How to increase the number of rows to be displayed in BEx Web Analyzer

hi,
I am viewing reports using BEx Web analyzer option. It is displaying only 24 rows  of data at a time. How to increase the number of rows? do i need to any kind of settings?
pls reply.

Hi,
I think the standard template in 2004s is named 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN. You can find it in Web Application Designer, open, and search for the technical name. If you want to change the number of rows or columns, you can find this setting near the bottom of the XHTML view of the template:
<bi:BLOCK_COLUMNS_SIZE value="4" />
<bi:BLOCK_ROWS_SIZE value="17" />
Then just save, and ignore the error messages.

  • How to increase the number of rows in Status Oveview iView in MSS?

    Hi
We have implemented MSS and have a question regarding Status overview iview.
The standard status overview iview of the team workset has 5 rows and we have to scroll using the arrow buttons to select/view a request.
Now can anyone explain me how to increase the number of rows in this iview? Is this somthing that has to be accoplished through web dynpro customization?
I checked the options in iView property and do not see any option to increase the number of rows.
    please help
    Thanks

    Hi Micheal,
Well, I am not really sure, if you could accomplish this using customizing, but I am sure that you can accomplish this using the JDI. Well, you can extract the application's source code using JDI and then change the required display rows property and republish it.
Am not really sure if this is suggestable method for this requirement, but it can be achieved using this JDI stuff.

  • How to increase the number of rows in a jTable dynamically?

Can anyone help me in increasing the number of rows in a jTable dynamically without using DefaultTableModel?
I don't want to use DefaultTableModel because my program is about to finish except this problem.
    Thanks in advance.

Presumably you're using your own custom table model class. Modify that so that it returns the number of rows you want. Though presumably it would do this anyway so I've no idea what the problem is.
Do you mean you've added rows to the table model but they're not being reflected in the table itself? You need to fire events - AbstractTableModel provides simple methods to fire them, but if you're not using that then you'll have to fire them manually.

  • How to determine the number of rows to be displayed in a report

    hello experts,
Has anyone ever come across this requirement before? Before a report finishes being executed and before it displays the results, is there a way to determine the number of rows to be displayed as the result?
    Many thanks in advance.

    Hello Arun,
Thanks for your reply but do you know which method I should use for this purpose if I use the table interface?
    Thanks,

  • How to increase the number of rows for Entry via Excel in SSM ?

    hello
we are facing a scenario where we need to enter the target data for more than 14000 fields. So when we open the excel ad in and trying to upload, it is accepting data for only 500 fields and the rest are not getting displayed.
The condition is that we have to enter data via Entry and Approval and not using a procedure and multiple metric sets is not a feasible option since the number of records is large. How can the number of rows in excel be increased ?
    Vijay

    Hi Bob
    I am facing another problem....
we have designed our model in such a way that we built it using normal procedures but the target values have to be entered using entry and Approval via Excel ad-in..
the problem we are facing is that if we select both the actual and the target measures to load the data via Excel login then the column TARGET is getting greyed out. When we build the same model using cube builder , the column TARGET is not getting greyed out and we are able to enter data there.
Is there any setting changes we need to make inorder to make the Entry and Approval process via Excel behave the same way when the model is built using the Cube builder ? Are there any new notes or a newer version of Excel ad in to resolve this ?

  • How to Increase the Number of Rows/Lines in a document

    Dear Experts,
I have pre printed stationary that prints only 5 rows before moving to the next page. How can I increase this to 10 lines or more ?
    Regards

    Hi Martin,
Which layout is this?  Is it the Cheque For Payment?  If it is, there is a setting to determine the max lines per page and even if you change the repetitive area setting it will still only print 5 lines.
    The setting is in:
Administration / System Initialisation / Print Preferences.
On the Per Document tab, select Cheque For Payment.  Change the Maximum Lines field.
If it is not Cheque For Payment, try Jimmys solution.  The amount of rows though, is also dependant upon things such as the size of your page headers and footers and how much space is left after they have printed, so if you still can't get more lines per page, make those smaller.

