How to incluide a field in delta queue

Hello,
I had included a new field "Z" in datasource 0CRM_SRV_CONTRACT_H and I would like to include this field in the structure of delta queue.
Anybody Know, How can I include a new field "Z" in the delta queue?
Tks,
Cesar G. Batista

Hi,
I found the standard field but when this field was modify, this record don't go to the delta queue.
Someone know where I see the fields that are considered for the delta extraction of the extractor 0CRM_SRV_CONTRACT_H ?

  • How to make enhanced fields of data source delta enabled?

    Hi ,
I have a scenario, in which we are using the DS 0CUSTOMER_ATTR to load the master data. There are some fields added to this data source but this fields are not delta enabled. I have tested these fields from R/3 side using BDCP, CDPOS tables. All the fields are writing the changes correctly. But when extracting them using delta they are not capturing. If we load the full,it is capturing all the changes.
So running full load every week is taking more time.
Can any one suggest how to make this fileds delta enabled to capture the change in BW side as well to extract only changed records?
Any help will be greatly appriciated !
    Thanks & Regards,
    Vishnu

    HI,
It is not possible to load delta this data. Your datasource only detects changes in the customer table and when any customer has been modified the record is loaded to BW. In this moment the datasource fill the append extructure.
The problem is that if you modifies some record from the append extructure the datasources doesn't detects the changes. When you does a full load you are filling the append extructure for the entire records and it works.
If you want to catch this deltas you should make a delta datasource for CDPOS but depending on the number of records of the tables it won't be possible.
You could check if there is any event to detects the modification and create a delta queue datasource for the append extructure.
Then, you can mix both datasources in a DSO in BW.
You can look for a " how to create generic datasources which use delta queue"
    I hope it helps

  • How to load XML File to BW Delta Queue via Webpage

    Hello altogether,
I am trying to load an CSV file via Webpage (the Webpage have to change the csv file in a xml/soap file) into BW Delta Queue.
    Steps that I have made:
    - Create an InfoSource
    - Create an BW Data Source with Soap Connection
    - Create an initial Delta without Data Transfer
    - Create a Web Service with TC - SE37 - Utilities -> More Utilities -> Create Web Service
If I test the Web Service with TC - Soamanager (BW 7.0), the data entered here, are transferred to the BW Delta Queue.
If I test the function module ( TC - SE37), the data also transferred to the Delta Queue.
Now I think, that I have an error in the html file or the html file is not conform to the wsdl document?? Or should I have to create a virtual interface, but I don't find a possibility to creat it...???
    Can you please help me????
The coding of the WSDL Document and the Website is attached (I can also send you the coding and error message via mail, if you want). Sorry I don't know how to display here the coding. I try it with symbol "click to display the text code", but afterwards I get an error message from the website...   So let me please know your mail address and I send it via mail....
I hope, that somebody can help me!!!!!

    Hello,
I have done all the necessary config in BW. However, as I mentioned earlier, we are still not up with XI so I am trying to load XML to BW delta queue.  The question still remains, how do I make make the XML file (on my desktop say) point to the BW so the InfoPackage picks up and places in the delta queue?  Even if I had XI, there has to be a way whereby BW looks for the XML file.  That is what I want to know and stuck at.
Any detailed step by step help will be appreciated as always.
    Cheers

  • How to delete the data in update queue and delta queue for Queued delta?

    Dear BWers,

    Hi Raj,
I think you need some ground work for the LO extraction same as others here. Please read the 3 blogs expliciltly created for LIS by Robert Negro.

  • How to delete the delta queue in the ECC

    Hi everyone!
After I tryed to save a new Infopackage and I have the error :
(Deltas already loaded for request REQU_41Q82WJLR9AZCE9ZMKQLVG3RG init. selection; no 2. init
    Message no. RSM1071
    Diagnosis
Deltas have already been loaded for the init. selection of request REQU_41Q82WJLR9AZCE9ZMKQLVG3RG. A second initialization is therefore not possible with these selection conditions.
    Procedure
If you want to carry out a new initialization, you have to choose selections that do not overlap.
If you want to repeat the init. for the same selection, you have to delete the delta queue in the source system, and restart the delta process.
As the error says - Deltas have already been loaded for the init. selection.
Can you please give me some links/guids which describes how to  delete the delta queue in the source system, and restart the delta process.
    thank you, Ron

    Hi,
Assuming as you need to the reinit for same selections.
in such case you need to delete old init.
    how to delete init:
Go to your info pack screen, menu Scheduler--> initialization options for source system--> here you can see the existing init, select init(green) and delete it.
Later you can trigger your init info pack with selections.
    Thanks

  • How to use 2 date field as delta control in generic extractor.

