How to initiate a workflow saved in a wft files

Dear WF_developers
I am a very beginner in WF technology. I just finished with all installations requirements (server/ client/ configuration) and start creating wft files. But how to initiate a workflow contained within a wft is not clear to me.
I did a lot of search in forum as well as html docs available with the product, but couldn't find the exact details.
The version information for my installation components are as follows:
Server version: 2.6.2 (Oracle 9i)
Workflow builder: 2.6.2

What Alejandro is mentioning that create a RFC which accesses you workflow on ABAP end. At your Java side just make the call the BAPI.
So you need a BAPI say ZMYBAPI which accesses your ZWORKFLOW. Now on Java side create a WD project which accesses ZMYBAPI.

How to handle hyphenation while saving pdf into word file by Acrobat XI

Hi All,
When I am saving my searchable pdf file into word document hyphenation at the end of line are appearing with a space in word file.
Any idea to handle such cases.

This has to do with the way the file was originally created. There's
nothing much that can be done about it, except for running a Search&Replace
command in Word to remove any hyphens followed by a line-break.

How to trigger GP workflow through ABAP Program.

Hi All.
i have one scnerio , i want to create BOM through Custom Ztransaction that will be developed in ABAP Modulepool.
User will create BOM from this ztransaction through Transactional Iview in PORTAL,Once the user save transaction , i want to trigger a GP(Guided Procedure ) workflow,from ABAP Program.
is it possible to trigger GP workflow?
if yes how to do it , please suggest the way out.

As u see in my requriment that, Workflow is not designed within SAP , But the Workflow will be designing
in SAP Netweaver, its a GP Workflow. And Ztransaction(Developed by ABAP) will be seen by user through portal and
he save transaction on PORTAL, In backend ABAP program will run , and after meeting certain condition, it should create
or(Initiate) GP workflow(process).
So my question is , how ABAP Program will call GP workflow, How the connection will be made in between ABAP Code and GP workflow framework.

I succeeded to connect BPM 11g to P6 and I can see tasks in "Action Required" tab but I can't initiate any workflow, indeed there is no items in "select workflow" window when I click on + button ! :(
Could you please help me what should I do to initiate workflow and how can I add some workflow on initiate workflow window.

I should mention that I installed both SOA and P6 on local machine
Problem appear when I want to initiate workflow and click to + button, there are no workflow template there !!
and when I troubleshoot that I don't found any error in "P6WebAccess.html "
Sachin, should I do something in my BPM also ?
I mean from where those workflow template should appear there ?
I'm sure my P6 is connected to BPM, because whenever I run a sample workflow which, I designed in JDEV and deployed on soa-infra, I have notifications on 'action required' tab, but when I want to initiate workflow from P6, there is nothing to select :(

The image you have uploaded is unable to be displayed.
Call Forwarding is a carrier controlled feature. Most likely, the number you see could be for the Voice Mail server.
It's advised you call your mobile service provider to further assist with this feature.

How to purge the workflow which is in process

Hi Friends,
I am facing one problem in the AME Workflow.
when a user submit a page for approval process, workflow engine invokes . and in the hr_api_transcations table transacation id is created for that workflow transacation. now the problem is, if i purge that workflow process using concurrent program 'PURGE OBSELETE WORKFLOW RUNTIME DATA' . it is deleting the workflow. but when i see the hr_api_transacation table still the transacation id for that workflow is active.
Example :-
when i see through through the responsibility (workflow administrator web applications)=>Administrator workflow=>Status monitor
when i type the item key say some x and search for the workflow status i cant see the workflow status. i can see it is deleted.
but when i type the same item key in the hr_api_transacation
like :- select * from hr_api_transactions where item_key='X' i can see the status of this transacation is active and workflow is in pending.
can anyone explain me why system is behaving like.. how to stop the workflow process and how to delete the transacation id from the table.

I have to run a standard report(IW39) in background and save the result ALV as excel or text file.
How to get the result saved in excel / text format if I don't want to customize the standard program?
(In the spool, there is an option to save list in file "Spreadsheet", but the saved format is not what we expected.
It is expected the data to be put is separated in each column / tab-delimited in the text file....)

I don't have any ready made coding examples, but using the F1 help on SUBMIT statement will help to get you quite a way:

It's either in local folders, as it seem you had been doing, or in icloud. If you go into the mac's Pages and view the icloud files, you can drag on onto another to create a folder. But you can only have folder one level deep, so you can't organize your files/folders like you can on a mac, using nested folder several levels deep.

Thanks for replying. I am converting from MS Office Word document to Adobe Acrobat Document and opening with Reader XI - sorry my mistake.
I now notice another problem. On trying to open a specific hyperlink in the pdf version I get the message 'Acrobat does not allow connection to: www.biblegateway.com'. Why would there be a restriction?

Hi,
Well, why dont you check the event that gets triggered during the Status change of the user?
This can be done by switching on the EVENT TRACE using SWELS txn and simulate the BUSINESS PROCESS and then check the event trace using SWEL.
After getting the required Business Object and event, Please attach your WF to that EVENT in the BASIC DATA-START EVENTS.
