How to include movie/animation in pdf?

Hi,
When I save a keynote as pdf, it just insert the image for a movie. Is there a way to include the movie/animation within the pdf? (I know this is possible with latex).

It is interesting to hear that it can be done with latex. I thought it was only possible with high end pay for products like Adobe Acrobat. It is anyhow not possible with iWork.

  • How to include movie poster frames in iphoto contact sheet?

I cant see how to include movies in contact sheet.  Is it possible?  I'm using iphoto v8.0.2.

I suppose Old Toad's solution will work. However, this will change the dates on the originals and I don't think that is desireable in general.
I think there is a bug in the printing of contact sheets. If one selects all photos in an album that has been re-orded manually and then starts the print sequence, the initial sheet with 3 columns is ordered correctly. But, as soon as you try to change the number of columns the ordered reverts to date order of the originals.
Am I missing something or is this really a bug? If it is, how do I report it?

  • How to include Goole Map in PDF cfdocument

We have a Google premier license and use it to create maps displaying markers defined by database lat/long values.  I want to include one of the JS API generated maps inside a PDF we create using cfsavecontent and cfdocument.  However, the map canvas is always blank when viewed inside the resulting PDF. Is there any reliable way to do the cfdocument step *after* the map has loaded on the user's screen or save the map canvas to our server as an image so we can include it in the cfdocument?
Many thanks for any assistance provided.

  • How can I move a subscription PDF pro XI from PC to Mac?

I recently bought a yearly subscription for my PC to deal with PDFs (Pro XI). I now want to move it to my new iMac. Can this be done? Or do I need to buy another product just for a mac?
    thanks.

You need a different version for the Mac.  You can transfer to a new platform without purchasing a new license at full price if your intention is to remove it from the PC.
You can swap languages/platforms for a product you own if you follow the instructions at the following link:

  • How do I move a saved .pdf photo in adobe/acrobat to my photo gallery?

I currently downloaded Adobe Reader to so that I could view and download .pdf documents and photos. I also set up the acrobat program so that I could save the .pdf photos onto it. There is currently a picture I have that is a .pdf file that is saved in acrobat. However, I would like to know if there is a way I can save that to my photo gallery or photo stream so that I can then make it my wallpaper. I'm not even sure if this is possible, but any help would be appreciated!

  • How do i move pdf files from my macbook to the iCloud

I have 3000 pdf files on my macbook. How do I move or copy them to the icloud?

I haven't found any native Apple solutions to this dilemma, but I believe that third-party developers will soon take up the slack and make iCloud into a much more flexible and full-featured solution.  I also suspect that Apple will add more features and possibly a new version of iDisk, or something similar to it, before iDisk goes away next June.
As a good example of third-party developers coming to the table with solutions, the latest version of the iOS app GoodReader has been updated to use the iCloud sync features. You can open, store, and edit PDF files and they'll automatically sync with GoodReader on all other devices. Documents are stored in iCloud and will also sync with any Mac that is setup to sync with iCloud. The Mac will automatically have a folder where you can open synced files or add new files from your Mac. details of how to do this are in the GoodReader help files.
Note: I have no affiliation with GoodReader other than as a happy customer.

When you're looking at the list of documents, touch the Edit button at the upper-right. Then select the file you want to move by touching the check box to its left, and click the Move File icon, it's the third one from the left at the top of the screen. You'll be prompted to "Move selected document" after which the "Choose a location" dialog will appear to allow you to select a destination folder.

How do I move a PDF picture from an email on my iPad to my pictures?

You can't save a PDF directly to the photos app, but if you can open the PDF in the mail app and get the entire PDF to appear on the screen, take a screenshot of it and that will be saved to the photos app camera roll.
Hold down on the sleep button and the home button at the same time briefly until you see the white flash on the screen and hear the shutter sound. That's how to take a screenshot.
You should probably tap and hold down on the PDF in the mail app and select it to open in iBooks or another PDF app that you might have on the iPad.
