How to increase the length limit of the text area ...

It's 2011 and I wanna send email through my phone. Hope that Nokia wake up and catch up with the present time. Looks like this phone hopes me to be content with 552 or so characters at a time. The characters just don't get entered after that limit. Is there a way to construct a longer message? Thanks in advance.

You state it's 2011 and they should catch up yet you buy a phone that was released in 2008?
Are you using the latest version of the nokia email software? Is your firmware up to date?
Perhaps you should rephrase your posts on this forum if you want anybody to put any serious effort into helping you. Edit - Looks like a moderator has rephrased it for you!

PLEASE add this feature. as far as I can tell there are no option out there that serve this need. FormAssembly, EmailMeForm, or FormsCentral. Think of how many customers would use this. Imagine a t-shirt company that pre-prints inventory, wouldn't they want to limit how many forms could be submitted that want a size L shirt? My business is participant based, like the evnt question above we need to limit the number of participants. Of course I could program my own solution, but then I would miss out on all the other cool FormsCentral features. Any chance this could be added right away if I sponsored it as a custom development?

I understood. Emphasizing that this is still a guess, when you touch the screen it compares your fingerprint at that time to the one you originally recorded. The fact that the finger is warmer may have a small effect on the fingerprint making it appear different than the original colder one. Temperature differences cause things to expand and contract and that may be having an effect on the comparison. You could try recording a fingerprint after doing what you are doing and then see if it will be recognized when you do the same thing to log into the phone. I know that prior to iOS 7.1 for a few minutes after I would wash my hands the phone had difficulty recognizing the fingerprint. Don't know if it was temperature or moisture that caused the temporary change induced by the hand washing. That improved with version 7.1 I think.

If you still need more ask your abaper to check table ISCJ_E_POSTINGS with field text100 and text30

As long as iMessage is enabled and the old phone is connected to a WiFi access point, it will continue to receive iMessage texts. It won't receive non-iMessage texts nor will it receive any calls.

My process gives an error of segmentation fault (SIGSEGV) that is caused because the stack limit is reached. I have a doubt about how to increase the stack size. I have tried change it with "ulimit - hard" but this size is 65532kb, and is very low for my process. How can I increase the hard limit?

When last I checked, the kernel had a fixed stack size limit.
Do you have the source code to this application? If so, [see this Tiger stack size article|http://homepage.mac.com/eric.c/hpc/contents/documentation/How%20to%20in crease%20the%20stack%20size%20on%20Mac%20OS%20X.pdf], and specifically have a look at the +ld -stack_size+ mechanism; rebuild the code with a bigger limit.
Entirely FWIW, this question would be more typical over in the developer forums or maybe in the Unix forum if you don't have Apple developer access. Better audience for application development and for software-related questions over there.

I have a requirement wherein i need to make a selection screen with radiobuttons. The text that i need to put with radiobuttons as label is about 120 chars. But it is giving me an error that the text could not be more than 79 chars.
Is there any way i can increase this length, so that i can write a text (as radiobutton label) of about 120 chars in a single line?

Cable length limit on the so-called "Internet" port?

Is there a limit on the cable-length when connecting an Ethernet cable to the so-called "Internet" port on a WRT54G router?
I assume this is a standard 10/100 Ethernet port, since I am connecting this to the Ethernet port of my DSL modem. Since the Ethernet standard defines a maximum cable-length of 100 meters when connecting any 2 Ethernet devices, I should be able to use a cable up to this length when connecting 2 Linksys routers together.
Here is what I want to do:
DSL Modem-->Linksys Router-->Linksys Router
My first Linksys WRT54G router is connected to a DSL modem. I want to put a second WRT54G Linksys router in a different building, and connect them with a 100 meter Ethernet cable, connecting the remote end to the second router´s "Internet" port, and the other end into one of the first router´s available 10/100 ports. This will allow me to create 2 wireless signals, with 2 different DHCP scopes and 2 different SSID´s, basically allowing me to extend the range, with the 2 routers connected with a physical wire.
This works when connecting them with a short, 2 meter cable. Using a short cable I am able to associate with the second router´s SSID, get a DHCP address from that router, and then turn on RIP on both routers and have traffic route from the second router to the first one and out to the Internet successfully.
However, when I replace the short cable with a longer one, either 80 meters or 100 meters, I don´t get a link light between the routers. I do get a link light if I connect to a 10/100 port on both routers, but RIP doesn´t seem to want to exchange routes on the second router out anything other than the "Internet" port. Moving the cable back to the "Internet" port fails to produce a link light (unless I use a really short cable, which does produce a link light).
So my question is this: from a Layer-1 perspective, is the "Internet" port an Ethernet port that enforces a cable-length limit that doesn`t follow the standard 100 meter rule?

well..the internet port is definitely an ethernet port...however, it is not supposed to limit the cable length .. try a 50 m cable and check whether it works...because my friend had a similar kind of an issue and it worked fine with a 50 m ethernet cable ..
