How to insert blank frames in middle of timeline?

As im really newbie and have a little problem.
I am making a picture slideshow and need to insert a new
picture in the middle of the slideshow, and then move the other
pictures.
Every picture is on their own layer.
How do I move the whole timeline with all the pictures, so I
can insert a new one on a new layer in the middle.
I tried click where I want to have the picture inserted and
then press the apple key (as im on a mac) and use the mouse to move
the timeline. But this only shorten the time of the picture
selected.

Create a new layer. Place your picture, as a symbol, on the
new layer. Then select all of the images you want to move forward.
Then slide them forward. (to the right) You should have the room
you need between the untouched layers and the newly moved layers to
extend the new layer with new picture.

How to insert blank page into pages document when using word processing mode?

I've recently created a 50+ page document using Pages '09. I started the document using word processing mode. Now, when I view in thumbnail mode and try to insert a blank page somehwere in the middle of the document, it won't allow me to select where I want. It just selects all the pages, as thought they are one section. I believe this is because I am in word processing mode. My question is, can I convert the document to layout mode so that each page represents it's own section, without losing what work I've already done? And if so, how?
The document is entirely text boxes and images, so I don't have any need for word processing space. I just need new pages to act as blank templates for the text boxes and images I create.
Is it possible to keep all my work as is, and convert the document to layout mode vs. word processing mode?

It just selects all the pages, as thought they are one section.
That's because they are one section. You must insert section breaks to separate them. There is no need to use page layout which does make each page a separate section. You have to manually add each page & use text boxes or other containers for the text & link the text boxes.

How to Insert Blank Record in Array?

I assume that I need to insert a blank record into my array
to solve the problems below, but am not sure how to do so.
I have a function shown below that is part of a two selects
related Component. My first problem is if no data is passed to the
argument, the select field bound to the function is very tiny (I
would like it to have a default width). Adding a "width" does not
work.
SECONDLY, if there is data passed to the argument (in
Arguments.accountID, i would like to have a blank record inserted
at the top of the select list results. So in summary, if no data is
passed to the argument, the select field is very small. If data is
passed to the argument, the select list is populated, but I need to
have a blank record (option) at the top of the select list.

How to insert blank spaces at end of a record

i need to write 10 records each of 80 char size. of these 10 records, each record might have different data and the last field will be a filler field which only has space.
for example:

like this there are 10 types with 80 char size, however the last field is a filler, in which we need to fill only blank spaces.
when i wrtie this data to the application server file i can't see the spaces and when download(to .TXT file) also i can't see the spaces.
is there anyway that i can keep the spaces at the end of the record.
Please note, in the middle of the record, we can keep the spaces as there is some data after that.
Any hint would be of great help.

Just a thought, try as below:
Declare a text variable of length 80 characters. Before transferring the record to Output file, move the work area to the text field and add a New Line character at 80th position. Now tranfer this text field to file with length specification.
Eg:
DATA: l_cr(1) TYPE c VALUE cl_abap_char_utilities=>cr_lf,
      l_text(80) TYPE c.
OPEN DATASET ....
IF sy-subrc EQ 0.
   LOOP AT <itab> INTO <wa>.
      MOVE <wa> TO l_text.
      l_text+80 = l_cr.
      TRANSFER l_text TO <dsn>.
   ENDLOOP.
ENDIF.
Hope that helps, also check the codepage in which you download the file from Application server before Viewing. Maybe checking the file contents via AL11.

How to insert row in the middle of a table so that the below content will move to another page?

I'm making a huge form in LiveCycle Designer. I want to be able to add rows in the middle o the table but in a way that the content below will move down automatically in a way it doe's in Word for example.
Sometimes I am adding a very high new row in the middle of a page and I want the content in the below rows to be moved to another page and if it is necessary I want a new page to be automatically created on the bottom of a document or something.
Is this possible or do I have to move everything by hand if I add new row to a table?

If you are adding the rows at the runtime by clicking a button, then you have to use the instance Manager to add rows.. It will add rows at the end and then you need to write code to move the row at the desired location by using the moveInstance method of the instanceManager.
If you are adding a row at the design time, then you can right clcik the row and choose to add rows below.

How to insert blank spaces in XML tag?

Hi Experts,
I have a variable of type char and lenght 10 with value "ABCDE". When I write this value in xml tag <TEXT> using simple transformation it ignores the trailing blank spaces and the result xml string looks as <TEXT>ABCDE</TEXT>.
I want the xml tag with trailing blank spaces i.e. it should be like <TEXT>ABCDE     </TEXT>. And suppose if the variable does not contain any value, the xml tag should contain 10 blank spaces like <TEXT>          </TEXT>.
I have tried using the solution given in this link

but unfortunately it doesn't work.

Welcome to the forums.
Please import the clip in the project panel, right click on the clip and select new sequence from clip option, you can also drag the clip to new item icon at the bottom of the project panel to create a sequence.

Insert rows in the middle

I'm trying to figure out how to insert rows in the middle
row 1
row 2
row 3
I need to insert 2 rows before row 2
I know I have to use the AddRow(1, Position) however after many tries, it doesn't seem to work or at least I don't know how to
insert the second row as if I do +1 it's not realy adequate, also, pVal.Row reports Row 2 and in the documentation it sais 0 based which is not right so I'm a bit confused on how to go about that.

Here's the whole thing, maybe you'll understand where I'm at :
I enter an ItemCode which is a kit. After the person enter the quantity, I pop a .NET Windows form which asks for questions and then after the questions I get back and add the lines but it seems that when I add the lines, I'm still on the line I was entering the kit and it overrides it instead of Adding the new row at the position I'm asking it to add the row.
Even if I do pVal.Row +1 or +2 or +3, it doesn't matter

The code below adds the 2 lines all right but then, a blank line after and the line that was already there below is destroyed. Don't ask me why and what is happening to that existing line which seems to have lost the ItemCode or I don't know what happened

Hi,
you have to get the TextModel associated with the textframe. Once you got that, ITextModel has an Insert()-method. You could also process kInsertTextCmdBoss - there are quite a few examples around. I believe WriteFishPrice also inserts text into a frame, just as an example. Good luck ...