    Hi colleagues:
I have developed a generic extractor to extract logistic data: Purchase Orders and Invoice. In order to do that, I have defined a view joining EKBE, EKKO, EKPO, EKET tables on R/3. By this approach, the delta mechanism is supposed to be controlled by the EKBE-BUDAT field and also by the EKPO-AEDAT field. Both fields are available on the view used to create the Datasource. However, the Datasource creation allows us to define just one field as delta control.
I have a few questions regarding to this scenario:
<b>1 - Is it possible to define 2 fields as delta control field on Generic Datasource?</b>
<b>2 - How about creating two similar Datasouces, one having AEDAT as delta control, the other having BUDAT as delta control, and then connect those Datasources to an unique Infosource on the bw side?</b>
    Best regards
    Waldemar

    hi,
1 - as far as I know it is not possible to define 2 fields
2 - this workaround is used often in cases like yours.
Just remember about order of extracting: first you extract new documents then changed

  • How to flush Delta queue for future SAP upgrades/support pack !

    Guys,
I'm making documentation regards to " How to flush Delta Queues" in case SAP wanted to upgrade the system or any support pack. Please anyone let me know the effective way to flush out the delta queue in step by step methods. I really appreciate your help.

    1.  Run V3 for associated application(s), this will load any potential delta data to the delta queues.
    2.  Run the delta load for each datasource twice.  The second load will clear the delta repeat data so that there should not be any more data in the delta queues defined with the format of the current datasources.
    Does this help?

  • How to deal with delta queue when importing Support Package/Kernel Patch

    Hi,
From my experience, when importing a Support Package for an installation, the system will issue an error message and get stuck if this Support Package is about to alter the structures used in delta loads.
But I would like to double with you if there is possible that the support packet which is going to alter structure, but no error message. If so, the delta data will be lost.
Do we need to clear down the delta queue every time we import support package?
Anyway, is there anyone have any suggestions or steps regarding this question?
    Many Thanks
    Jonathan

    Hi,
Delta queues during support package upgrade
Its always better to drain the delta queues before an upgrade.
As a standard practice we drain the delta queues by running the IP/ chain multiple times.
As a prerequiste we cancel/reschedule the V3 jobs to a future date during this activity.
The V3 extraction delta queues must be emptied prior to the upgrade to avoid any possible data loss.
V3 collector jobs should be suspended for the duration of the upgrade.
They can be rescheduled after re-activation of the source systems upon completion of the upgrade.
See SAP Notes 506694 and 658992 for more details.

The SAP BW Service SAPI, which is used for internal and ‘BW to BW’ data mart extraction, is

    Hi Rahul,
You can find the delta queue in RSA7.

  • How Delta Queue fetches data in source system.

    Hello Experts,
SMQ1 is physical storage of all transactions created in the source system. Delta Queue(RSA7) fetches data from SMQ1. In case of Queued and Unserilized V3 delta where LBWQ and SM13 come into picture. Can you please clarify my doubt.

  • How to recover when Delta Queues have been emptied by error ?

    Hi All,
Here is our problem : the ECC Delta Qs have been emptied by error some days ago, and for the moment we have frozen every BW updates from ECC, but the Delta Queues have been being filled in ECC since that.
We have so smart ideas so far...
    Thx 2 all in advance

    Hello ThoLei ,
In case your normal delta is running file in BW and the only thing you are concerned about is the data missed during the day when the queue got deleted, then yes you can go ahead with Repair Full option. If you refresh the missing data and no need to worry about delta.

