How to increase work space area in report? Lanscape mode?

I see...some of report got wider area....it creates report printable in landscape mode..
how can i increase workspace?...i want wider workspace...i don't know, how to do that.

To change the page to a larger size in CR, change the printer setup of the report file by selecting a different paper size. (Click File > Printer Setup)
For example, you can change the paper size from 'letter' to 'legal' to increase the paper height from 11 inches to 14 inches.
The options available in the Print Setup dialog box are dependent on the paper sizes that your printer driver supports. Different printers have varying page size options.

Hello. I am developing a page in Application Designer.
I need to place multiple records with many fields in the page. But the entire space of the page is not enough to place the fields. We need to use a vertical scroll to increase the space of the page to hold all of the fields. But I don't understand how to do this feature.
Can any folks tell me how to increase the space of a page in Application Designer in order to hold many fields ?

is it possible to increase work process time to specifi report, becasue i am getting below error while running the report
The program "SAPLKARS" has exceeded the maximum permitted runtime without
interruption and has therefore been terminated.
After a specific time, the program is terminated to make the work area
available to other users who may be waiting.
This is to prevent a work area being blocked unnecessarily long by, for
example:
- Endless loops (DO, WHILE, ...),
- Database accesses with a large result set
- Database accesses without a suitable index (full table scan)
The maximum runtime of a program is limited by the system profile
parameter "rdisp/max_wprun_time". The current setting is 600 seconds. If this
time limit is
exceeded, the system attempts to cancel any running SQL statement or
signals the ABAP processor to stop the running program. Then the system
waits another 60 seconds maximum. If the program is then still active,
the work process is restarted.

You can set rdisp/max_wprun_time this value dynamically and chage it back to original value after your report is finished.
before you start your reoprt or program do this,
T-CODE --> RZ11 --> rdisp/max_wprun_time --> change value --> new value --> hit OK.
After your report is finished you can switch back to old value.

How to increase "available space"

Hello. I'm on my first Mac and have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and want to upgrade to Mtn. Lion. It says that it requires 2GB of memory, which I have, and 8GB of "available space." I have 6GB. Does Apple have a snappy way to increase "available space" that does not require opening the computer up? Thank you.

How to create work space in the share point work space ?

I have office 2010 with Share point work space.
I have lot of files in the remote drives ( //sever1 ..etc ) and it is hard to find the files and modify them every time.
So I have created groove work space and added one of the file from remote driver
and then I have modified the file in the groove and it should be modified in the remote driver also, But it is not modifying.
Please let me know any other ways to do this.
I would like to reference the file in the share point work space tool. It should be modify in the remove driver once it is saved from space and vice versa.

Didn't know Workspace can sync folders, I only use it to sync offline folders and SharePoint. As an alternative, you can use SyncToy (
http://sharepointdragons.com/2012/04/10/synctoy/ ) which for sure is able to sync multiple file locations (btw, it uses the Sync framework, the same that's being used by Workspace)

How to increase footnote space?

Hi!
I am working on a piece of text in Indesign CS6. The text contains the work at the top and a commentary to the work in the footnote area. The commentary is quite lengthy, thus there are many footnotes for just one paragraph. The opening paragraph to the work has approx. 12 footnotes on its own.
Unfortunately, Indesign has made half of the work that was originally on the page go onto the next page as there are too many footnotes at the bottom. This has left a whole load of space, and I have noticed this on all pages. That Indesign automatically shifts text onto the next page when a certain amount of the footnotes are inserted. Does anyone know how I can get rid of this limitation and put in unlimited amounts of footnotes on every page of the document? Increase the amount of space for footnotes?

The short answers is you can't increase ID's space for footnotes. Unlike certain word-processors, InDesign will begin a footnote only on the page where the note's reference falls in the main text. Thus if you have 3 footnotes in one line, for example, there's a good chance ID will push that line to the next page and leave a gap on the preceding page.
If your commentary is very lengthy then ID's footnotes simply may not work well: you may need to put the commentary in a separate story running through a separate set of frames on each page -- a task all too familiar to PageMaker veterans. Once you get going the work isn't as tedious as you might think, plus you get more flexibility: with a page big enough for two columns, you can put notes in the outer column, and encroach on the bottom of the main-text column as necessary.

How to increase font size in the report when emailed as PDF

How do I increase the font size of the report when I distribute the report as PDF to the users. I tried using different paper sizes in the LayOut tab in Broad Caster and Orientations. When I open the PDF from the mail I see the report shrinked and not readable, but when I magnify the report the numbers are visible with no loss in quality. I cannot give the users to print a shrinked PDF file. I would like to see a visiable font and print the same size what I see.

The size of the font is increased by selecting a bigger page size while emailing. This will automatically increase the size of the page.

How 2 increase line size of classical report displayed thru modular prog

I have displayed a classical report through a modular program using LEAVE TO LIST-PROCESSING AND RETURN TO SCREEN 130.
But now i want to increase the line-size of my classical report as only half of the report is getting displayed.
I tried the following thing:-
SY-LINSZ = 125.
perform f_report_pass.
*Print repost showing records which were not saved
perform f_report_fail.
LEAVE TO LIST-PROCESSING AND RETURN TO SCREEN 130.
but that did not work.
Please help me increase the line size.

Suspiciously we've had no broadband since Saturday and BT have been upgrading in the area. I think they've messed something up at the exchange. The DSL light on the modem is off. We can can still make phone calls. We have an engineers appointment booked, but that's going to involve me losing a day's wages, which I won't get back off BT if it turns out to be their fault. I don't want an engineers visit, I just want them to go back to the cabinet and do it properly. Can anyone offer an opinion as to whether I should just wait a few days and see if they correct the problem themselves?

A friend was in the same situation and he did make a complaint for compensation, as bt reunded it as a gesture of goodwill.
