How to - Indesign index - 3 different ways?

Any insight on how to tackle building an index for a 96-page document in InDesign? I have tried to read various posts on this, but I'm still in the dark.

My file is not set up as a "book", it's just a 96-facing pages document
I need to build 3 indexes in the document, so readers can search by "Index by Title", "Index by Location", "Index by Author"
Is there step by step instructions anywhere on how to approach this - I'm very confused at this point and sit here with a blank index in my document. I don't even know how I should approach the layout of it yet, OR if I'm supposed to build a file in excel and then import the info?
Blank slate at this point ~ can anyone help?

You may have missed this note in the InDesignSecrets information:
"Another method is to use prefixes in your index entries. For example, put an ! (exclamation point) at the beginning of all your “author” index entries. Then, when you generate the index, those will all be gathered together in one group. You can then remove the special character at the beginning of each paragraph easily with Find/Change."
It's terse, but the idea is that you add a special character to each index entry - say an ! for author, a ~ for subject, etc. Just as all entries that begin with "a" or "b" etc. are gathered together under the initial letter in the generated index, so, too, the "!" and "~" entries are gathered under these symbols. When the document is finalized and the final index is generated, you can remove the special characters with Find/Change.
When you get the hang of creating index entries (by viewing a tutorial and doing some experiments, as Jongware suggests) this will make more sense.
And what the heck is a grep - I don't know anything about codes..?
GREP is a smarter kind of Find. You shouldn't need it for this task.
Anywho, and was hoping someone could give me a play-by-play on how to tackle this index.
Any further insgiht would be very much appreciated.

It is true what P. Forstmann said. However if you don't want to give the second user the ANY priviledge, then you can do a little workaround. Create a small procedure in Schema A that does the rebuild (maybe dynamically). Then grant execute rights on the procedure to Schema B.

XmlDataProvider .... is gone completely in my Xaml file. Why? How many different ways to deal with xml data source through WPF

I followed a procedure described in a book.
1. insert "Inventory.xml" file to a project "WpfXmlDataBinding" .
2. add the XML data source through the data panel of "blend for 2013", named it "InventoryXmlDataStore" and store it in the current document.
3. dragged and droppped the nodes from the Data panel onto the artboard.
Then I checked my Xaml file against the one provided by the book

It's quite common for smart developers to think they're not as good as they are.
I coach a fair bit and it's a surprisingly common feeling.
And to repeat.
Never use anything ends .. provider. They're for trivial demo apps. Transform xml into objects and use them. Write it back as xml. Preferably, use a database.

How to compare index names and columns from different user?

I am using below query to compare two indexes from 2 different users but even though index name and columns are same... result shows me they are different.. what I am doing wrong? Thanks

So index_owner is 'USER1' in one case, and 'USER2' in the other; right?
A string that starts with 'USER1' will be distinct from a string that starts with 'USER2', no matter what the rest of the string contains. Maybe you don't want to compare the owners, or maybe you meant to use some other column (such as table_name) instead of index_owner).

If not, post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE, CREATE INDEX and CONNECT statements), and also post the results you want from that data.
Explain, using specific examples, how you get those results from that data.
Always say which version of Oracle you're using (e.g., 11.2.0.2.0).

myFrame f = new myFrame();"f" contains the reference to your Frame and can be used as you need. If you need another Frame:
myFrame f2 = new myFrame();"f2" now contains reference to a totally separate Frame.

I have read about may different ways to export from iMovie to QuickTime, but it seems that my movie is always a huge file for about 3 mins of video. I was wondering how people have a larger than normal movie screen that loads very quickly.

If we observe test query is very simple and easy to back track but in Dev it is appending like sawwith0,sawwith1 etc..looking difficult.
Is there in any configuration to change to generate query like Test(with out SAWWITH0).
NOTE:Any how results are same in both instances.

Are your database settings the same in both of the rpds dev and test?
Check wether you didn't change anything to the default. Open your RDP double click on the Database in the physical layer and go to Feature you can check all the settings there

Different ways to setup applets... what's best?

Alright. I need some help deciding how to setup an applet. I'm a high school student and I'm going to be in a competition on Saturday that will be using Java applets. I've been trying to get my hands on as much info about it as I can, but I've seen so many different ways of displaying things on an applet that I'm not sure what to do anymore.
So here's the deal. In a book I have, they set up applets like this:

The problem with the second one is that I don't know how to draw shapes on the second one and I might need to do that. I tried using paintComponent in it and things just got screwy. If anyone knows of a better way, please let me know. And since that one was developed directly from Sun, I'm guessing it's more efficient, so I would like to use that one if I can just learn how to use it as easily as the first.
Also, if anyone knows a completely different way to do this that's better, please let me know.

The second Example class shows an important issue: swing is not thread safe, and thus all GUI operations, including creating the GUI itself, must be done in the event dispatch thread. Read more about it at http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/uiswing/misc/threads.html#EDT.
The second class Example does also not seem to be an applet, that is why main() is used instead of init(). But even in init() you are not guaranteed that the current thread is the EDT - it is choosen by the browser you are using - and you should thus use invokeLater() there as well.
Appart from that, a component should not care if it is displayed in an applet or in an application.

So looking at your picture you have the original public IP address range configured on the OUTSIDE and its used for NAT for different servers behind the ASA firewall.
Now you have gotten a new public IP address range from the ISP and want to get it into use.
How do you want to use this IP address range? You want to configure the public IP addresses directly on the servers or NAT them at the ASA and have private IP addresses on the actual servers (like it seems to be for the current server)?
To get the routing working naturally the only thing needed between your Router and Firewall would be to have a static route for the new public network range pointing towards your ASA OUTSIDE IP address. The routing between your Router and the ISP core could either be handled with Static Routing or Dynamic Routing.
So you dont really need to change the interface configuration between the Router and ASA at all. You just need a Static route pointing the new public IP address towards the ASA outside IP address.
Now when the routing is handled between the ISP - ISP/Your Router - Your Firewall, you can then consider how to use those IP addresses.
Do you want to use the public IP addresses DIRECTLY on the HOSTS behind the firewall?This would require you to either configure a new physical interface with the new public IP address range OR create a new subinterface with the new public IP addresses range AND then configure the LAN devices correspondingly to the chosen method on the firewall
Do you want to use the public IP addresses DIRECLTY on the ASA OUTSIDE as NAT IP addresses?This would require for you to only start configuring Static NAT for the new servers between the inside/dmz and outside interface of the ASA. The format would be no different from the previous NAT configuration other than for the different IP addresses ofcourse
Of the above ways
The first way is good because the actual hosts will have the public IP addresses. Therefore you wont run into problems with DNS when the LAN users are trying to access the server.
The second way is the one requiring the least amount of configurations/changes on the ASA. In this case though you might run into problem with DNS (to which I refer above) as the server actually has a private IP address but the public DNS might reply to the LAN hosts with a public IP address and therefore connections from LAN could fail. This is because LAN users cant connect to the servers OUTSIDE NAT IP address (unless you NAT the server to public IP address towards LAN also)