  • Delta Queue in BI System

    Hello friends
I just wanted to know whether there is any delta queue maintained in the BI source system apart from the R/3 system?
If yes how does it function?
Secondly, what is the max no of char in the Key fields in DSO(BI 7.0) that we can have?
    regards
    Rohit

    hi rohit,
this is what i read in help check it out,
You can create a maximum of 16 key fields (if you have more key fields, you can combine fields using a routine for a key field (concatenate)).
    -         You can create a maximum of 749 fields
    -         You can use 1962 bytes (minus 44 bytes for the change log)
    -         You cannot include key figures as key fields
    if helpfull give me points

  • Question regarding fields triggering delta on ECC side

    Hi gurus
I wonder does any field change on ECC side triggers delta queue? If not how can I know what fields do trigger deltas?
For example I use FI_AR_4 extractor, one of the extraction structure fields comes from BSEG.SGTXT. It is long text field. Then it is being changed it doesn't impact any amounts or other key information. Will BSEG.SGTXT field change trigger the delta queue if any other field of the record wasn't changed?

But this timestamp field is posted then some fields have been changed, i guess...

  • DUMMY_BW (0FI_GL_04) delta queue not getting cleared

    Hi,
We're using minute based extraction approach for 0FI_GL_04 and thereby have two delta queues for the 0FI_GL_4 extractor in the SAP ERP ECC system: One for the ‘DUMMY_BW’ and the other for the 'real' BI system. The delta queue for DUMMY_BW is not getting cleared automatically in production system and it keeps on adding more records in the queue which is in turn consuming memory in ARFCSDATA. Any thoughts on this would be really helpful.
    Regards,
    Karthik

    Hi Gurus,
Please help me on how can I check that on what fields 0FI_GL_20 is pulling delta.
I tried to find the MSG Type to check in BD52 for relevant field list, in ROOSGEN table. the entry for MSG type is blank there.
Any help on this is appreciated.

  • ABR delta extractor and entries written to the delta queue

    Hello Everyone,
We have an ABR extractor and it's behaving like this:
For example fields: PM Order Number, Post Goods Issue Date, Start Date, Work Qty, Projected Qty
Create the PM order the entry is written perfect to the delta queue:
    10019987, blank, 04/29/2009, 100 PC, 90 PC
Now, if we perform a confirmation on the PM order we see the following:
    10019987, 04/29/2009, blank, 0 PC, 90 PC
Now if we change something on the PM order header we see the following:
    10019987, blank, blank, 100 PC, 0 PC
When this comes over to BW we don't get good results in our ODS.
Basically we don't get our Post Goods Issue date and Work Qty gets blanked out.  Basically, the last change to the order gets written to the ODS and isn't correct.
    Shouldn't it do the following:
    10019987, blank, 100 PC, 90 PC
    10019987, 04/29/2009, 100 PC, 90 PC
    10019987, 04/29/2009, 100 PC, 90 PC
10019987, 04/29/2009, 04/29/2009, 100 PC, 90 PC------this gets sent as last record with all fields updated.  We choose all these fields in the extract structure.
    Thanks

    Hello Martin,
Below is a snapshot of the delta queue (you can see the Cancel).  Question:  How do you control what record is updated and what others are not?  We thought the cancel won't update and the others will in order they were updated to the delta queue (and that appears how it's behaving):
Scenerio #1 (sorry, can't remember sequence of steps done in system, but thought I'd mention)
Cancel, Order Number, Release Date, Posting Date, Material, Plan Qty, Confirmed Qty
    blank, 10019987, 04/29/2009, blank,       , 4415, 100, 0
    blank, 10019987, 04/29/2009, 04/30/2009, 4415, 0,    100
    blank, 10019987, 04/29/2009, blank,         4415, 100, 100
    X,       10019987, 04/29/2009, blank,         4415, 100, 100
    Scenerio #2
cancel, order, release date, posting date, material, plan qty, confirm qty
    blank, 100019989, 04/29/2009, blank, 4415, 50, 0
then we perform a confirmation for 50 pieces and this is how the delta queue looks like
cancel, order, release date, posting date, material, plan qty, confirm qty
    blank, 100019989, 04/29/2009, blank, 4415, 50, 0
    blank, 100019989, 04/29/2009, 04/30/2009, 4415, 0, 50 <----
    second line
Notice the second line now has plan qty at 0 and confirm at 50.  Plan should always show 50 (or whatever the plan amount is.  Something doesn't seem correct here??
Now, if we change something on the order header, we get the correct plan qty of 50 (and confirmed still 50), but then the posting date is blank.  So when this comes over to BW we get correct plan and confirmed qty, but posting date is blank.  This really makes no sense because if you have confirmed qty populated with a quantity then you have a posting date.
    Thanks!
