How to increase the width & heigt of page in smart forms...

Dear abaper,
In smartform i have one problem,
the default page size is 20 cm ht & 20 cm width,. but i want to create 4 windows havehing
leng & width of (total 4 windows) more the 20*20cm .so an error message is displaying ''window dose not fit on page 1''.
can any one sugesst how to increase the page size (weather it is possible or not) .what is the soulution for this.

Hi,
Open the Smartform and click on FORM PAINTER.
A graphical window will appear displaying all the windows you have created.
These windows are going beyond the paper size. Resize them so that they would fit in the page. You can also extend the page by simply clicking & dragging the edge of the window.

How to increase the width of the Crystal report template in the CR designer in .NET 2005 editor ?
I need to design a report which has to accomodate more number of columns.So achieve that i need to redesign the report having more width.

HI Srivatsa,
You can make a wider report by creating virtual pages. Virtual pages are the extra pages to the right of the main page that get created to accommodate cross-tabs that are wider than a single page. By inserting a cross-tab in a report then suppressing it, you can create a report that is multiple pages wide.
Insert and Suppress a Cross-Tab
1. On the 'Insert' menu, click 'Cross-Tab'.
2. In the Cross-Tab Expert, click any field and move it into the 'Columns' box, and click any field and move it into the 'Summarized Fields' box. Do not move any fields into the 'Rows' box.
3. Click the 'Customize Style' tab and select the following check boxes:
" Suppress Empty Rows
" Suppress Empty Columns
" Suppress Row Grand Totals
" Suppress Column Grand Totals
4. Click the 'OK' button and then insert the cross-tab into the Report Header section.
5. On the 'Report' menu, click 'Format Sections'. Click 'Report Header' and select the 'Underlay Following Sections' check box.
When you run the report you will not see the cross-tab, but you will be able to scroll to the right and see multiple virtual pages.

" As there are no rows to the Cross-Tab, it does not carry on to Page 2 and the virtual pages do not appear past the first page.
" To increase or decrease the number of virtual pages do one of the following:
- Limit the number of records for the field in the 'Column' box of the 'Cross-Tab Expert' using the 'Select Expert'.
- Change the width of the 'Column' field in the Cross-Tab by moving the edges of the field.

How to Insert Fields on Virtual Pages
You cannot drag-and-drop a field onto a virtual page, you can only do so on the main page. To get a field to appear on a virtual page:
1. Insert the field on the main page.
2. Click the 'Preview' tab.
3. Drag the right edge of the field to the right, onto the virtual page.
4. Drag the left edge of the field to the right, onto the virtual page.

Create a table layout region and under that use 'messageStyledText' for displaying the prompt and use 'messageTextInput' for text field without giving any prompt to that.

How to increase the width of detailed items of a Tabbed Panel ? I have many columns inside a detailed item of tabbed panel i can see only 3 colums ,to see the rest of the column i need to scroll. I tried to set the width but doesnt seems to be working

How to increase the space of a page in Application Designer ?

Hello. I am developing a page in Application Designer.
I need to place multiple records with many fields in the page. But the entire space of the page is not enough to place the fields. We need to use a vertical scroll to increase the space of the page to hold all of the fields. But I don't understand how to do this feature.

I am using SSRS 2012. I have a parameter, which accepts multi value.
The width of the drop down list box is very small, and the user need to scroll to the right to view the complete view of the content in the list box. But, if I don't use multi value then the length is good. Kindly suggest how to I increase the width

After testing the issue in my local environment, I can reproduce it. When the values for a single parameter are too long, the drop-down list of the parameter will automatically enlarge to an appropriate size. While the values for a multiple parameter are
too long, we need to scroll to the right to view the complete view of the content in the list box in SSRS 2008. But in SSRS 2008R2 and SSRS 2012, we can directly drag the black control at the bottom of the list box to control the size.

Thanks for your reply. I understood we need to drag the list box to a maximum size to view the contents.
But, this seems an additional task, i know this is a limitation in the current version of SSRS and hope it will be resolved in the next versions.

How to increase the width of the Fluid Grid Layout from 1008px to 1080px?

Good day all, I'm experiencing a slight problem with Fluid Grid Layout in Dreamweaver CS6. I want to increase it's width so that it could be one with my Photoshop CS6 design (which is 1080px), the problem is that I can't as I am limited to 1008px. How do I increase the width? I ultimately am re-coding my design as my client demanded a responsive design but I'm clueless in that avenue which is why I resorted to re-doing everything under the set & safe default (Fluid Grid Layout) that doesn't require me to udnderstand media queries at an expert level.

Can anyone tell me how to limit the number of rows in the output of a sap script/smart form. I have tried "protect/endprotect" in sap script but have no idea of how to do in smart form. In sap script the only way it has happened is by reducing the size of the main window.

In Smartform also, why dont you try reducing the size of the window if you want to limit the rows in it. Also if you are printing Line Items in a LOOP, you can write
LOOP AT T_ITAB FROM 1 TO N in the LOOP Node if you know how many records exactly you want to display in 1 Page processing.

I was configuring WHT formulae for TDS setcion code 195 with Time dependant formulae
My requirement is If the base amount is 100000 the TDS will be as under:-
TDS @ 10% = Rs10000/-
Surcharge @2.5% = Rs.250/- (2.5% on Rs.10000) as such in the formulae I have put 0.25
E Cess @ 3% on (102.5) = Rs308/- ( 2.5% on Rs10000250) for this I need to put formulae 0.3075
But the field is not accepting 0.3075 , It is only accepting upto 2 decimal places
Please advise how to increase it.

In time independet tax code there is a provision to put 6 character but in time dependant max 5 character.

In each version you have too few space for Enter-Query... You have to live with that problem
