How to include multiple tabs in my show form

As per my requirement I want to include multiple tabs in my show form using xmlform builder , different tabs are required to display the news under different categories which will help the user to choose the required tab.

According to my understanding,
You are trying to create an xml template using xml form builder in such a way that once we publish the news using this template, it should be shown to the end user in the form of different tabs. Each tab will display some part of the news that we published.
Correct me if I am wrong.
The above functinality is not possible using xml form builder as far as I know. You should think of other ways to achieve it.

an ABAP transaction can only run or at least be started on one single system. A portal transaction can be assigned using a URL. This doesn't need any logical component.

How to save multiple tabs at once?

Before updating I had the option to save multiple tabs in one simple click. For instance If I had opened 5 tabs and I wanted to save them all at once in one group there was the option for it, now that option seems to have dissapeared? Can I get it back somehow? It was so easy... If not, can i install the earlier version of Firefox? I don't like it when good things dissapear...

You can do that by doing one of the following:
*Right-click on a tab and choose "Bookmark All Tabs"

Per my knowledge, when we edit the list form in InfoPath, the attachment control cannot be accessed.
And InfoPath form templates of types (compatibility) "SharePoint List Form" and "Workflow Form" are by Microsoft design (or under-mis-design) locked, non-modifiable and do not permit client custom code (from InfoPath
Designer in VSTA, Visual Studio for Applications).
So we cannot add more attachment control in InfoPath form for SharePoint list.
As a workaround, I recommend to use Multiple line of text field to store the attachments instead.

How to use Multiple Logos in One Smart Form?

All,
I have a client where they will have 2 logos for, e.g. "Invoicing" and want the form to decide which logo to print (based on plant code).
We are using Smartforms.
They want to use one form and based on the plant code - the form should determine which logo to print in the upper left corner of the invoice - how do you do this?
This is not like having text to print on the form in the same place - my understanding is the logo is NOT some variable you can "clear" in the program and then use the logo you wish to show up on the printout.
Does this have something to do with using multiple layouts within the same form? You define a layout for each logo and then within the Smartform logic determine which layout to print? And if that is true - does someone have sample code of how they determined which layout to use?

Hi Scott,
Create two Graphics in Smartform window & place them wherver you want in the smart form.
Now in Graphics node, you can find 'Conditions' tab, under this you can give the conditions.

I have a customer issue where in I need to demonstrate how to include the invoice tab (available in contact center form) into ebusiness center form.
My intention is to display Quote,Order & Invoice tabs in the same application.
I found Quote & Order in Ebusiness center (Telesales) and
Order & Invoice tabs in contact center (Teleservices).
But, I want all 3 in eigther in ebusiness center or in contact center.
Apps Version : 11.5.10 R3.
Module : Telesales
1. Is it possible to do as requested.
2.If yes, which is the easiest way to do so?

I hope you have implemented Oracle Order Management. If so, there is a self service application called Order Information Portal (OIP) that comes with Order Management. The responsibility required for this is Order Information Super User. This application gives you the details of the orders including quote number, order number, order details, lines, shipments and invoice. This application is built in OA Framework and can be "personalized" to hide the field that are not required. This can be done without any code change.

How to change the tab order in adf forms.

I design a from in adf jsff page.In the form i have 4 components. These components are surrounded with a panel form layout. Now if i put number of columns as 2 in the property inspector of the PFL.
Components appear as 2 fields in the first row and next two fields are in the second row.
Now my doubt is, when I tab out 1 field to another field. The tab out is Horizontal. But I want the tab out to be vertical. Please suggest how to make the tab out feature as vertical.

I don't think we have something called tab index in adf like in javascript. This may not possible in adf.

GR55 reports - How to include multiple selection of Orders in input screen

Dear Experts
We r stuck at the simple step in report writer, by which I could select multiple orders in selection screen.
I am using report liabrary 7KOJ and have used a copy of Std report (7KOJ_001) making a Z one.
I have comipled everything in this report with many formule to get the required output.
Now I want to execute thsi report, but I can execute it "only" for one order in selection.
I tried using another set ( same name) making it repeat at selection scren, but it does not work.
Is it possible to use multiple orders as selection criterion in this report library 7KOJ?
Pls guide me if I can use any other liabrary in which I can get
1. Actual line item costs
2. Actual line item Qty
3. Target costs per line item
4. Target Qty per line iem.
I am using this particular liabrary becuase I want to get following coloums in my report with an additional couple of coloumns which I had make some formulae.
1. Actual cost ( At the time of any line item posting in an order)
2. Variance ( target Qty valued at actual costs) - * I know that is something strange when you calculate variances, but this is how the requirement is , to calculate variance)

Please proceed as follows. By the way you were doing the right thing just that you did not create the sets correctly.
1. Create two value variables using transaction code GS11. For example: OR-AUFN and OR-AUF2 and give default value for both as zero. The table to use for both is KKBC and the field name as AUFNR
OR-AUFN - From Order
OR-AUF2 - To Order
2. Create a basic set. For example: OR-S-AUFNR in the basic set, under from value click on variable tab and enter the first variable (OR-AUFN) and then under to value, again click on variable and select the second variable (OR-AUF2) and save.
3. Now change the report in transaction code GR32. Click on General Data Selection and enter the set you've just created above. Make sure no other set for Order exists besides the new one and save your report.
Alternatively, you could also create two value variables for Order Item Number using table KKBC and field POSNR as follows:
7K-POS1 = Item from as description and give default value as 0.
7K-POS2 = Item To as description and give default value as 1000
Next, create a basic set and specify the above two variables. Change your report and include this set under General Data Selection. In this scenario, leave your original order set as well.
That should solve your problem. Refer back for any further clarification. By the way, everything I wrote here was tested fully and is working.

Then open your 2nd table. If you want to see both at the same time, right-click on the table editor tab and select 'New Editor Tab Group'

How to link Excel tabs so data shows up in one report

I have a huge excel file with 16 tabs (sheets) of data. Each tab has an excel speadsheet filled. I have the data in Crystal. Each tab shows up as a separate table. I've tried to link each in different ways but can only get one table to show up in the report. I want all the data in one report. If that's possible. It would be very large.

Yes I have the tables and can link them (have tried a couple of different ways) One has all the data fields linked between tables and the other way was to run them in series with just one field linked. Either way the Field Explorer on the right side of the screen shows each table and each table lists all the fields. But the problem is that the report only shows data from one table, not all the tables or all the data. The data that it shows is only from the table that I selected the fields from.

How to open multiple tabs in FF???

Hi all just wondering if it possible to highlight multiple links and then open them all in new tabs at the same time? For example if i have a page full of thumbnails which link to big pictures, can i highlight a bunch of the pictures then open them all in tabs or do i have to do it one at a time which can be a pain in the but? If this is not a feature i would like to suggest it.

How To Include Current Time and Date in Form

Does anyone know how I can include the time and date in the
body of a form mailer? Our system allows the receiver of each
submitted form to copy the body of the form entries and paste them
into either Excel or FileMaker for database building. They would
like to have the time and date also appear somewhere in the
submitted body so they will not have to do a seperate copy/paste of
the time and date seen in the header... I followed the javascript I
found in the Adobe website and included it within the form, but
when I ran a test nothing showed! Here is the form...

Can you not use when the email's timestamp?
Also, in z7's script, beware the common mistakes, if you try
to retype it - .getDate() gives the day of the month (1-31), but
.getDay() gets the day of the week (1-7). To make it more
confusing, .getMonth() gets the month (0-11), so you have to add
one to make it human-readable. The script posted is correct, but I
went round and round with my PC when I tried to do that the first
time!
