How to initiate auto search and import

When I first started iTunes, it initiated a auto search and import of files to my library, but it got interrupted by a software update and thus terminated the import process. How do I re-initiate that auto import?

How Do I Mass Search and Replace Swatch Colors In Entire Indesign CS6 Document?

I've jumped from CS4 to CS6 and its been a little while since, but just trying to refamiliarize myself with the many Features of Indesign CS6.
Here's my issue: I have a really old CS4 document I've opened up and saved in CS6. I have to change all swatch colors throughout the document from pantone swatch 295 C to updated pantone swatch 293 C.
Question, without my having to go through the entire document one object at a time looking for each object, HOW do i perform a Mass search and replace of Color swatch references from 295 C to 293C.
I thought i could just click swatch properties and update the color... but No... that doesnt work as swatch properties is just grayed out
I'm sure i've overlooked something but a refresher on how to mass find and replace color in a document would be great.

How to make a movieclip and import it to another fla file ?

Hi,
I am having one of those 'self doubt sanity' moments.
Entering melt down here !
I want to make a movieclip from a graphic map background, and some existing movieClips that reside in another .fla
In this other .fla file the movieclips are in the wrong layer so by starting over I wish to tidy things up.
How do I create a movie clip from such ?
Then I start thinking, how does one create a movie clip, then bring it into another file ?
I even did a test that went:-
1) create new AS3 file
2) draw a box
3) select box and hit F8 Convert to symbol, select movieclip and name it box_movieclip
4) d/click box and made a classic tween and had box moving across stage.
5) save as and named file MovieClip_Boxtest.fla
6) open new file AS3 and import to library the BoxTween.fla and got a message saying One or more files not imported as problems reading them.
So having done the above stages 1 to 5 which made a movieclip, how do I get that into another fla file ?
having done this before I am panicking that I have lost some brain cells !

When I want to move a movieclip from one fla to another I just right click it in the library and select copy. Then I go to the library of the other fla, right click the library (off any other symbols) and select paste.

Will server search and import existing profiles from Imacs on the network

We are in the process of installing new imacs into an existing windows 2003 SB network. Today the SMB server is the DNS server however I have bought a mac server in order to take the SMB out of the loop and change it over to simply being a file server for reference via VM's using Windows 7 of the old Windows PC's that the Imacs are replacing.
We currently have 4 imacs in the network already and have their own profiles as per the standard start up. The question is will the mac server when configured as the replacement DNS server find and import the existing Imac profiles or will they need to be recreated via the server

The executable will be run on the client computer, if you acces them by a shared drive or something.
But download time can be noticable, but it shouldn't cost performance, be aware that all users will share the same app.ini file.

How to get SharePoint Search and offline Availability properties using powershell with CSOM

I want to get the information about the SharePoint sites being crawled or not. I tried to get "Search
and offline Availability in SharePoint" settings properties but I couldn't get those properties.

Since AllowAutomaticASPXPageIndexing is a member in SPWeb members while not in Web members, we can not use Client Side Object Model with it. If you need to use it in client side, you need to create a web service for it.

How to use auto-increment and search option for MS Access DB

Dear All,
I have configured our invoice in Adobe Livecycle and connected it to MS Acess 2007 as per http://forms.stefcameron.com/2006/09/18/connecting-a-form-to-a-database/.
All is working fine, I can insert, retrieve data from DB to invoice and vice versa.
Now I want few things to be implemented on our invoice.
When ever I open our invoice, it populate the first entry from DB, Is it possible to populate the last entry ?
Auto increment invoice number from MS Access DB every time we open our invoice after save.
How to implement search option from DB for invoice number ?
Please let me know if someone can provide me help on my scenario, so that I can share more stuff related to invoice and DB.

As far as I know there is not any auto increment data type in Oracle. Instead of this you should create a sequence and get the next value of the sequence while creating a row in your table.
CREATE SEQUENCE Test_Sequence ;
CREATE TABLE Test_Table ( Id NUMBER , Foo VARCHAR2(4) ) ;
ALTER TABLE Test_Table ADD CONSTRAINT Test_Table_PK_Id PRIMARY KEY ( Id ) ;

How to export a schema and import the schema to a different schema name

I am using Oracle9i Oracle Enterprise Manager Console.
I can export the HR to a dmp file.
I have created another user call MYHR and I would like to import hr.dmp to the new user.
1. How can I add a schema using OEM?
I can do it by creating a table in MYHR and refresh OEM.
2. How can I import HR.dmp to MYHR using OEM.
I can import it using command line:
imp user/password@connectstring file='c:\hr.dmp' full='Y'

You don't have to create a schema explictly.
Say you create a user u1. Now this user u1 create some object s, then the schema u1 is automatically created.
Schema is actually a logical collection of objects.
2.
Why using OEM for importing. Using the command is much more easier.
Your command is bit incorrect. Don't use full=y to import a schema.
Use ; imp userid=user/password@connect_string file=filename fromuser=HR touser=MYHR
Better add "log=some text file". Then use can see the log also.

