I want increasing the space in c1t0d0s0. when I installed Solaris 10 I do not looked attentively the size allocated
ThanksHi,
As I understand, you want to increase the size of the root partition (where you installed Solaris) which resides in c1t0d0s0. I think it can be done using Concatenations from Solaris Volume Manager (SVM).
I have tried it in non root partition like /export/home and it is very easy.
metainit -f d0 2 1 c1t0d0s7 1 c2t0d0s7 //this will create volume d0 as a concatenation
growfs -M /export/home /dev/md/rdsk/d0 //this will grow the /export/home partition

Increased file size results when migrating from RH6 to RH7
Hi experts,
Not sure where to post this message, so I appologize for
repeating myself. I am a Frame Expert, but a RoboHelp Novice. I
created a new help project in RH7, based on an old one in RH6. It
generated and now the R&D department is telling me that many
new files are created and the file size is 10MB larger. Can someone
tell me if all these files are necessary?
xxx.ali
xxx.BRS
xxx.cpd
xxx.glo
xxx.hhc
xxx.hhk
xxx.ign
xxx.ldb
xxx.phr
xxx.ppf
xxx.pss
xxx.stp
xxx.svn
xxx.xpj
Im sure that most of these file extensions were created in
the previous version and that the file name itself (which I didn't
list) is what is new, but before I tell this to the engineer I want
to be sure.
Size is an issue because this software is being deployed from
a flash card. the extra 10MB in space could be considered a blocker
and stop our development.
Any help is great!
LauraThose are files from the source. Your application only needs
the files in the ouput. By default, these will be in a subfolder
below !SSL!
Sometimes people ask if all the output files are required.
The stock answer is only if you want the help to work. :-)
Do note though, you only need to deliver whatever is in the
output you generate. -

How to increase page size for balance file upload in Workspace.
Hi All,
Please suggest how to increase page size for balance file upload in shared Workspace pages.
Thanks,A word of caution is in order regarding changing from facing to non-facing and back again. If you have overridden master page items, you'll get a second, non-overridden copy on all the even-number pages when that half of the master page is re-applied. This applies to master text frames which override automatically when text flows into them as well as to objects you manually override. I think you'll find this particular technique also only works for master text frames, whereas the Layout Adjustment should work in all situations where frames snap to guides.

How to increase the size of /opt solaris 10 x86
Solaris 10 X86, /opt runs out space, would anyone please tell me how to increase the size of /opt?
The Solaris is installed on the whole disk, and I believe there are still some free hard disk space available somewhere.
I need step by step guidance please.
thanks.Hi
Looks like you have installed your Solaris 10 on traditional UFS disk partitions and not using the ZFS whole disk. If so then you need to resize de underlying partition using the format command and then run the growfs to resize the /opt. -
How to increase image size by file size?A
I'm submitting photos to a stock site that requires a file size of 50 MB per image.
Is there a way to increase file size to match exactly 50 MB? What I've been doing is trying to guess the size of the image in pixels until it reaches 50 MB but that's not as intuitive.
Also, what's the best way to increase the image size without too much degradation?
Thanks! Thanks for the answer.. what's the best way to increase the file size while preserving image quality? Should I just do it in one go or increase it multiple times until I reach 50 MB?
I also noticed that although it said 50 MB in the image size window, once the file was saved and I looked up its info. it was slightly larger.. ? -

How to increase database size actually in my company use MSSQL
Hi Expert,

Data Files
No. of files-4
Total size(MB)-79,840
Alocated MB-79,825(99.98%)
Free MB-15(0.02%)
LOG
no of files-1
total size(MB)-2385
alocate MB-16
free-2342
recovery model-Full
Reuse wait resion-NOTHING
Now What i do give me suggessin
Thanks In AdvanceHi,
you don't have to stop your database to increase the file size - it's an online operation. If you are more familiar with SQL code here is what you have to do:
use <SID> /*Put your database name here, e.g. PRD*/
go
select file_id, name, physical_name, size
from sys.database_files
where type_desc = 'ROWS'
In the resultset you will find a column called 'name' - that are the logical file names that we need for the increase. If you have a standard installation the names should look like <SID>DATA{1-4}. Next step ist the actual increase of the files:
/*Replace <SID> with your DB name*/
alter database <SID> modify file(name='<SID>DATA1', size=25GB) /*25GB ist just an example*/
alter database <SID> modify file(name='<SID>DATA2', size=25GB)
alter database <SID> modify file(name='<SID>DATA2', size=25GB)
alter database <SID> modify file(name='<SID>DATA4', size=25GB)
Thats it. If you run the first statement again, you will see that the filesize has been increased. You can also check on filesystem level.

How to increase font size on Safari browser itself?
Hello All
I have been using my iMac for only a couple of weeks now, but during that time I have searched high and low for a setting to adjust the size of the font on the Safari browser - NOT the text on the web pages it displays (I figured that bit out!), the text on the actual browser frame itself e.g. the bookmark title, the titles displayed on the tabs etc
I also have not figured out how to increase the size of the text on the navigation bar at the top of my iMac where all of the available options for the program in use are displayed (file, edit, view and so forth)...
I am very pleased with the Mac overall, but the issue of these tiny weeny text sizes on the Mac navigation systems is a problem - anyone with real eyesight troubles would certainly be in a pickle!
Hopefully someone here will know what to do - I guess I just haven't found the secret yet!
Thanks!Greetings,
Sorry, but you can't change the size of the fonts or the menus in application windows. They aren't that small, so if you have trouble seeing them, you can use the Zoom feature of Universal Access to enlarge everything you move your mouse over. It's in System Preferences. -
How ro increase report size???
Hi,
I got an empty page in IE when I run my reports from our appls, the problem is the size of the report is small ( return less than one page data). Does anybody know how to increase the size to make it visable?
Thankshello,
you should see output regardless of the length of the report. however there are several known issues with IE :
-) if you are using PDF there might be a stalled acrobat running in the background.
-) IE tends to take "extensions" in the URL before using the mime-type to determine the content type of the document. so if your url ends with a string that "looks like" a file extension, IE might miss-interpret the filetype

After converting CR2 Raw files to Jpeg the size of the files is too small. How if possible Can one increase file size in Elements 9? Thanks
Why on earth do you want to have "larger" files?
JPG uses compression to reduce the size of the resulting files. If you're concerned about the picture quality because of JPG's lossy compression method, simply set the JPG "Quality" setting to its maximum.

How to increase the size of text boxes in FCPX without stretching the text inside?
How to increase the size of text boxes in FCPX without stretching the text inside?
There are two basic Title formats — I should say Layouts — available: Text (plain) and Paragraph. (The plain text version usually does not appear with the blue dot controls — those generally appear for the paragraph type control.)
If the Title is using a Paragraph layout, it's like having a mini version of Text Edit available inside FCPX. You can tell when you click on the text (when the title is selected) -- a rectangle will appear around the text like so:
double clicking on the text will give you the bounds controls which you can use to redefine the text area without distorting the text. Once selected, notice the button that appears in the top right corner of the canvas:
Pressing that will activate the ruler. You can right click on the ruler and add Tab Stops (left, right, center and decimal.)
So if the title uses paragraph formatting, you can create a very WYSIWYG type of display text (use the Text inspector to alter text selections within the paragraph bounds.) -
