If you want to change the size of the font of a TextEdit text document, you do it in the preferences. Alternatively, if you want control over the size of the fonts, make it a Rich Text document, and then you can change the font size. You can either use the Larger or Smaller options, or Show Fonts to choose a size. You can elect to have new documents be Rich Text in the preferences as well.

How to increase size of thumbnail in open dialog?

I saw this screenshot on a forum http://img2.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/aafe217759.jpg the thumbnail is HUGE! but on my computer, when i go into open, the thumbnail size is much smaller. http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/4644/picture2rt1.png can someone help me and let me know how to increase the size of the thumbnail?

I found out that this was done with the help of a wacom bamboo and a key on the pen. I am trying to find out if the pen button was mapped to a modifier key, but I am not getting a response. maybe someone else can get somewhere with this hint.

Small icons in menus-how to increase size

When I'm in Photoshop cs4 on my snow leopard, my icons are tiny when I'm in a menu. For instance, in my layers menu, the icons (like new layer, or trashcan) are about 1/8" tall. It makes it very difficult to accurately press on it. Does anyone know how to increase the size of these?

Why does everyone say change the monitor resolution? It's meant to work at it's native resolution. In my case a 27" Mac that what I purchased mine for, large screen great resolution and colour. Unfortunately this results in tiny tool bars. There a number of posts regarding small icons making it hard to see them. I suffer from eye strain after a short period due to the small icon size and yes I wear glasses and have my eyes tested regularly.
I have ready many well meaning replies from Adobe but no fixes to far. So much so that the new Mac sits mainly turned off and I resort to the old laptop instead.

In SO10 there is no option for changing font size. But here after going to change mode from menu using INSERT----->CHANGE STYLE we can change the style. Or goto SE71 select the particular window for changing font size, select character format and in bottom of the screen we can see option for font size. Change using this, save and activate and check it.

My question is How can I increase the size of the Order number field in 'Need online access to your existing account regisrtation' form?
In the B2B registration process of a user of an existing account.
When a user clicks on 'Need online access to your existing corporate account?'
The following form appears with 3 fields Account number, Order Number and Order Date along with username, password and email fields.
The order number field is only 10 characters. We need the ability to enter order number with 11-12 characters . Can you please describe the changes that need to happen?
Do we need to modify the ibeCRgdBusinessCreatePartial directly?
I have modified this jsp but I get a java.lang.numberformat exception whenver I try to input more than 10 characters.
I will be very grateful if you can help.

I'm testing the ASM in AIX. I created a Logical Volume with size is, e.g., 10G. Then I assign this LV with a Disk Group in ASM. Now I increase the size of the LV using AIX's smit, e.g., to 20G. How can I increase the size of my Disk Group in ASM?
I understand that Oracle recommend to assign a whole physical hard disk to a Disk Group in ASM.Thus, the resize command of ASM can only reduce the size of Disk Group, but cannot increase the size of it?
Any advice?

Disk Group is a logical term, phyical size of a diskgroup is determined by the disks belonging to a diskgroup. So you cannot increase a diskgroup, only the disks in it. You can resize a disk up to its physical limit (resize option of ALTER DISKGROUP statement).

I have a form say sk_form1.fmb and say a table called sk_tab1(col1 number, col2 varchar2(100)
In this scenario I got a requirement say, col2 size of sk_tab1 should be changed from 100 to 250.
I have done below

now I have opened form using formbuilder in unix
frmbld.sh sk_form1.fmb
now my doubt is how to know that what feild is my col2 in db and how to change that?

I have ran it in portal and want to put the filter on material.When the filter screen displayed , I selected the filter value on material and added it to selections. I am not able to see the full description of the material due to the width of the column is less which is hided to drag. We tried different options in WAD . still it is not working . once the filter screen displayed in your report result (Portal) ,it will show you two tabs screen , will select and transfer the selections from left had side to right hand side.iam able to drag the left tab but not the right one due to iam not able to see the full description of info object.By dragging we can increase the full screen size but not the individual tab size.

I have removed 18 GB from Logical Volume vol13 (#/dev/vg01/lvol13 /sapcd) in fstab. Now I want to allocate this space in /oracle/DEV/sapdata4.
How to add this free 18 GB in sapdata4 ? The Logical Volume which I have removed also resides in same logical volume vg01.

> lvextend -L yyyy /dev/vgxx/lvolxx (with yyyy = desired size)
-> extend file system to the desired size using fsadm; for example:
> fsadm -F vxfs -b xxxx /fsdir (with xxxx desired size in KB)

Is there a way to increase the default font size on the iPhone 4s?

I've had my iphone 4s for a few weeks now, graduating up from the Bberry world.
I've been searching the phone settings and the web for instructions on how to increase the default font.
This would be most helpful for us 50+ people who use reading glasses and have trouble seeing things these days in low light or when you can't expand the text like in an email or web page.
The affects the features like: Messaging, Notes, Reminders, Calendar, etc.....
Seems like this device should have this ability somewhere.
Even my lo tech Bberry had this option.....don't make me go back....