I had imported the application and workspace into my apex. But, I am not able to run the application because, I had specified my default schema(HR) for the application. How can I import the schema 'Ves' ,in which the application is developed, into my apex?..so that I can run the application in the same schema..Please Help. Thanks

1. You make references to "import[ing] the application and workspace into +my+ apex - how many instances of oracle/apex do you have?
2. You say that you "specified [your] default schema (HR) for the application." I am assuming that you are referring to the "parsing schema"? If so, you can change this you know - it isn't 'set in stone' at the time you install.
3. With the above in mind, does the schema "Ves" exist at all in the 'target' Oracle instance /apex installation? If so, it may not be necessary to re-create it.
If you really do require to export/import the "Ves" schema, bear in mind that the DDL script will only create the schema objects - it won't load the data with it; you'll need to do that separately (or at least, code that element yourself into the script, if it's on the same DB instance). This might not be a problem for you but if your app relies on metadata from look-up tables and the like, it may not behave the way you expect, or even run at all...

How to stop auto play on importing audio/video

I am so sorry to post this question. I've seen it many times around on internet, but it is driving me ABSOLUTELY MAD. After importing audio/video on iTunes (plus copy into iTunesLibrary), the file automatically starts playing. It is annoying me more and more, I can not seem to turn the function off. iTunes seems to be defaulted nowadays to start autoplay after importing music or video into iTunes~?
Please someone, where can I turn this function off????????????

Uhm...you both talk aout the actual folder 'automatic add to iTunes'? So, have to look that up tomorrowmorning. It is an actual folder in my iTunes media folder???
I don't get it. I thought by checking the box in preferences (automatically add to iTunes) that it makes a copy of the file that I wanted to add and place it in my iTunes library. Then I throw away the original which I dragged into iTunes.
So, i understand that is not the way to add files?
But dragging into the folder 'automatically add to iTunes', does that mean that there are more than one copies of a file after adding? Meaning...one in the 'automatically add to-folder' AND in the library? I only need one file....otherwise I wind up with several duplicates. Just one in iTunes library will do fine for me. There is backup elsewhere for files i need to keep....
But anyway...thanx for the tip. Will try this tomorrow, search for the automatically add to-folder and let you know!

Please help,my itunes account started downloading apps and taking my money. What do i do to stop this

I have never heard of the app store automatically downloading apps if the user did not initiate the download by entering their password first. Sign out of your account and that should stop it.
If someone shares an Apple ID with you, then you might be seeing the downloads that they have purchased and that is why this happening - i f you have auto downloads turned on in Settings > Store > Automatic Downloads > Apps > On.
Does anyone share your Apple ID?

How to make a package and import it later

Hi folks,
this is a very basic question but it is not working to me so i will appreciate your comments.
I had programmed many classes that are going to be used in many projects so they must be part of a library. Tell me whether or not this procedure is correct ?
Compile those classes into .class files. Create a package with the jar application putting the .class files into a single file called my_utils ( .jar or .zip ?). Import the package from other projects using the import directive and storing the my_utils file in the project's library directory. Is this correct ?

If you want to create a package and then put the package into a jar file, first compile into .class files (in appropriate package directories), then jar all of the .class files.

You do not have put the .class files into a jar. Java packages are used for organizing classes, managing class name space, and controlling access to classes. Java jar files are a way to put multiple classes into a single file while compressing the content. Jar files can contain multiple packages and packages do not have to be inside of jar files.

How to export outlook calendar and import them in OCS calendar

We used POP accounts so all the calendars, emails, tasks etc. were located locally in the PST file. i am in the process of upgrading everyone to the OCFO 10.1.3.07. I tried for a few users to just export from Outlook the calendar items and re-import them after the OCFO was installed but it seems to add the items correctly but we can't see availability of the users in the scheduling from outlook meeting creation screen.
Is there a special migration procedure from stand alone outlook PST to OCS calendar ?
