How to increase Decimal Points for the BOM Component Quantity

Hi All,
While creating BOM:
Can anyone help me to know how i can increase the Decimal points for the BOM components quantity.
I can able to give only upto 3 decimal points, but the requirement is more than that.
I have increased the Decimal point value to 5 in transaction Code CUNI. but still it is allowing me to enter only upto three decimal places.

You would be better off changing the base quantity of the parent part. Instead of "1 EA parent contains .00003MG of component" you could say "100 EA parents contain .003MG of component".
Alternately, you could use different units of measure for your parent or component parts, which would be more suitable for the 3 place decimal limitation.
I agree with Anil in that if you elect to change the decimals from standard, you could end up with huge changes that will propagate through every module in the ERP. In my view, there is no need of this kind of headache.

what i done is i 1st cancel the confirmation. then go for read PP mater data. after that should i run the MRP for header material to create planned order for new BOM component?

Dear,
If you have execute any transaction like GI confirmation then read PP master data will not work.
Best way you can cancel the confirmation and reveres the good issue by 262 movement type. Then do TECO to the order all reservation get deleted.
Then update the BOM with new component and run MRP with planning mode-3 delete and recreated. It will create planned order then convert it to production and go ahead.

BOM changes inputting the BOM component -reg

Hi Friends,
we would like to know the BOM quantity changes happened for a particular BOm component .
Using CS80 we have to input BOM header to know BOm changes , but our requirement is for a BOM component what changes are made and when they are made .
Our BOM component say a paint part number is used in many BOM headers
it is not possible to see CS80 by inputting one by one BOm header and check whether the BOM component quantity changes are there .
instead we would like to input BOM component and know when and what changes are made to its quantity (menge) in what BOM header by which use

Dear Madhu Kiran,
This is possible only if you are using ECM - Engineering Change number and you can obtain the details
from the tables STAS,STKO,MAST &STPO.
Without ECM I dont think its traceable.
Check & revert back.

You may use the option
field(.0) for printing the quantity
field(.2) for printing the amount..

How to remove the decimal points at the end of the value????

we are using crystal reports 9.0. we have some reports which contains group by field. we have one field like address. if we select group by as address "The data is displayed grouped by the Address. But the address is shown in decimal points". for example if we have 55 as address field value, it shows 55.00.
the formula has written like as follows
if lowercase({?GroupBy}) = 'Address' then totext({rsp_GetDevMicro.Address})
now, i want to remove zeros which comes along with address field values.
can anyone help me in this?

Not sure about Crystal 9 but on 11 I would convert it to a number to remove the leading zeroes then back to text again which allows you to remove the decimal point and any thousand seperators, ie:
CStr(ToNumber(),0,"")

How to delete trailing zeros after the decimal point in the ALV sum

Hello Expert,
In my alv output, I need to sum up one column, but in the sum result, I don't want to display zeros after the decimal point.
for example,
If the sum is 134.00, I only want to display 134 on the alv.
Does any expert have idea about it?

SHIFT variable RIGHT/LEFT DELETING TRAILING '0'.
For more variations ,
just write SHIFT and press f4 , it will show you the information you need.

Do NOT display decimal points for 1 currency

Dear Friends,
i have a report which shows the revenue of all countries. we have a target currency (variable) in the report.if we give that target currency as EUR, it changes al currencies into EUR. similarly if we give USD, the report will change all currencies to USD with decimal points
But the requirement here is, for all other countries, the decimal points shud get displayed for the revenue, but only for Korea curreny (WON) the decimal points shud not be dispayed.
in the table TCURC, for Korea it is maintained as " whole numbers only ".
is there a way to achieve this??

in the report, i have 10 keyfigures. 4 are being picked up from the report and they have currency translation variable. The rest 6 are formulas. On these formulae, i restricted the decimal display to "nothing defined". it works fine for all the 6 formulae. for WON it does NOT show decimals and for the rest of the currencies, it shows decimals.
but how this can be achieved on the 4 direct keyfigures??

How to find workarea ID for the work area name.(Work area name CCIHT_WAH-WAID and I want to fetch characteristic data from table AUSP matching the OBJEK field,but I only have Work area name).Can anybody help me to find tables or relationship between Workarea ID and Workarea name for the same.I am using TCODE - CHIB02.Once I select a workarea and click on IHS Data button,I get data for that workarea.I need to find where this data comes from and How is this fetched.

U want to fetch the workarea description ?
we can fetch it from CCIHT_WALD table with the RECN value.
The informations are stored in AUSP table with the characterstic(ATINN) value.

A word of caution is in order regarding changing from facing to non-facing and back again. If you have overridden master page items, you'll get a second, non-overridden copy on all the even-number pages when that half of the master page is re-applied. I have PDF documents with Links which point to sections referenced (e.g. link of text "Section 2.2" points to the actual page number of "Section 2.2"), but as the links are created from cross-references during rendition from Word to PDF, there are cases that the destination page number and source page number of the links are the same (e.g. links of text "Section 2.2" on page 9 are created with the destination of page 9 which is the actual page number of "Section 2.2"), I want to remove all these links, but I don't know how to get the destination page, I check the API reference and find that "PDLinkAnnotGetAction" may work , but I don't know how to use it, could you check me codes below and advise ? Upto 4 decimal point for unit of measure

We have requirement to maintain upto 4 decimal point in PO and sales order quantity for unit of measure M3. Example PO quanity 0.3902 m3, sales order quantity 2.3212 m3, SAP allow upto 3 decimal point, how to handle this 4 decimal point for unit of measure and any impact to do so ?

To change decimal places of Materials follow this:
IMG - SAP NetWeaver - General Settings - Check Units of Measurement
select Units of Measurement & select required Unit of Measure & set decimal places.

OCM for Revesion level in the Material Master and for the BOM

I use My SAP 6.
I have implemented OCM. It's used for 2 things:
- The first is for revision level in the Material Master.
- the second is for the BOM.
Today, the customizing is good, it's work.
My need is to have the same change number for those 2 evolutions: for the material master evolution and for the BOM evolution.
It's possible, and how?

I do not think this is possible. Service level is usually used for safety stock planning.
