedded objects. I was later asked to PDF the Word document, but since embedded MS Word objects do not migrate to the PDF, I am now trying to embed the same files I embedded into my Word document into my PDF document over top of the icon image. The file types I'm trying to embed include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF. Does this make more sense? I want to create a hyperlink over top the icon image that was PDF'd from the MS Word document which allows any user to click on the link and open the separate file.

Just go for dynamic configuration.
Check the sender file adapter to write the filename in the header (as explained in Michal's blog) and then read that header in some mapping.
U can use that even in simple message mappings.

               Could any please tell me,How to include one view into another view.
In my requirment.I want to create a 'Z' view for an interface .In that view i have to take,
1) Ship-to-email adrr by
                          LIKP-KUNNR -> KNA1-ADRNR
                          KNA1-ADRNR -> ADR6-ADDRESNUMBER.
2) E-mail addr of person who created the document.i.e
    LIKP-ERNAM -> USR21-BNAME.
    USR21-ADDRESNUMBER -> ADR6-ADDRESNUMBER
    USR21-PERSNUMBER -> ADR6-PERSNUMBER.
   In both the case we have to pass ADDRESSNUMBER to ADR6 table.
If we pass these condition it fails,B'Coz at a time it passes Two ADDRESSNUMBER and a PERSNUMBER.
So i created two which fetches only the email addr of person who created the document.and another view fetches Ship-to-email addr.
Now i want to include the second view into first view . Is it possible?or please
tell me someother way to get these email addresses in a single view.

as per my knowledge, nested views are not possible. However, while creating a new view, selection method will not giv u option to select the already created view(S) except the tables..i think so.
