How to increase vram in macbook pro 13 early 2011
I recently bought Macbook Pro core i5, 13in early 2011.
Is there any way to increase VRAM in my macbook pro. I want to work for Graphics specially in After effects and Adobe Photoshop. But when I started photoshop I saw an error that I have only 384MB of vRAM I can't work on such low vRAM... I am feeling I lost my money because of no available enough ram

If all you did to install an application was drag it to the Applications folder, it will be completely uninstalled by dragging it to the Trash and emptying the Trash. How many other files that you've trashed and emptied can you still find on your computer?

For a while I struggled to charge my Macbook Pro, so I decided to buy a new charger. It worked fine for a couple weeks but now it has started to do the same thing. I have to spend like maybe 3-4 min wiggling the charger until it finally starts, and then I have to keep it perfectly still for it to charge. Recently my macbook stopped charging completely. The magsafe port looks very burned (its kind of black). Also the area around the magsafe port is always HOT, even before the charging issues. How can fix this issue? How much RAM can my Macbook Pro (early 2011) actually hold?
I currently only have 2x2 RAM in my Mac, but I've been reading I can put up to 16GB... Is this true?
I want to upgrade to 16, but I'm unsure if my system will actually accept it or not, which is why I'm here...
I've been reading on Apples site that it can only hold 2x4, and on other sites it can hold up to 2x8, which one is correct...?

You have to boot the system from the original Snow Leopard DVD. With the DVD inserted in the drive restart the system and nhold down either the Option key, and then select the SNow Leopard DVD from the boot selection screen that comes up, or the C key to boot directly from the DVD drive.
Once the computer starts from the SL DVD Click the Utilities menu item and select Disk Utility. Once that starts select the top most entry in the keft side, the drive name and size, then the partition tab. Select one partition from the Partition Layout area drop down, Middle area, give it the name Macintosdh HD and format Mac extended (Journaled) and then click the Apply button.
Once all that is done exit DU and continue with the install. -
When i try to install windows 8 with bootcamp on my Macbook pro (early 2011) it says it only supports windows 7, how can i fix this?
if your computer does not support the operating system you wish to install in bootcamp then you have to use a virtual machine like virtual box to install the operating system you wish to install

j.Quicktime comes pre-installed on all Macs. Quicktime 10 should be on your Dock and the original application inside your Application folder. Quicktime 7 is inside your Utility folder. VLC is the application that you need to download.

I'm having this problem from day one and spoke to AppleCare couple of times, but unable to resolve! Boot from your original OS X Installer Disc One that came with your computer. After the chime press and hold down the "D" key until the diagnostic screen appears. Run the extended tests for a minimum of two or three hours. If any error messages appear note them down as you will need to report them to the service tech when you take the computer in for repair.

I need your expert advice to proceed. I bought apple TV and it works fine with my iPad and iPhones also fine with itune of my Mac Book Pro BUT I am not seeing setting which says "Airplay Mirroring" in system preference -> Display at all.

You should be using the developers installer/unistaller to remove Log Me In from OS X.
Somehow it's in OS X, I don't know, but it's there and you need to remove it. I'm not dealing with Windows, just OS X.
Talk to Log Me In people and find out what is installed where so you can do a manual deletion out of OS X.
If that doesn't work, you have to reboot holding the Shift key down manually search for any Log Me In or Himachi files on your computer, in your System/Library/Extensions folder too, use the free Easy Find.

Macbook pro early 2011 freezes, slow, weird fan noise + trackpad jumping around
Hi guys, see the Etrecheck report below. My 13' Macbook pro (early 2011) has been very slow for the last few months, the fan makes a weird blowing noise (several fellow students have looked around what the **** that noise was when it started doing it), and recently started freezing when opening iTunes, OpenOffice and even Firefox.
OH AND my trackpad has jumping around without me even touching it.
What do you guys think? What's the problem, what can I do? IF I take it in how much do you think it might cost?

One thing to keep in mind is that while you'll be amazed at the increase in performance an SSD can deliver over a HD, the two storage mediums work differently, and one of the OS features SSD's benefit from is TRIM. While you've probably seen a lot of discussion and disagreement about that on these forums, this article about the Samsung 840 EVO SSD also goes into how SSD performance changes over time for a variety of SSD's. The narrative is interesting but the graphs are an eye-opener, showing how relatively successful Garbage Collection alone vs GC + TRIM are in recovering full performance. That's the good news.
The bad news is that while activating TRIM is simple, activating it with Yosemite installed has a real down-side. So if you haven't upgraded to Yosemite yet, you might keep that in mind.
