Hello- Is it possible to insert an email address at the end of a captivate slide that would confirm completion of viewing the tutorial? How can this be done in Captivate 5.5?

E72 - how to remove email addresses in the email c...

The E72's email client seems to gather its own list of email addresses. This is over and above what is in your phone address book.
Is there any way to clear out these? I have some which the email is no longer valid and its annoying (the company had a domain name change so first.last@ is the same but the @xxx.com has changed to @yyy.com and it sorts on alphabetical order of first.last and you have to be VERY careful not to accidentally send to the wrong invalid email address

In addition to using the Bcc header, you can create a Group in AddressBook, and put the name of the Group in the To header. Then if you have selected in Mail Preferences/Composing to not check the box beside When sending to a group, show all memberaddresses, then the To address will ready Undisclosed-recipients. Using the Bcc header requires one address in the To header that everyone will see, but that can be your own email address.

How do I "link" an email address in the body of an email?

I know how to link a web url, but I cannot find a way to link an email address in the body of an email. I want the recipient of my email to be able to click on the email address that is displayed in my message and have it open a new email to that address on their computer like I have done in every other mail software. This is driving me mad! The London Store Apple Genius can only suggest either deleting my email account and then recreating it or totally reseting the iPhone to the original factory settings and then resynching it to my MacBook Pro to get everything back into the iPhone. However, he's not sure that this cache is not stored on the MacBook Pro during synching somewhere so I may well end up where I started! Allan Sampson answered my last "Help" topic, so I'm hoping he can beat the Apple Store Genius again!

This used to be me and the painful solution ( for PC users ) is:
Buy a Mac!
Everything "talks" to each other and it all interfaces fine with the business world.
Once you've adjusted to the ( much better ) Mac "culture" it all becomes clear and the
backup service and advice is second to none. Not only that, everything works!

I've been trying to remember my security questions for ages, and I can't seem to remember them. On my Apple ID I have changed my alternate email address because the previous one was deleted, but when I go on the "Password and Security" page on my Apple ID and there is a link saying "Forgot your answers? Send reset security info email to ************@*******.com" but it is giving me my old email that does not match my current one on my Apple ID and no longer exists. I have been trying for very long to recover my security questions' answers, but Apple is not coping with me.
Has anyone been through this or knows how to help me?

Open the App Store app, go to the Featured pane, swipe to the bottom, tap the Apple ID and sign out. Tap again and sign in with the Apple ID of your choosing.

Perfernece for contact to change. Do I just have to dis-associate my contact fromt the facebook account? Is only the autofill changable?

If you allow Facebook to access your contacts and you have the @facebook.com email alias turned on, it will add the @facebook.com email to your contact info, and because it has the fixed label of "email" it overrides every other email address.
They didn't fix this in iOS 8.
There are two ways to remove the @facebook.com email from your contact info:
If you don't need your Facebook friends and their info updating your contacts, go into iOS Settings -> Facebook and turn off access to Contacts.
If you don't use your @facebook.com email address (all it does it forward to the primary email address) you can go into the Facebook app, More -> Settings -> General -> Email -> and uncheck "Use your Facebook email". Removing it from Account Emails does not work, you have to turn it off. Once you do this, go to iOS Settings -> Facebook and turn Contacts off and on again to make it update your info. The @facebook.com address should be removed.

I could be wrong, but it sounds like Facebook imported to your contacts. I have the Xfinity app on my new ipad, too, but none of my stored contacts from the online version are showing, only what I manually entered into the iPads contacts are there. When I did add the FB app, I did not grant it permission to push and pull from my ipad (not a fan of FB knowing every detail about me), so that may be where our difference lies. You could try to open the app and change your privacy settings, or delete it and then reinstall without granting permissions to integrate.
I'm sure someone here with a lot more knowledge then me can probably diagnose your issue better, though. Good luck!

You cannot change your iCloud email address. It is an @me.com address, and is associated specifically with that iCloud account. If you want a different @me address assigned, you have to delete the current iCloud account and set up a new one.

It sounds as though you are experiencing an issue with an Apple ID and authorizations. Based on your post, it sounds like you are familiar with the authorizing and deauthorizing process. The Apple ID in question (your wife's email) may be originating from the iPhone you are attempting to update. Is it possible that your wife created an Apple ID or iCloud account which is signed in on that iPhone? Adobe Reader for iOS doesn't set the default email address when you email a PDF.
It's found in the Settings app:
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Mail > Default Account

For the iPad, iMac you need to create verifyible e-mail addresses created with one of the providers such as Yahoo, Gmail,etc. For the iphone you should use it's phone number, but an e-mail could be used for it too. If you want to associate these e-mail addresses with a single ID, I'm including a link to give you info about how you can do that. Read it carefully, as it can be a bit confusing.
