How to insert additional files on mobile apps

If i already finished my application/game then i want to add new content such as themes, images, music, etc. is this method posible?
or if there another way to add some additional content to my apps/games please tell me. my application/game using AIR.
by the way, i wonder how DLC or other the same system working, is that files added to our directory then update (something like) the xml file?

I too wonder how In-App Purchases work, are you just setting some boolean to true when the user buys additional items and this allows them to use it or are you downloading additional files that the app can now reference? Please explain someone.

No - the Word files do not need to be saved in any other format if you have Pages on your iPad. There are other apps that provide better compatibility than Pages but it will work for you. You have to have DropBox on your PC and the free DropBox app on the iPad to use DropBox to transfer files.
To send the file using DropBox - make sure DropBox is running on your computer. Then place the file in one of the folders that you have set in your DropBox folder on your PC. Launch DropBox on your iPad and find the folder that you placed the file into and tap on that folder. Find the document and tap on it. It will open in the window on the right. Tap the arrow icon in the upper right corner and select Open in Pages.
If you have pdf files in iBooks that you want to put into Pages you have to email them to yourself and use the Open In feature when you open the email. You cannot send a file from iBooks other than to email it - at least I am not aware of any other way.

An other way is to copy the pdf with Windows explorer into the path /documents of the phone. Open Office and choose Adobe Reader. The pdf will be copyed in the Sandbox of the Reader and You may read it. You may delete the PDF in the documents path. It will still be in the Readers sandbox. All without any cloud ;-)!

I created a custom UI using Photoshop and now that Catalyst files aren't supported in FB 4.6, how would I go about creating or importing a UI for my mobile app? How to use OneDrive for Business mobile app with SharePoint 2013 on-premise?

Hi All,
I have a SharePoint 2013 (with latest December updates) that host a dedicated personal web site for users.
The OneDrive portal works fine and users are able to sync their files with the OneDrive client for Windows.
Now I want to test the OneDrive for Business mobile app on Android, but there is no option to specify the "personal" portal URL.
It asks only for domain credentials.
Does I need to configure specific records on my public DNS to allow mobile users to sync their files?

I can confirm that with iOS you can connect to your SharePoint server through the advanced options.
But the very strange thing is that the OneDrive version for Windows Phone 8.1 is limited as the Android version.
This has no sense.
Why does Microsoft should limit the Business functions on its mobile operating system, and not on iOS?
Another strange thing is that configuring my Exchange account, Windows Phone 8.1 informed me that it has connected OneDrive for business (but is a fake information).
See attached image.
If I open the built-in OneDrive app, it give me the option to add a OneDrive for business account, but is only for Office 365 users (like with the Android version).
I thing that Microsoft should let at least to Windows Phone users to connect to on-premise SharePoint sites.

i'm new to lob types. my requirement is to store a document or excel spreadsheet or image to a single column and will be known at run time.
i'm using java and oracle xe.
1. lob has 4 types (blob, clob, nlob and bfile). which one will be best for my requirement.
2. i have read some examples about clob and bfile. in all the examples, we need to create a directory and with the help of that directory, we need to insert the file.
but, my doubt is, is it necessary to copy the file in that location, before inserting the file. and if not how i can give the file path to that one.
its really helpful for me if u given the code or an example.

How to create a storyline-like mobile app player

Hello,
I was checking out the Storyline elearning dev tool and their free mobile player app. For branding purposes I would like to create my own similar app in html5 and javascript wrapped in something like phonegap for submission to the App Store. I'm enrolled as an apple dev but somewhat of a newbie to javascript. The way I see it there are 3 or 4 things the app does:
1. When your elearning, stored on a web server, is accessed by URL from the iPads browser it automatically launches the ipad app and lists the module ready for playback. Accessing additional modules launches the app and list them along with previously launched modules.
2. There is a toggle button to allow the user to download the elearning module for offline viewing if not connected to the Internet.
3. There is a way to add a module to your favorites (would be nice to be able to remove from favorites or ipad altogether also).
Those are the three main things I'm needing help with. Being such a "noob" to javascript I'm not sure where to look for the right tutorials/help. Any suggestions?

How to handle additional files.

