How to insert a LaTeX equation in a quiz? Captivate 8

Video was based on an explanations somewhere on my blog, both for replay and for audio (in 6-7: http://blog.lilybiri.com/toggle-shape-buttons). Same for the mute button, where I told the author that there is a bit of a maths mistake in his expression:
Expression cpCmndMute = 1 - cpCmndMute
He reversed it, which will lead to negative 1. Lucky for him that Captivate doesn't understand negative numbers, -1 will be translated to +1. But as an engineer, this feels terribly wrong to me. I don't know why he deleted my comment....

As for a replay button, in CP5.5 maybe this easier expression could work as well: Assign cpCmndGotoSlide with rdinfoCurrentSlide.
Should check, but for the moment on this system no 5.5 available

It's important to note that no matter how you get equations into iBA, all equations are represented as MathML in the published iBook. (except, obviously I hope, equations that are simply images that you insert)

Does anyone know how to insert an Articulate Engage interaction into a Captivate 2 project?

If I were in your shoes, here is what I'd try. Place the
content from Articulate in a specific folder. Then publish your
Captivate to the same folder to ensure all files are there
together. Then test. Obviously, this may work or it may fail. And
just as obviously, if it works, you're done!
If it fails, I think I'd try publishing my Captivate using
different settings. Try publishing for different Flash versions.
You might find that if you target Flash 6 it fails, but 7 or 8 may
work.
If the Flash version bit fails, are there some settings in
Articulate that allow you to reduce the number of files that are
required? For example, I know that when Captivate 2 came out, many
folks had to scramble (and some still do) over the fact that it
produced multiple output files. Some LMS' didn't like the fact
there were typically two .SWF files to distribute. We then learned
we could eliminate one of the .SWF files by turning off the
borders. So I'm wondering if perhaps Articulate may have similar
output options you could use.

I've recd. a request to handle one of the title already done in LaTeX software in InDesign, for this I need to do the below tasks:
(1) Need to convert the LaTeX data to load in InDesign
(2) Need to convert the equations done with LaTeX coding as equation objects in InDesign
(3) Need to retain the LaTeX links to work in InDesign, so that while generating the PDF, these links should be worked
So pl. give me your suggestions to handle the above mentioned tasks. I know I can use the third-party tool called 'MathMagic' to handle point 2 (but this tool seems expensive), but I need to know whether any other easy methods to handle. I'm using InDesign - CS3 (Windows)

For points 1 and 3, I decided to convert the LaTeX contents to XML to fix the linking using automation thro' JS. For point 2, I'm still studying to find a solution and since this is the first time we've recd. this request, we're not ready to invest for one title.

How do I write math with latex in numbers?

Pages doesn't support LaTeX commands either. And if you're referring to the iOS version of Pages, it doesn't have much if anything in the way of an equation editor built in that I know of. There might be an equation editor for iOS that would create an equation as a graphic which you could then paste into Pages.
If you're asking about the Mac version of Pages, you can get MathType which will work with Pages. Or you can use something like LaTeX Equation Editor (which may be getting rather old now):

which can export a PDF which you can then embed in Pages.

I followed following steps :

    i have to insert horizontal lines in alv report.( RM07MLBB )
        actually my requirement is:
                           basis list = RM07MLBB.
first secondary list = another report is called here ( RM07DOCS )
                  i want to insert horizontal lines in the first secondary list, when i execute individually RM07DOCS , i can get horizontal lines, but when i dounle click in the basic list --> in the first secondary list , i am not getting the horizontal lnes.
functional modules used are REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_LIST_DISPLAY & REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.
    here in this program,
                    is_layout = alv_layout.
hence i tried to give
              alv_layout-no_hline = ' '.
but not effecting.
          can some one please tell me , how to insert lines in the alv report.

     so i cannot insert horizontal lines in the first secondary list according to my sorting condition, i.e., in a single block there should be :
       if same delivery challan number is repeating they should come in the same block,
for the corresponding delivery challen number, if have po number, is repeating , they also should come in the same block.

At least you can try StringTokenizer to parse your text files. Or download a text JDBC driver to parse your files, for instance, HXTT Text(www.hxtt.net) or StelsCSV(www.csv-jdbc.com).

How to insert sales text (MM02) into a single record of a Ztable.

I'm extracting data from different data base tables and populating a Ztable which has Matnr as primary key and sales text as a field.
I have already used READ_TEXT to display the text and it is displayed in multiple records which in turn leads to duplication of Material numbers.
Now I want to avoid duplication of records (Matnr) as this being a primary record, and display the sales text of a particular material number into one single record.
Can anyone tell me how to insert sales text (MM02) transaction into one single record.

Hi,
you have to get the TextModel associated with the textframe. Once you got that, ITextModel has an Insert()-method. You could also process kInsertTextCmdBoss - there are quite a few examples around. I believe WriteFishPrice also inserts text into a frame, just as an example. Good luck ...

Hi,
There is no "Check box" in a table, a check box is a GUI (Graphical user interface) item.
What you want is to store a boolean value in a table. For that you can use the varchar2(1) datatype and store Y or N. (or anything else)
(you cannot define boolean as a datatype for a column).
If you're using a front-end application like apex then it might be useful for you to read the documentation about chekc boxes :

(for the rest if it's Oracle Forms then everything is already said).