    Adrian

  • How to increase the number of row displayed in the result set.

    Hi All,
I have a seeded oracle page OA.jsp?page=/oracle/apps/pa/structure/webui/FPStructVersionPG from projects module.
On the above page, when we click on the financial tab to see the tasks, it shows only 180 tasks out of 298. I dont find any link on the page which would give me the rest of the tasks, overall it shows only 180 tasks.
I checked the VO query it picks up all the 298 records.

    1. To the sine signal of 100 data (100 sampling) to sort 250 rows in the array. It changes the sine signal in the plane that time.
    2. To set up a new row by external trigger signal.

Your question makes little to no sense. Could you explain further, perhaps send some example code of what you have done so far?

  • Smartforms table: how to fix the number of rows to be display in the table.

    Hello.
I´m having problems with a smartform. I have defined a window with 7 cm high. Then I have define a table to print the content of a table.
I'm using the header, the main area, and the footer. It seems to be ok. But the main area is sizeble. I mean, that if in the table has 2 records, it dispaly the 2 records and inmediatly display the footer. It probably use only 3 cm of the 7 cm defined for the high of the window.
And I want that the footer of the table would be display at the end of the 7 cm of the window. Is that posible ?
Please, tomorrow we will have our kick off the module and this is the last issue we have.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Better idea wud be to create a WINDOW, just Below you Main window (After table) ..
In Form Layout (Form Painter) you can fix this Window on any place , Pass the FOOTER text node over there  .. So you will get a Static FOOTER diplay ..
That what you need ?? Let me know

  • How to increase the number of characters in Text Edit??

    Hi,
How to increase the number of characters we enter in the Text Edit, for example i can't enter not more than 255 characters. If to enter upto 500 char, what to do.
    Thanks and regards,
    Karthik

We can't restrict the number of characters a UI element can take. Rows and columns properties are to specify the visible no of rows and columns.
If u want a restriction in the number of characters you have to create a simple type and set it to a context attribute and then map it to the text view.

  • Increase the number of rows in MDXTEST

    Dear colleagues,
I use the SAP transaction MDXTEST to test MDX queries generated by WebI reports. The expected result set is significantly larger then 500 rows which causes the following error in MDXTEST:
"There are more than 500 possible inputs
    Message no. DH803"
    The help message also says:
"With the function 'Restrict values' you can define selection conditions that reduce the number of valid values.
Use the same function to change the maximum number of rows to be displayed."
Can you explain what that means - how can I increase the number of rows retrieved?
Do I have to modify the MDX statement and if so, how?
Is there a menu option or customizing setting for this purpose?
    Any help is appreciated.
    Regards
    Johannes

Official reply from SAP Support: Please be aware that MDXTEST is only a test transaction. Therefore, the display of data has been restricted and you cannot change this.

  • How to limit the number of rows in a smart form , sap script.

Can anyone tell me how to limit the number of rows in the output of a sap script/smart form. I have tried "protect/endprotect" in sap script but have no idea of how to do in smart form. In sap script the only way it has happened is by reducing the size of the main window.

    Hi,
In Smartform also, why dont you try reducing the size of the window if you want to limit the rows in it. Also if you are printing Line Items in a LOOP, you can write
LOOP AT T_ITAB FROM 1 TO N in the LOOP Node if you know how many records exactly you want to display in 1 Page processing.

  • How to count the number of rows in a resultser object?

    hi there
how to count the number of rows in a resultser object which may contains millions of rows? besides using a while loop? thanks

You don't, you execute a query whose result is the record count of those records that match the search and then you execute the actual query to create your record set. Typically you do
select count(id) from YourTable where [filter]
    from the resulting ResultSet do
    int res.getInt(1);
which gives you the count and then
select id from YourTable where [filter]
to produce the actual result set.
in the second query the id part can be substituted with the actual fields you want.