Hi,
In PI we can pick up additional files in the Sender File Adapter.
My scenario would require to pick up invoice1.txt and and invoice1.jpg (the .jpg is the additional file)
I need to get FCC for .txt file, map it, and send it out to R3 with a proxy.
The additional file should go to a share (also on the R3, and then be accessible via a link)
Is this possible?
What configuration is needed to separate the .txt from the .jpg? Would it require BPM?
Any useful pointers/documents on the subject would be appreciated

I know how to configure the sender file adapter to pick up the additional file.
What i am looking for is how to handle it inside the integration engine, because i need to split the message from the additional file.
As mentioned above i need to send the .txt file via proxy to R3 and the .jpg file as is to R3, but it needs to go a share on the R3 directory.
file.txt + file.jpg --> Sender File Adapter --> PI / --> Proxy --> records form the file.txt
\ --> Receiver File Adapter --> .jpg

How to insert embedded files in PDF

Does anyone know how to embed files in a PDF file? I have a Word document where I inserted clickable files (ie, Outlook email message, another word document) but when I convert them to PDF, they are not clickable, meaning they can't be opened. I do not want to share the source file so is there a way to activate these files within the PDF file?
Any help is appreciated.

THANK YOU MIKE! I've never used this feature before, I have a follow up question, do I then have to email the attached documents as well or do they open automatically? Also, will the other user need to have the same Acrobat software to open them? I believe they only have Adobe Elements.

As I said earlier, you have to maintain the list of filename's "itemdescr" in different temp file and load it an and when required table instead of checking for round robin functionality. If you are looking forward that oracle sqlldr can able to access the filename as one of the parameter then - it might not possible AFAIK.

different files. All the other sql statements are the same and can be hard coded. Hopefully it helps –

How exactly would i remove a Button from the actionBar "actionContent" in a flex mobile app?
I tried these:

The actionContent is setup like that, I know like with most mxml stuff I could give it an ID to reference it but im not sure how how to give the action content an id number `<s:actionContent id="testID">` does not work. So how can i access this to remove it? making it invisible isn't cutting it i need to actually remove it.

How to import .eml files to Mail.app?

Hello,
I've been trying to find a less tedious way to migrate from Gmail to iCloud. Trying to drag and drop (or simply move via mail.app options) results in errors. I've been able to move over about 10000 of my 60000 messages so far, but it's been a long process disrupted by the aforementioned errors. Therefore, I've decided to simply download the Gmail messages. Unfortunately, they are in .eml files. Obviously I can open them in mail.app if I ever need them, but it would be much easier to import them into mail.app so they are on the iCloud server on not on my mac. This is good because it saves room on my mac, and also makes searching for old messages easier.
So my question is (and I've been searching all over for this), is there still no way to import .eml files into mail.app? Are there no programs that can at least convert .eml to .mbox?
A workable solution would be a time (life) saver and greatly appreciated!!!

In case anyone runs into this issue in the future, here is how I moved Gmail messages to iCloud.
1) Download an app for mac called Backup Gmail. Proceed to backup all your Gmail messages to your mac by following instructions given. The files will be in .eml.
2) Download emailchemy from the link above. Proceed to convert .eml messages to .mbox.
3) Open mail.app and go to File > Import Mailboxes. Follow on screen instructions. Depending on how many messages you have, this can take a while. When done you will see a folder called "import-1" in your mail.app under On My Mac. At this point your Gmail messages are able to be used in mail.app and if you are happy with this, don't go to step 4. In step 4 we will move the messages to your iCloud server.
4) This is where things get tedious and tricky if you have a lot of messages. Go to each folder in your "import-1" folder and select all messages. Then drag and drop them either in your iCloud inbox or any designated folder in iCloud. It appears that your sent messages are mixed in here, so it's not a clean solution, but the best one I've found so far. This process can take a long time if you have a lot of messages and you might run into some errors, but it works.s

I would like to populate another table with the contents of this spreadsheet file from apex_application_files.
I have spent almost 2 days looking for an answer on how to do this.
Can you please tell me how to do this or point me to a good resource?

I did see this code, but this is not what I was looking for. This code simply inserts the file into another table, but I was looking for the contents of this file (eg. a single column spreadsheet with 10 lines and all ten of these lines to be inserted as rows in a table) inserted as rows into another table.

How do I get files from an App that won't send via Email??

Hey Apple Community, this is my first post.
I got an App from the App Store called "Recorder Pro" from a developer called "David Bajada". I'm using this App for recording my commentaries for my YouTube channel from my iPad. The problem is, it's 60 minutes long, and it won;t send by Mail when I click the "Share" button. Now, I know there has to be some sort of way to get that Audio file off my iPad. Is there any programs or software that can do this for me? Or is it embedded to the iPad and can't be taken off/used?

The App I have only has a "Share" button; which is linked to the "Mail" App that's on the iPad. Problem is, that's the only way of sharing the file, through the Mail App. The problem is, the file is too big and long to share via mail. There has to be some someftware to extract that audio file from that App because it only supports sharing through Mail
